POWER FAILURE ,  , I once own a cafe i sold it because i can not afford 2 buy disel,pay satf , maitain equipment ,pay for I.S.P, e.t.c. MOST companies are folding up just because of this power failure, yet one yeye minister that see herself as a heroin said fuel subsidy removal is inevitable, when power is totally absent in nigeria , nigerians expert belives in theory and not reality,any economic theory wil tel  u 2 remove fuel subsidy so as to make money 4 d govt,but the reality in nigeria wil tel u it is sucidal, we stil hav 28.3 % by the time fuel subsidy is totally removed  and N.EPA & PHCN burried then we wil be -28.3%

BUT just 3 month 2 write d exam i met an engineering student in YABATECH who came 2 spend holiday with his uncle just beside my house ,i just found my way 2 this guy because he plays with younger pple around,one day he ask of my score in maths, 4 asking that question i decided 2 run away from him he pulled me back and d lesson started he started from the simplest maths ever i.e 2x2 to the most difficult dont be suprised my pple within just 3 months 2 WAEC he only thought me for 2 months plus then he left i had A3 in maths i never went back 2 retake again.
Now, this is my point , teachers that can teach maths/physics/chemisry/F.maths effectively are NOT NCE,OR B.edu gradutaes but Bsc in maths or B.eng or H.N.D in enginering because they are well rooted in this area unlike education graduates.TEACHERS ARE NOT MADE THEY ARE BORN studying Education at any level does not make u a teacher because the curriculum differs a lot . I hope the educationist will accept this.

Please , am not fighting u or anybody over this issue my younger sister works in d ministry of commerce and industry and she stand to benefit from this increament , but she herself hav started 2 reason with me over this issue because we grew up 2gether so she understand what am saying better, she always complain that she is broke even b4 month ends.

@1025, my point is this, (1) who fight for those in private organisation e.g graduate earning N10,000 in private school (2) N200 today can hardly by anything reasonable this days,but the fact is that if NLC and TUC fight 4 good govt policy even with what the workers earn now they wil survive , imagine the govt making a litre of petrol N10, a litre of kerosine N5 per litre, all roads to our various houses motorable, 24hrs stable power supply, a bag of cement to cost N200/bag, a bag of rice to cost N200/bag, a tokunboh to cost N50,000 or less, acessibility to loan using ur certificate as a collateral e.t.c all these are realisable even now, if this is achieved do the workers still need increament in minimum wage definately with what they earn now if this achieved they wil leave like king

so , what am driving at is this , if the above is what the NLC and TUC are agitating for it wil b far better, at this point directly or indirectly they wil be fighting 4 those in private sector as well majority of nigerian even the so called house of assemblies, P.A and useless special advisers wil not hav any reasons to steal the billions they steal because they wil know that with d little they steal it wil be enough 4 them, pls think abt this

Though u hav a point by saying GEJ promised d N18,000 minimum but he has refused 2 pay after d election, but do u hav 2 vote 4 somebody because he promised 2 giv u money, hunnnnnn anyway if he refuses 2 pay he is human it is only GOD that promises and does not fail.

minimum wage ! minimum wage !! minimum wage !!! hmmmmm anyway when compared with what d national assembly, state house of assembly and numerous P.A & SPECILA ADVICERS earn the N18,000 is stil a peanut 4 workers, but the reality is that we dont need a minimum wage in this country , how do we defined the plight of those that work in private organisations some dont even earn close 2 that amount and nobody fight 4 them they are always at d receiving end of the inflation that follows d collection of such increament.

For example i know of a university graduate in my area that earns as low as N10,000 per month where he works as a teacher in a private school, this category of pepple are far more than the civil service put together now who fight 4 this ones nobody, so what now happens to this one if d increament is implented they now carry the burden of increament in food stuffs,transport fare e.t.c

The NLC AND TUC are fighting 4 unjust course because since i was in primary school in 70's labour has been fighting 4 minimum wage yet there problem persist and wil continue 2 be in the next administration they wil come out again to ask 4 N50,000 minimum wage and that wil not solve d problem.

Labour has never come out 2 fight 4 bad govt policies, power problem,bad roads e.t.c which is d real problem draining their wages i remember in those days my father wil tel me he earns N200 PER MONTH he wil pay rent send 6 of us 2 school and i remember very wel under our bed is carton of peak milk, caton of sardines e.t.c that we take at wil to school and my father does not even complain because he replaces them at wil we dont have a generator because there was no need 4 it so at that age i never saw petrol with my eyes i only hear of it because power was stable out of this N200, my father stil bought a 3 bedroom flat at jaknde estate for N6,000 NAIRA due 2 good govt policy who then borrow them the money ,pay on there behalf and spread their repayment 4 the next twenty years.

Even if the minimum wage is implemented how many of them can afford 2 send 6 children 2 school buy enough provisions 4 them stay in descent accomodation just few of them that can syphoon money from other sources because they need 2 fuel their generator because of lack of power, visit d panel beatter often due 2 bad road, spend huge amount of money 2 fuel there car monthly due to high cost of fuel, part of this money stil goes kerosine and gas and so on and so on

SO NLC AND TUC FIGHT 4 THE RIGHT COURSE

u pple dont understand this boko haram ,they are only pressing 4 imposilble demand e.g they want a northerner as a president which is already a past tense, let me tel u they cant go to the east because of fear of BAKASI & EGBESU, they cant go to the south- south because of the fear of THE NIGER DELTA MILITANT and they cant come to south west because of fear of the fear O.P.C but if they want to give it a trial all these millitant group are battle ready 4 them just let them try this and see may be one HAUSA man will REMAIN in this area within just 24 hrs

mr poster, u are not serious, in 2008 my salary was just N19,000 (nineteen thousand naira only per month) i stayed in 2 bedroom with N90,000 per anum a wife who was not working & 2 children when suffer gum my head i resingned with one month salary to start life with, today 2010, with GOD'S help only i have a registered bussines , 8 computers all flat screen 3 photocopiers 2 offices one for my wife one for me and money is now rolling in but we are still crawling i know GOD we make us fly soon mr poster use ur brain and read motivational books with GOD all things are possible , 80k is huge amount if i had that by 2008 by now i wil be riding lexus jeep,
