Forcados means forced or enslaved. That was where Ika slaves were bought from their Benin and Itsekiri masters for onward exportation to plantations in Americas and Europe. |

Age doesn't show anything and I didn't move into Nairaland today. So you want to dig up posts by trolls to prove your point. Are you for real? If what people are posting here was that important I would have stopped talking to people from Abia state by now. I didn't even know it is Nairaland banter you are talking about. Okwa ima na ijiro okwu dịanyi? Okay. I done comot hand for your matter. Ride on sir. |

Is it a lie that pals from mbaise,Ngwa ,Wawa and some others are habitually insulted by fellow igbo's even till today ? There have been progress but it's appallingly poor.

I think there is a need to now properly identify every unique group under the wrongfully ascribed Yoruba umbrella. Tribes should be allowed to be distinct and chart their unique course and not have their identities gagged under a fictitious "Yoruba" tag. |

Klinee: Ogurugu, Igga and others are actually Igala speaking part of Enugu state. Ogurugu is located at the coastal basin of river Anambra towards the north. Just enter boat at Otuocha move towards the north you will get to Ogurugu river port. Though they are Igala speakers but they are bilingual in the sense that, they're fluent in Igbo language especially nsukka dialect. The town was actually formed by a notorious Igala warrior ONOJA nwa OBONI(Onoja the son of OBONI) during Colonial and Slave era SMH |

Your problem is that you don't have anything engaging Okrika nation on a serious note online. If you did you won't be on every Igbo thread like this one insulting Igbos. We will give you something to think about. We are aware that Okrika is Igbo but we the Igbo nation have not beamed our searchlight on Okrika to find out the sweet facts. We will from henceforth be opening the Okrika Igbo history chapter going forward. Thanks for your understanding. |

I am beginning to see the use of using maps to explain some situations like AfricanColumbus does. Like now, though I know Nsukka I can't tell in what direction this Ogurugu is at all. Assuming there was a google map screenshot I would even go there and see for myself sometime.
I will start using maps too to help people understand. |
