Get the politics right, Gani Adams said this as at the time they were putting Amotekun logistics straight ,Lagos state refused to sign the bill into Law, all these happened in 2019, do not Forget that Gani Adams said, in the same interview that the National security Adviser (NSA) refused to approve the use of Pump action gun and ordinary dane gun (hunter gun) for the use of this outfit at this point the discussion ended in a stale mate. (According to Gani Adams In the-same interview)

Fast Forward to March 2020, when Lagos discovered that there was no head way for the Amotekun outfit to operate, since the approval of the use of ordinary hunter gun has been disapproved, by the National Security Adviser and other 5 south west governors are no longer showing interest in the establishment of the Amotekun oufit, Lagos state capitalized on this loop hole to pass the bill into Law in March 2020.

Now, ask Lagos State after the passage of the Amotekun into Law in March 2020 was there any significant approach or renegotiation with the National security Adviser ? definitely Not.

PoliticsWhy Obasanjo Endorsed Buhari by slaughter(op): 10:54am On Jun 12, 2016
By Ngozi Okonjo Iweala

WHY OBASANJO ENDORSED BUHARI

Why am taking a swift from supporting General Buhari . Just few hours ago, Obasanjo endorsed General Buhari as the man to deliver this nation. I was personally shocked, when I heard the news. This is because, I was expecting Baba to stay at the touch line, and leave Nigerians to study his body language. But the masquerade could not control his dance in the public market. Hence he mistakenly flogged his own mother who is also a trader in the market. Nigerians, I am left with no option than to tell us that, these ex-generals and their boys are up to something. The issue at hand is not all about the presidential seat. But rather, the national cake (oil blocks). Less I forget, is it not the same Obasanjo who woke up and hand picked his puppet 2011, who eventually grew like Joseph the messiah of Egypt? Is it not the same Obj that told us 2011, that General Buhari is too old to rule this country? Is it not the same Obj that told us Buhari is a dictator? Somebody should have a rethink like me. We must understand the preacher's language before decoding his message. If Obj can take a swift and prefer General Buhari to Jonathan, a puppet he dedicated his energy and resources to win 2011 election, then as an average Nigerian, we should have a rethink and ask our leaders what is so special in Aso Rock. If leadership is to serve the people, why is it that, the ex-generals finally gang up against their new recruit on account of change? If we're to outline the sins of Mr.President, are the ex- generals not guilty of such sins? One may ask why is SPEAKER taking a swift? Everybody wants change. But I am astonished the way and manner these ex- general joined the train of change. Is it that, this is the first time they heard the word change? If NO, why did they not change this country when they were given opportunity? Why advocating for change now when the puppet body language shows he Will not renew their oil blocks licence? Why advocating for change now, when the puppet purchased equipment to monitor and reduce vandalism? Why advocating for change now, when the strong headed puppet wiped out their ghost names from the civil service pay roll? Why advocating for change now, when the puppet sacked your boys as corrupt ministers? Why advocating for change now, when the puppet refused to dump Sambo for another puppet? Why advocating for change when he refused to kill Nigerians indiscriminatel y. But rather he is exploiting all means of dialogue. Unlike your Odi brutal killings and destruction. Why advocating for change now, when the puppet refused to twist governors hands with EFCC to pave his way like you did? Why advocating for change now, when at 72 years, you still tell your children of 50years they are the leaders of tomorrow? Why advocating for change now, when the puppet refused to give you the fertilizer deal? Why advocating for change now, when the puppet refused to jail your enemies? Why advocating for change now, when the puppet refused to rig election for your daughter? Why advocating for change now, when in your time railways were not working? Why advocating for change, when in your time, our judiciary could not delivered a fair judgement in favour of oppositions? Baba,Nigerians are fed up of you sitting in Otta, deciding their future. We want to decide our destiny with the help of God. We want to practice true democracy by using our votes to decide our future. Let the good works or antecedents of our leaders speak volume for them. Just after the presidential chat with Mr.President, we discovered that, you, your colleagues and errant boys, are spreading false informations to pave your way to aso rock. Lastly, I challenge you Baba, #Tinubu, #Atiku and others to tell Nigerians you don't have oil blocks or you Generals are not fighting the last battle to protect your oil blocks. They won't come out and speak my brothers and sisters. They want us to believe they are fighting for us. When they have their own local refineries at their backyards. R..I.P Fela: Animals wan dash me my human right.

PoliticsDemocracy Day Speech :delivered By Otunba Gani Adams by slaughter(op): 5:17am On May 31, 2016
Lectured Delivered by Otunba (Dr) Gani Adams at the NUJ Ondo State Chapter, Alagbaka, Akure Ondo State Today 30th of Monday 2016.
Farmers/herdsmen’s clashes: What implications for Nigeria?

Protocol
It is indeed a great pleasure to address this distinguished gathering on this occasion to mark our nation's Democracy Day.
Suffice it to say therefore, that Democracy is, after all, the reason we are all here.
I would like to salute the organizers of this event for counting me worthy to deliver this lecture on an issue that threatens the very basis of our unity as we speak.
The political side of the issue
There are many sides to the farmers/herdsmen’s crisis but let us just consider two, namely the political and the economic.
Now, Nigeria, for many of its ethnic over 250 ethnic groups, is obviously not a nation in the sense that we regard France, United Kingdom or South Africa as a nation.
That is why, as recently pointed out by Mr Dan Nwayanwu, former chairman of the Labour Party (LP) during a programme organised by the Ondo State government in Akure: given an option, many of the ethnic groups in Nigeria would prefer to be opt out of Nigeria.
Already, groups such as the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) and the Niger Delta Avengers, among others, have more or less shattered whatever illusions we may retain regarding the Nigeria that we are living in.
While Nigeria would obviously be better off remaining a nation, it is also true that a surgical operation is required to take out the cancer of disintegration currently ravaging the country on every side.
And this is quite simply because Nigeria, as it is presently operated, is not sustainable.
Nigeria is supposed to be a federal republic but it operates a unitary constitution where the states, like children, simply go to Abuja at the end of every month to collect food. They cannot even feed themselves. Is it not an utter shame that the descendants of the Oyo empire, Kanem-Bornu empire,
Benin empire, and so on, have to go cap in hand to Abuja, collecting allocation that cannot even pay workers’ salaries when the traditional system which guaranteed full employment and a decent standard of living can be recreated through proper federalism like we had in the First Republic?

In the USA, it was the states that came together to form the central/federal government currently headed by Barrack Obama.
In Nigeria, it was the Centre or Federal Government that created the states for political reasons and to achieve what the eminent Igbo scholar, Chinweizu, refers to as Caliphate Colonialism a system whereby some people are born to rule.
This is quite simply an aberration, and our consideration of farmers/herdsmen’s clashes must thus begin from this context.
If we have a federal republic that is nothing but a sham, a big fraud, why then are we surprised that a group of Boko Haram members masquerading as herdsmen have been terrorising innocent farmers across the country?
If, for instance, there is state police, would the herdsmen have found it easy to attack farmers, rape women and slaughter them afterwards, burn down entire villages, and even carry out major robberies on major highways while the security agencies look the other way?
For how long shall we have Chief Security Officers (governors) of states who do not even have the police under their control?
By the way, what manner of security officer does not even have a gun in his possession? Can a person who cannot organise his own security protect others?
Before you think that I am exaggerating, consider this: between 2010 and 2013, according to a report, Fulani herdsmen killed about 80 people.
However, by 2014, they had slaughtered 1,229 people. When you consider the Global Terrorism Index, you discover that Fulani herdsmen are not Number Four on the list of the deadliest terror groups in the world.
Boko Haram, of course, takes the first position. As noted by a recent report, over 2,000 people were killed in conflicts between the herdsmen and different host communities in 2015 alone.

In comparison, the regular Boko Haram kills 2,500 people annually.
In a situation where a group of supposed herdsmen carry sophisticated weapons and wipe out entire communities, the unity of the Nigerian nation is indeed threatened.
The argument has been advanced that the herdsmen have become so bold in recent times because the current president happens to be Fulani.
There may be some truth in that, because the history of bloodshed during elections in Nigeria proves clearly that Nigeria is a very divided country, with people being prepared to shed blood in order for their kinsman to win.
A lot of people celebrate former President Goodluck Jonathan for his exemplary conduct during the 2015 general election.
However, we need to ask: for how long can we continue to live in a country where some people must either have their way, or blood will flow?
I ask this question because the farmers/herdsmen’s clashes in Nigeria have its roots in the sharp divisions among the ethnic groups in the country.
If we were all united and put Nigeria first, we would have risen as one man and condemned the genocide in Agatu land in Benue State.
Did we? Did the nation rise as one man or woman to condemn the atrocities of the Fulani herdsmen who always undermine the kindness of their hosts and unleash violence on them?

In Brazil, South Africa, USA, etc, cattle are not allowed to roam freely in town; neither do herdsmen carry out genocide because there is a truly federal system with city governance, state governance and federal governance and their related security systems in place.
It is time, therefore, to drop the nomadic way of life. It is simply unsustainable.
The economic side
Dr Bukola Saraki, while serving as governor of Kwara State, introduced the Shongai farms where foreign investors carried out modern animal husbandry.
The cattle were, and still are, being produced in a ranch, and they are far better than the ones raised through the nomadic system.
I have been informed that while cattle reared through the nomadic system may not be more than 250 kg in weight, cattle raised in Shongai and other ranches often weigh as much as 750kg, Cattle ranching therefore brings more profit.
It is even cheaper in the long run than the nomadic system which is operated through the blood and sweat of farmers across the country.
Ranches provide cattle with a decent environment in which to thrive, with water, doctors, etc, all available.
On the other hand, the nomadic system simply puts the cattle through stress, and is a form of animal abuse, or disregard for animal life and welfare. On another level, how do we attain food security and sufficiency when farmers are under threat?
How can we attain the Sustainable Development Goals when food production is under threat? Nomadic cattle rearing create ethnic divisions and tensions, and is a criminal system which allows terrorists to commit murder and genocide as their lordship pleases.

Conclusion
Those of us who attended the 2014 National Conference know that Nigeria cannot make any progress without implementing the report of that conference.
For instance, the report deals extensively with how to eradicate the herdsmen/farmers’ clashes.
Other recommendations of the Confab that require urgent implementation include the introduction of State Police, control of Solid Mineral by states where they are domicile, control of the Supreme Court by States, adoption of the French Presidential system of government, voluntary merger of states that so desire, Creation of Zonal Constitution, creation of more local government by states, federating units to participate in resource extraction and reduction of items on exclusive list.
More fundamentally, it points the way forward for Nigeria. And that way forward is federalism.
Let us go back to what we had in the First Republic, a system whereby the component units of this country would control their own resources and determine how to live their lives and what form of government to operate.
If we do this, we will have a decisive framework for dealing with issues such as the one addressed in this brief lecture.
Until the report is implemented, we will just be going round in circles and life in Nigeria will continue to be nasty, short and brutish.
The time to change our path is NOW.
Thanks for listening.

Members of the Islamic sect, Boko Haram, on Friday night, stormed the village of Kimba in Gur ward of Biu Local Government Area of Borno State, killing 13 people and abducting eight others.

The attack, which took place at about 8:30 p.m., was said to be the sixth in that area lately.

"They burnt down our houses, killed our brothers and abducted our women and a child. We are close to Sabon Gari and there are soldiers there, but they could not come to our rescue.

"Many people were wounded. About 17 are currently being treated in Biu. We have lost 13 people and they took eight with them." Umar Sani, a resident, told Tribune Online on phone.

According to him, the Boko Haram militant invaded the village in their usual characteristics chanting "Allahu Akbar!"

"We were about visiting one of our relations whose son got married when we heard gunshots and thought the soldiers were the ones shooting, but it persisted. At that time, they were just coming into the village, and before we could understand what was happening, they were already setting houses ablaze and we began to run for our lives," he added.

"I slept in Sabon Gari. We informed the soldiers, but they did not go to the village until this morning. For now, I can confirm to you that 13 people were killed and eight people were abducted, seven women and one boy," he added http://tribuneonlineng.com/boko-haram-kills-13-abducts-8-women-child-in-borno-village

What is our problem in this country? We are the same set of people asking the govt to repair, now they have done that we are still shouting that the refinery is analogue based. Will the government be able to give a digitally controlled refinery that will equally satisfied those conditions under 7months.
I think criticism should be constructive and not otherwise.
The OP actually have some mischief up his sleeves when posting this article

Try to get the OP right what he is trying to say is that if you win election with propaganda you can not rule with propaganda. This govt claims that Kaduna refinery is producing 3.5M litres/day just yesterday not knowing that the refinery is obsolete and can not even refine Nigeria crude oil....the worst to happen to Nigeria now is to start importing crude oil again from which ever country..….this is not about wailing or hate for Buhari but statement of fact, this govt should face reality , before lai or lie comes out to say is Jonathan that is making them to buy crude oil from Venezuela grin grin

Many will find this difficult to believe but Naij.com can confirm it that the Oodua People’s Congress (OPC) just had a Christmas carol This will be the first of its kind since the formation of the Yoruba ethnic group agitation organisation. The maiden edition of OPC Christmas carol and nine lessons of Christmas was held at the All Season plaza, Agidingbi, Ikeja, Lagos on Wednesday, December 23The carol was organised under the auspices of Gani Adams Foundation and this will come as a surprise to many who believed the organization is a traditional one and thus practices only traditional religion.

Otunba Adams disclosed that all religious believes come from God and that OPC has members from all religions thus the need to celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ with the Christians too.

The main sermon of the carol service was delivered by Pastor Olaide Kalia of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG) Agunlejika, Ijesa, Lagos. The truth is that no government can achieve stable electricity in Nigeria by either giving billions of Naira to PHCN or using a body language, because some government officials and their relatives makes more money from the darkness either by selling generating set or fuel to be sold at the filling stations and most of this type of business are owned by either politicians or their relatives. Nevertheless, PMB body Language can not solve power problem, the only solution is just one policy statement which is " Buildings without Prepaid meter are exempted from paying bills " since the senate has move against the collection of N750 service charge even if u lock ur door and travel for years this move is a good idea and it will make the policy work,(1) PHCN will be forced to install prepaid meter for all (2) they will be forced to generate power to make money from these meters (3) the era of crazy bill will die a natural death (4) Consumer will not bother themselves calling PHCN for faulty transformer or faulty power outage ..... But this policy statement might be difficult to make because most people that bought PHCN are those that sponsors politician to power....
Education54 Millions Nigerians Are Illitrarate by slaughter(op): 12:26pm On Sep 10, 2015
Of Nigeria’s 180 million people, the number of illiterate Nigerians is estimated at 54 million, revealed the Federal Government yesterday. The Acting Permanent Secretary, Federal Ministry of Education, Hindatu Abdullahi, presented the figures at the flag-off of the 2015 International Literacy Day celebration, and called for concerted efforts to improve the negative trend.

Recently, the United Nations Educational Scientific and Cultural Organisation (UNESCO) announced that over 757 million adults worldwide still lacked basic literacy skills, with about two-third of them being women, mostly from Nigeria and other third-world countries.

Director-General of UNESCO, Irina Bokova, in her message to mark the 2015 International Literacy Day, lamented that the number of out-of-school children and adolescents was on the rise, standing at 124 million worldwide.

Nigeria, in 2000, joined other countries to commit to the six Education For All (EFA) goals and later the Millennium Development Goals (MDGs), which had 2015 as deadline for achieving their set targets.

“Regrettably, a global review of achievements and challenges of EFA since inception shows that some of the targets remain unattained, especially in many countries in Sub-Saharan Africa, including Nigeria,” said Abdullahi.

According to her, the 2013/2014 Global Monitoring Report (GMR) showed that countries like Brazil, China, Indonesia have attained 90 per cent literacy rate, while Egypt and India had about 70†to 89 per cent. Nigeria, Bangladesh and Pakistan had literacy rate of less than 70 per cent.

She noted that past governments generally gave more attention and resources to formal education programmes than the non-formal sub-sector, which accounted for a larger number of illiterate adults and out-of-school youths.

Reacting to this, Ms Bokova called for more investment and effective policies to embed action for literacy within wider development policies. She also urged Nigeria authorities to prioritise education, as this would bring about sustainable development across the country.

If the world thinks in Gani Adams' way, then the world must have forgotten it ever existed. The word used on Tinubu by the OPC leader is not just unfair but has shown the Adams' lacks leader skills and knows absolutely nothing on what a "Leader" is.
Tinubu  has proved himself in all ways that his a leader and a true leader. His selflessness gave birth to the change we are celebrating today, Jagaban's idea brought joy and happiness to Nigerians even when Gani Adams allowed himself to be used as an agent of anti democracy just for the sake of money. The OPC leader denied and deceived the Yorubas for contracts and dollars received from the last administration ignoring the pains Nigerians suffered in Jonathan's admistration.
Gani Adams is a man after his pocket and not in the interest of Odua People's congress or yorubas at large . The likes of Gani should be snubbed as his desperately in need of cheap firm with the name of the hero of democracy Asiwaju Bola Tinubu. PoliticsTransparency Int’l Rates President Jonathan Govt As Best, Says Buhari, Obasanjo by slaughter(op): 12:07pm On Jul 05, 2015
According to Transparency International’s data from 1979 till date, the tenures of both General Muhammadu Buhari and former President Olusegun Obasanjo were more corrupt than the tenure of President Goodluck Jonathan.
The data also showed that under the administration of President Jonathan, Nigeria has recorded its best score in the Corruption Perception Index (CPI) since 1979. This is in complete contrast to the sordid picture of rampant corruption being painted by the opposition, ardent critics of the Jonathan administration and much of the media in the last few years – especially in the build up to the general elections.
But the point that the figures from Transparency International make so clearly is that, in comparative terms, Nigeria is actually much less corrupt today, and perceived globally to be much less corrupt today, than it has been in the last 35 years – including under the regimes of General Buhari and President Obasanjo, both of who wear the toga and chant the mantra of anti-corruption. Shockingly, according to the TI data, President Obasanjo’s first tenure had the worst scale of corruption during the 35 years period between 1979 and 2015.
The TI Corruption Perception Index is a rating of countries from 1 to 100 showing their corruption scale. A rating of 1 is the worst and rating of 100 means a country is completely free of corruption. The pass mark is 50 and any country scoring below 50 is considered a corrupt country.
In the year 2000, Nigeria was ranked the most corrupt country in the world – and improved marginally in 2001 and 2003 when it was rated the second most corrupt nation in the world in the TI’s Corruption Perception Index. This was certainly not under the watch of President Jonathan.
Since 2012, Nigeria has made steady improvements in the CPI. Indeed, under President Jonathan, for the first time in decades, Nigeria is not in the list of 1-10 most corrupt countries in the world.
In the 2014 Transparency International’s Corruption Perception Index, issued in December, Nigeria was ranked 136 out of 175 countries surveyed in the report. This ranking placed Nigeria, alongside five other countries, as the 39th most corrupt country in the world. This is Nigeria’s best ranking in the last four years.
With this ranking, Nigeria leapfrogged eight countries within a space of one year – from the 31st most corrupt nation in 2013 to the 39th in 2014. This may be regarded by cynics as a small achievement: but it represents a big step in the right direction.
Indeed, the administration of President Jonathan deserves some commendation for the positive steps it has taken, and the modest achievements it has made so far, in the war against corruption – rather than the vengeful knocks it is receiving from various quarters.

Two Tenures of Office for Governors and Presidents as a Constitutional Provision
It is pertinent to mention here that the constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria mandatorily makes the offices of the Governor and that of the President as the only two executive offices with a maximum of two tenures of four (4) years each tenure.
The six Geo-Political Zones and Rotational Presidency
The six geo-political zones were created primarily for the rotation of the office of the president among the six geo-political zones. Therefore, each zone becomes “President Personified”, entitled to two tenures of four (4) years each tenure. Thus, the two tenure entitlement of the South-South geo-political zone to the presidency has now been forcefully truncated just after one tenure. Please Note!
The Zoning Philosophy in Nigeria
I am an apostle of the zoning philosophy because it is only by it that our children even those yet unborn in the South-South geo-political zone which is a minority area zone can aspire to the highest office and other lucrative offices in the land. I have written all that needs must be written in a lucid language on the topic captioned above and so I do not intend to dwell on it again here. I can only refer anyone interested, to my write-up captioned, “THE TRUE SPIRIT AND APPLICATION OF THE ZONING PHILOSOPHY” which is at www.nairaland.com I authenticate all that it carries.
Suffice it to say here that those who pretend not to like the application of the zoning system, (1) do not wish Nigeria well; (2) are only postponing the evil day; (3) should rest assured that there is a danger of a break-up looming in the horizon of Nigeria’s landscape if not in this generation, then in generations to come unless all orchestrations by the major ethnic groups to permanently marginalize the minority South-South geo-political zone which produces and will by the grace of God continue to produce the bulk of the nation’s wealth, diversification or no diversification, are nipped in the bud right now. According to Hajia Mohammed of Kano speaking on Fact File of Ray power on Monday 6/4/2015 who said and I quote, “Though Northerners are considered introverts, you can push a people to the wall and when you push a people to the wall, they will fight back” unquote.
Let us learn from what is happening in Ukraine as it can happen anywhere else and be sober, understanding, loving, flexible, accommodating, not being oppressive, not being violent, all of which are vital and necessary ingredients for happy and mutual co-existence but all of which appear elusive among ethnic groups in Nigeria.
A Clarion Call on President Goodluck Ebele Jonathan and the National Assembly
I give glory to the Almighty God who has used the incumbent President, Dr. Goodluck Ebele Jonathan to enthrone His peace that passeth all understanding in our nation, Nigeria, despite all the glaring political betrayal by the Northern big wigs of his party, the PDP against him. To Him, God Alone, be all the glory. We celebrate Him (God).
I therefore pray the Almighty God to further use the same incumbent President Dr. Goodluck Ebele Jonathan and the National Assembly to enthrone yet a greater peace that will save Nigeria permanently from disintegration now or in the future by prevailing on President Goodluck Ebele Jonathan to sign into Law as part of the constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, the recommendations of the defunct CONFAB which recommendations have received the amendment and the nod of the National Assembly as well as the approval of the Federal Executive Council (FEC), before leaving office. By this act, the zoning philosophy would have been enshrined in the constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria and the South-South geo-political zone which is absolutely a minority area zone would be assured that the highest office of the land would be accessible by its citizens as provided for, in the constitution under the rotational presidency of the zoning philosophy among the six geo-political zones. It would have become a right to claim if short changed and NOT a privilege from any major ethnic groups or group. Signing the recommendations of the CONFAB into law, will be the greatest, far-reaching and most beneficial legacy to Nigeria and indeed to Nigerians that President Goodluck Ebele Jonathan and the National Assembly would have left on the sands of time and in the annals of Nigeria’s political history.
Unnecessary and Avoidable Recurrent Loss of Lives and Property
The penchant for violence adopted by our political leaders as a weapon for power-shift from any of the major political zones to the other must be condemned and nipped in the bud. Fathers and elders of this nation must rise up to condemn this ugly situation and advise our politicians that zoning, especially the presidency is the best if not the only panacea for a happy and enduring co-existence in Nigeria and that rotational Presidency carries with it a vital watchword, “PATIENCE”. Where are the Shagaris of this nation, a man who understood the zoning philosophy so well and was the first President in Nigeria to apply zoning perfectly in his administration 1979 – 1983? Why keep thou quiet on this zoning issue that is tearing our nation apart and making Nigerian leaders look stupid in the eyes of the world. Where are the EKWEMES? Why must it be “me or us now or NEVER” and throwing caution to the wind.
It must be realized that no individual or any ethnic group has monopoly to violence. Having been united by Providence under a common identity called Nigeria, it is expedient that we live in love and in peace. PATIENCE is the watchword. How many times shall citizens be running back to their states of origin from their places to abode?–at every federal election? How many times shall we be experiencing the wanton destruction of thousands of lives and property as a consequence of loss in election? Is it at every federal election? How many times shall the world fret over presidential elections in Nigeria? How many electoral peace pacts shall we keep signing at every presidential election in Nigeria?
Only the rotational zoning of the presidency has the answer. When it rotates to any geo-political zone, the opposing major political zone must patiently wait for that zone to complete its two terms tenure of eight (cool years being four (4) years each tenure before expecting a power-shift. There is enough in Nigeria
Nigeria is blessed with stupendous natural resources wealth and uncommon human resources. Our challenge is corruption and how to harness and manage these God-given vital resources. We must appreciate the fact that there is no “chosen messiah” anywhere in Nigeria, who alone and or only, can harness and manage these resources to fix the problems of Nigeria. But with the rotational zoning system, every geo-political zone, will bring out the best in her to contribute his quota of knowledge (expertise) and experience and with time, Nigeria will attain the height that other advanced nations have reached and even exceed. For example, the “Electronic-wallet for farmers” developed under the President Goodluck Jonathan administration in Nigeria is said to be the first of its kind in the world and has saved Nigeria billions of Naira fraud that was rampant in the distribution of fertilizers and seedlings to farmers in every planting season in the agricultural sector. Other countries now copy Nigeria. The African Union has said that African countries should adopt the e-wallet system. The World Bank also has agreed to extend e-wallet system to other African countries.

Patience is the vital WATCH-WORD, for Rotational Presidency.
Tempest Knows No Identity
They who sow the wind, more often than not, always reap the tempest which often clears everything on its course-way without regard for the identities of persons and objects. The PDP had bastardized the zoning system in 2011 when they brought a baby and bathed the baby in a tub against expectations but instead of carrying the baby out of the tub to towel and clothe the baby, they left the baby in the cold bath water in the tub but the baby survived and even excelled. Then came 2014 when the campaigns for the soul of NIGERIA in 2015 began. Believing that the PDP needed an enlightenment on the working of the zoning system, I came up with my article titled, “The True Spirit and Application of the zoning philosophy”(visit www.nairaland.com) in which I postulated a holistic way of bringing back on course the zoning system which was bastardized in 2011 and posted it online at www.nairaland.com. Instead of studying the postulation clinically and asking questions if need be, and adopting it, the Northern PDP governors and their Northern National and State leaders of the PDP, decided to plot a palace coup as the shortest and quickest way of hijacking the Presidency to the North and in the process threw the baby and the bath water in the tub away by teleguiding the casting of their votes for the APC in the Presidential election of March 28, 2015.
After they had made sure that the region voted APC except Plateau and Taraba in the Presidential election of March 28, the Northern PDP governors and their legislators and leaders, were still very confident, basking in a false euphoria that the party would bounce back in subsequent elections meaning that the Northern PDP governors and their State Assembly members would bounce back as PDP elected governors and PDP State Assembly legislators, forgetting that they had sown a consuming wind.
The tempest did come at last on April 11, 2015 and without mercy, swept all the Northern PDP governors and the PDP State Assembly members away from their exalted thrones and abodes except Gombe and Taraba PDP governors who were returned as PDP governors elected. Even Plateau state that voted for PDP in the Presidential election of March 28, lost their PDP governor to the APC. The tsunami eventually swept them all away along with the incumbent President Goodluck Ebele Jonathan whom they betrayed thereby leaving the PDP political party in shreds and in a state of deadly coma and who shall resuscitate it?
PoliticsFour Policemen Arrested For Killing Pipeline Protector In Ogun by slaughter(op): 5:18pm On May 18, 2015
Detectives in Ogun State Police Command have arrested four policemen, who on Sunday shot an operative of Global Concept Limited, one of the companies licensed by the Federal Government to protect pipelines, in Sagamu area of the South-West state. The deceased (Musibau Jimoh) and others were escorting two vandals arrested in Arepo area of the state by men of Donyx Global Concept Limited and their seized vehicles to the office of the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC) depot in Mosinmi, Shagamu when the incident occurred. At Sagamu junction, they were accosted by one of the policemen, who allegedly ordered Jimoh to release the impounded vehicles and the arrested suspects to the police team. He refused, leading to a shouting match and he was shot in the process. When the policeman realised that he had killed Jimoh, he escaped by shooting into the air. Members of the police team were later arrested and held at Iperu Road Police Station in Sagamu Jimoh’s colleague, Temitope Odunsi, who was in the bus with him, said: “Jimoh brought out his identification card, which was given to us by our company and NNPC and was explaining to them when one of them snatched it from him and ordered him to stop talking. An argument ensued and one of them shot him at a very close range and he died on the spot. “We started noticing them at Sagamu interchange but because we could see that they were policemen, we continued with our journey. When we got to the junction that leads to Sagamu, they crossed our vehicle and pointed their rifles at us, asking us where we were going and we explained to them. They insisted that we must surrender the vandals and the product to them but because we don’t know them, we tried to explain that we were going to hand them over to the police at NNPC depot as we have been doing in the past ” General Manager of Global Concept Limited, Femi Ekundayo, described the incident as callous and wicked.
