There's the option of sending the item through a trusted commercial bus driver who commutes to the receiver's region. He delivers the item and returns with your money.

This system is about as fast and efficient as express(dhl etc) with the option of pay on delivery.

It's got its challenges though...one of the biggest being finding a trustworthy driver.

My items were shipped last week wednesday via hongkong and singapore posts. There's no tracking info for them yet. :-(

i used singapost for shipping of one of my orders, since 16th no update.. so you are not alone... i sha have used the above method to recieve goods, but twas a bit different, i had to pay for the goods before goods were shipping by a trusted commercial driver(i was buyin from som1 and dint want to use DHL or tranex for shipping paid 1k sha for shipping)..

i base in abj, so i cant help you much cos of the distance.. did u hack the Ps3 your self... u need to identify the CFW u are on, m guessing its ROGERO, just go online and look for latest CFW, that can install over your current CFW... there is one by habib, rogero, etc

The adaptor shouldn't cost more than a 1500naira... But my oda dimdim has said you wouldn't need it, you should listen to him, cos he's d my oga when it comes to console affairs...
My PS3 was from US sha, I connect it direct.. To clear your doubts, check under ur console(mine is the slim) u you see the volt ratings, if its 220-240V then uar good to go..

Promhize: Hey people, I want to get a Ps3 from the US and I read something about Nigeria using 240volts and US - 140volts.

I googled it and saw that one would have to buy an adapter, my question is do u guys know what type of adapter, cos I google adapter and saw different stuffs from, socket adapters to plug-in extensions. I don't want to buy a Ps3 and have it blown up.

if your ps3 volt rating is 140V, then you need to get a step down adaptor.. you can get a step down transformer from any electrical shop, my mum uses one for her laptop, so its no big deal.. just make sure u neva plug it direct, if so. then its Puff and bye bye ps3....
