The timid guy just sits down behind his fone and types nonsense, he has no experience whatsoever but will dictate to those that have experience

whatever you call yourself(dru or drunice), you lack a sense of direction and common sense

For you to have even asked the 'harmless' question did enough harm to your burgeoning ignorance.

Displaying your ignorance is not wrong as long as you learn in the process, no one knows it all olodo

Keep quiet there, I only asked a harmless question, see as e carry the matter for head like say e dey sell gala for traffic

Nah d tin b dat, no cooperation.... Imagine going 15mins on a 5 mins trip, no sense in that atall

He doesn't need to co-operate, he's just one man and cannot meet the entire demand by riders, once 70% of drivers can co-operate then all is set

I hardly comment on this post, but I've think through this and I feel it's necessary to share, when it comes to profitability Taxify is far better and the riders are getting to know uber is cheap compare to taxify. I use both app, but with the way things are going uber may have egde if ruiders prefer them because of their cheap rate... But to make things flow better, no matter the situation, drivers should stick to taxify, when riders find it hard to get ride on uber, they have no choice but to use taxify.

Its so pathetic when riders dash out money with pity "its to cheap".

I saw a uber drivers forum online and the members are American uber drivers and you need to see how they were lamenting about the ridiculous cheap rates on uber, Some riders laugh when you tell them the fare and shake their head in pity, car owners and uber are partners and it's so shameful that uber have decided to cheat it's partners, have been doing only taxify for the past two weeks now and it's better, am done with uber I mean you put your car on the road and take risks everyday, the wear and tear of the car is your burden infact you are taking the major risk while they just sit down in the comfort of their office and charge 25% after all the stress you have through, If its possible and drivers can co-operate I beleive we can all boycott uber and show them that they are nothing without the drivers

I've not driven on uber/taxify since this year. I've been busy with other business. I still read comments here and i hv some uber/taxify friends who keep me posted. I learnt request has drop drastically. I know it will come to that and even worst. Uber started very well. 2006 cars with exam b4 u can drive on uber. Taxify came, uber became scared and drop cars to 2000 model even d exam people now write for drivers. Taxify collect any how drivers once u can drive. The standard is bastardized. Taxify don't have standard at all. Gone are those days when u see graduates and A'level drivers on uber platform. I hope they bring back that standard b4 it get worst.

I agree totally with you

Good for you bro. The word bastard is not a bad word now. It means a person that does not have a father now abi. So if you look at it. If you look at it , your father gets old and dies at 100 years old . What does that make you ? You are a bastard now in that context. A poor bastard than and been poor bastard would u have money to bury him ? So for me if given a choice , I rather be a wealthy bastard o. At least I will be able to care for my family. You bitch ass n@:/+r.

Bastard means a child born of parents not married to each other or a despicable child born out of an illegitimate relationship not one who looses his father, can you see that you display your ignorance in public and won't humble yourself to learn, the more reason why you need to be adopted and re-groomed

You're still not getting the point Sir.

Being an uber driver does not make you a poor person or a second class citizen. Also being an uber driver does not mean you're not a car owner. Being an uber driver or a partner is not mutually exclusive Sir.

So some of us just catching fun at the level of ignorance being spilled on here. grin

And for the record, I'll rather not be a bastard of any form by ridiculing the honest hard work my parent went through in order to get me quality education. shocked

Thank you for this comment, the guy is just too ignorant and he won't humble himself to learn, I wish I can adopt him and teach him about life

There is nothing to be ashamed of here. Driving is a honourable proffesion. Imagine in 25 years time someone trying to use my driving now to score cheap points against my son.

Makes no sense.

You are right, am a driver also and am proud of it, but you need to see his earlier comment and the way he referred to drivers like they are nothing

dru23 ignore these drivers, they want to force their opinion on u.

Make them go oga taxi go collect car nah.

Uber were wat billions refuse to buy cars, despite huge shortage of vehicles, choose to pay 50k referral.

I hav checked ogataxi FB, Twitter, and website no such offer.

If it's that easy walk into any micro finance bank and get a loan.

Since the options investors here are offering is slavery.

What is the difference between you and drivers? We are all made of flesh and blood, you can die today and be in a freezer while the driver will still be living and enjoying life, learn to guard your mouth, I know you very well and your father drove to sponsor you through school, you can deny it on this platform but like I said I know you very well, don't insult your father indirectly

I don't talk to peasants..... Once you can afford to have more cars than me on the platform. Than we can have a conversation. You have never been to places that have been to bro. That is fact

I have a corolla I gave to a driver and another corolla I drive on weekends aside having a 9-5 pm job, I am not a lazy driver, it's such a shame that a lowlife like you think that travelling outside the country and hustling makes you a made man, I pity the womb that carried you for 9months, just being outside the country does not make you exposed if your thinking faculty is deficient in the required nutrients, Like i said earlier I have 2 cars in uber which migth not be up to the number of sub-standard cars you have but my investment is not in uber alone, you are so childish that you can't see beyond your Michael Jackson plastic nose , I have learnt from the likes of carshopper , gazzuzz, Romeo, ogunvic and so many other frequent contributors on this platform because am a good listener and appreciate people than know better than me but as for you I beleive a cadava is better than you

I don’t care how long or how much a driver makes. How many times do you want me to repeat myself.
My own narrative is my drivers will be on a 70/30 EARN AS YOU GO and not some current market pricing weekly block payment, that way everyone is on checkmate.

Yes I am entitled to protect my investment and if you see it as an obsession so be it. I did not come to beg money from you.
When you Nigerians don’t have any sensible way to argue your case, you start the name calling....greedy and envious hahahahaha, same archaic emotional blackmail you id#ots throw around. Same way Nigerian girls call you broke ass stingy nig#a when they are not able to milk you, does that sound familiar to you now.

Now run and go get your 1m ready.

Guy shut up and get a lufe

It's getting really boring in here.

All this discussion will not make weekly deliver more than 40k or less than 35.

Can we let people share THEIR experiences and not their opinion of who should earn what?

Thanks for the retort. The Nigerian stupidity is gradually forcing me to start commenting on this thread. Ive been reading over 60 pages quietly, preparatory to becoming involved in the biz, but I just couldn't cope today. Let me put on my activist cap and repeat: all of Nigeria's problems are caused and perpetuated by the Nigerian people. Their worldview is emblematic of savage, pre-1500 human beings. We shouldn't even be allowed to drive cars (a 19th century invention) in this country

Are you a Nigerian? If the answer is yes then you should shut up and find a way to profer a solution to a problem rather than sitting on the sideline and whinning like a sisi, am tired of Nigerians talking about what is wrong, we already know what is wrong young man, the question is what can you do about it, you have been reading over 60 pages and am sure you will continue reading up to 1000 pages without taking any action

So there is a storm? I didn't known, it seems to me only a handful are complaining of low request. Good cars will only survive no matter what. Have learn my lesson stick to cars that are at least 07 upwards. If the market is saturated the riders will be very picky. You guys that have cars below 07 I don't known how you people do it. My elantras are doing great

Dru finally made sense for the first time in his life, Nice one my guy, you are getting there
