childofGod09: You are very wrong. My wife is absolutely beautiful. Slim with curves in wright places, natural long dark hair all the way down her back. She has beautiful face and loving eyes. Her skintone is lightly brown as her granny is of Asian stock. When black men see us by themselves they always say brother you've done well has she got a sister. Your wife is fine. Even in front of me the men are checking her. She birthed three children but her body is an excellent shape. It is only black women and black men who are passing us with their black women are doing this. It is like those black women are feeling insecure when they see us and try to mock us with their black men so those men don't feel tempted to get beautiful white wife like mine. Mind you those women are overweight, with fake hair glued to their heads and shabby dressed while my wife is dressed very well in clean freshly washed and ironed clothes, her hair freshly washed and styled, my wife is very clean she showers 2-3 times a day, smells delicious from lotion and nice perfume. Those women seems very jealous and that my be the reason. God is not pleased with their hatred for the innocent woman like my wife who never did nothing wrong to them. They should not treat her that way. she works in the medical profession, showers 3x daily and executes her housewife duties perfectly? You are either married to a Dr.Grey/mary poppins/martha stewart human amalgam or high on quality weed. can I get your dealer's contact? 26 Likes |

childofGod09: My wife is from Slovakia. We have been married for 11 years, together for 16 years and have 3 beautiful children. She cooks all Nigerian dishes, she works in medical field and still manages to keep the house spotless, children in excellent order. She is a Godly woman beautiful from outside and inside and my relatives love her and . Her relatives also welcomed me with joy. We live in London and getting constantly belittled, hisses, mocked by black women and also by black couples just on the street or in supermarket... even in the church.Majority of these unsavory characters are Nigerian or other African. This is very sad how black people can have so much hatred for people like us because we love each other and did not choose to marry someone from the same country, or out of hatred for people who are different in appearance. Lot of black men marry women from same tribe and hate any other women in process and mock them. That is not love. I love and respect my white wife but I do not hate black women as my mother, sisters and other relatives are black. We teach our children both cultures Igbo and Slovakian. You kind of expect some racial hatred from white people but black people treat us worst. Why so much hate? bia nwokem, that is your problem not ours. We are at war with terrorism and ebola. barcanista: I don't see the reason for the advancement of the "Whiteman's tradition" over our ancestral customs. As a Proud Ijawman, I am first loyal to Ijaw Custom than to any foreign tradition in the name of "statutory". When It comes to Marriage, I shall marry according to my custom which will be held sacred and will encourage my children to do same. According to my Custom, the wife becomes a daughter to the man's family. She's fully integrated and enjoys all the care and protection from the Man's family. She even take part in the Inheritance of the Man's deceased parent(s) just like any child/son of the family provided that she is married according to our customs and traditions. The Children do not only enjoy the privileges of their father's wealth but also take part in the sharing of family wealth irrespective of the gender. In fact, the wife is more favored than the immediate offsprings of the Parents-inlaws (At least my Mum is a case study). thats cool |

Health / 10 Benefits Of Drinking Warm Lemon Water Everyday by sleekch1c(f): 5:59pm On Aug 04, 2014 |
There are many health benefits of lemons that have been known for centuries. The two biggest are lemons’ strong antibacterial, antiviral, and immune-boosting powers and their use as a weight loss aid because lemon juice is a digestive aid and liver cleanser. Lemons contain many substances–notably citric acid, calcium, magnesium, vitamin C, bioflavonoids, pectin, and limonene–that promote immunity and fight infection. HOW TO DO IT: You should be using purified water and it should be lukewarm not scalding hot. You want to avoid ice cold water, since that can be a lot for your body to process and it takes more energy to process ice cold water than the warm. Always use fresh lemons, organic if possible, never bottled lemon juice. I squeeze 1/2 a lemon with each glass and I drink it down first thing before I eat a single thing, or workout, etc. 10 Benefits to Drinking Warm Lemon Water Every Morning 1) Aids Digestion. Lemon juice flushes out unwanted materials and toxins from the body. It’s atomic composition is similar to saliva and the hydrochloric acid of digestive juices. It encourages the liver to produce bile which is an acid that is required for digestion. Lemons are also high in minerals and vitamins and help loosen ama, or toxins, in the digestive tract. The digestive qualities of lemon juice help to relieve symptoms of indigestion, such as heartburn, belching and bloating. The American Cancer Society actually recommends offering warm lemon water to cancer sufferers to help stimulate bowel movements. 2) Cleanses Your System / is a Diuretic. Lemon juice helps flush out unwanted materials in part because lemons increase the rate of urination in the body. Therefore toxins are released at a faster rate which helps keep your urinary tract healthy. The citric acid in lemons helps maximize enzyme function, which stimulates the liver and aids in detoxification. 3) Boosts Your Immune System. Lemons are high in vitamin C, which is great for fighting colds. They’re high in potassium, which stimulates brain and nerve function. Potassium also helps control blood pressure. Ascorbic acid (vitamin C) found in lemons demonstrates anti-inflammatory effects, and is used as complementary support for asthma and other respiratory symptoms plus it enhances iron absorption in the body; iron plays an important role in immune function. Lemons also contain saponins, which show antimicrobial properties that may help keep cold and flu at bay. Lemons also reduce the amount of phlegm produced by the body. 4) Balances pH Levels. Lemons are one of the most alkalizing foods for the body. Sure, they are acidic on their own, but inside our bodies they’re alkaline (the citric acid does not create acidity in the body once metabolized). Lemons contain both citric and ascorbic acid, weak acids easily metabolized from the body allowing the mineral content of lemons to help alkalize the blood. Disease states only occur when the body pH is acidic. Drinking lemon water regularly can help to remove overall acidity in the body, including uric acid in the joints, which is one of the primary causes of pain and inflammation. 5) Clears Skin. The vitamin C component as well as other antioxidants helps decrease wrinkles and blemishes and it helps to combat free radical damage. Vitamin C is vital for healthy glowing skin while its alkaline nature kills some types of bacteria known to cause acne. It can actually be applied directly to scars or age spots to help reduce their appearance. Since lemon water purges toxins from your blood, it would also be helping to keep your skin clear of blemishes from the inside out. The vitamin C contained in the lemon rejuvenates the skin from within your body. 6) Energizes You and Enhances Your Mood. The energy a human receives from food comes from the atoms and molecules in your food. A reaction occurs when the positive charged ions from food enter the digestive tract and interact with the negative charged enzymes. Lemon is one of the few foods that contain more negative charged ions, providing your body with more energy when it enters the digestive tract. The scent of lemon also has mood enhancing and energizing properties. The smell of lemon juice can brighten your mood and help clear your mind. Lemon can also help reduce anxiety and depression. 7) Promotes Healing. Ascorbic acid (vitamin C), found in abundance in lemons, promotes wound healing, and is an essential nutrient in the maintenance of healthy bones, connective tissue, and cartilage. As noted previously, vitamin C also displays anti-inflammatory properties. Combined, vitamin C is an essential nutrient in the maintenance of good health and recovery from stress and injury. Freshens Breath. Besides fresher breath, lemons have been known to help relieve tooth pain and gingivitis. Be aware that citric acid can erode tooth enamel, so you should be mindful of this. No not brush your teeth just after drinking your lemon water. It is best to brush your teeth first, then drink your lemon water, or wait a significant amount of time after to brush your teeth. Additionally, you can rinse your mouth with purified water after you finish your lemon water. 9) Hydrates Your Lymph System. Warm water and lemon juice supports the immune system by hydrating and replacing fluids lost by your body. When your body is deprived of water, you can definitely feel the side effects, which include: feeling tired, sluggish, decreased immune function, constipation, lack of energy, low/high blood pressure, lack of sleep, lack of mental clarity and feeling stressed, just to name a few. 10) Aids in Weight Loss. Lemons are high in pectin fiber, which helps fight hunger cravings. Studies have shown people who maintain a more alkaline diet, do in fact lose weight faster. I personally find myself making better choices throughout the day, if I start my day off right, by making a health conscious choice to drink warm lemon water first thing every morning. Ok, finally it came to an end. Good story it is. However, your description of your characters' expression is very poor and downright ridiculous. You made use of the word 'grin' a lot where the characters are supposed to be shocked and flabbergasted. Grin is when you smile widely with your teeth showing like this In the final episodes, folawe walks into tayo's house and you described tayo as being jobless. The man did not lose his job, how then is he jobless? I think the right word to use would be 'idle'. And again, just like the genotype/blood group issue, I expect that as a writer, you should research a bit while writing on some subjects. The 'girl does abortion and damages her womb' tale has become very stale, and a very common scenario in Nigerian movies and stories. Folawe took some medications to terminate the pregnancy. Why and how was it possible it damaged her womb? If you had written that she went to a quack and had complications as a result of the botched abortion or that after taking the medication she later developed an infection that led to her sterility it would have been more credible. Thats all, wishing you all the best. Ps: did you by any chance steal the 'man sleeps with future virgin daughter in law, gets her pregnant and meets her later as son's fiancee' part from this story by glowingscenes https://www.nairaland.com/1296911/nigerian-story-chocolates-sushi ? |
Romance / Re: Women Are Not Always The Problem In Relationships by sleekch1c(f): 12:50pm On Jan 05, 2014 |
Pamcrest: In every relationship, it takes two to tango. We all get caught up in generalizations such as d topic but in reality, every relationship is unique in its workings and character. In some relationships, d woman is d problem while in others, d man is d troubler-in-chief. To each his own! And you posted this to get your points from the boys here? Originalsly: It cut both ways when it comes to cheating...it depends on the circumstances. On the very threads where guys condemn the cheating girl and tell the guy to move on ...do you ever notice the girls do the same? You are biased. Also, the sooner you realize that Men are from Mars and women are from Venus the sooner you will be able to understand and accept the behaviour of men and women on Earth. What is this one on about? @op, you are so right and I think the reason for some men blaming their women when relationships go sour is because the men have been encouraged to be emotionally retarded while expecting the woman to be super mature and work things out even when they seem impossible. ...like one of the posters above me said, blame it on their upbringing. A relationship/ marriage should be between two adults who shld work 2geda to make things right and not an adult female and a child in a man's body. 1 Like |
