Nihilist: 1 assist every 3.3 games is better than all the other names mentioned below Fabregas 336 games 111 assists 3.0 games |

Nihilist: whoscored use opta data and cover multiple leagues. sqwuaka too.
If you need to use transfermarkt, then announce a caveat that their information is not always accurate.
For example TM gave Beckham 22 assists in the EPL. Official EPL website though credit him with 80.
You can see the factual discrepancy. If we are to use opta Beckham 265 games 80 assists KDB 91 games 41 assists We can see the glaring difference here |

Roland17: Lets do the math with facts here and now then.
2017/2018----14
2016/2017----18
2015/2016----9
Equation: 14+18+9=41/3=13.6
However, if we include his season with Chelsea
2017/2018-----14
2016/2017.......18
2015/2016.......9
2013/2014 (Chelsea)---1
Equation: 14+18+9+1=42/4=10.5
In summary KDB has averaged 10.5 assists in his EPL career.
Just saying You mean if we consider a season he played just 3 games before being shipped out? If we simplify it. KDB 91 EPL games 41 assists. 1 assist every 2.2 games Beckham 265 games 80 assists . 1 assist every 3.3 games |

Nihilist: Transfermarkt use fantasy football assists. Let's stick to opta standards I typically use transfermarkt for most of my stats because I can standardize across different leagues |

Roland17: I understand your argument and truthfully, it does sound convincing and I am saying it with all honesty. I am not sure where you are getting your averages from but it is incorrect. He is currently at 14 (would more than likely surpass it), 18 last year and 9 before then. If you do your math, it places him at 13.6 per season and that is a respectable discrepancy when you are speaking of just assists.
I am not questioning KDB's ability or quality here. How many great seasons has KDB had in the EPL? Maybe you are right, 2 seasons are enough to include him in that list after all, Modric only played 3 seasons. You make a good argument for his case anyways. https://www.transfermarkt.com/kevin-de-bruyne/leistungsdatendetails/spieler/88755Thats my source for his assists if you check the bottom right you will see the attached

Nihilist: Beckham only 22 assists fewer than Lampard in the league, and Lampard played around double the number of seasons Beckham did.
Beckham was mainly a winger in England, so it makes senses that Crosses are his main form of pass was the Cross.
Beckham's passing was literally his trademark.
See below, is this not what you will call a KDB pass? Come on man. I will not agree that one with you laiye. Your anti English bias has come again Anti English bias, yet I named Scholes a ginger headed English man as the best passer. Lampard scored a significant amount of goals and his first instict is not to pass but to shoot. All those once in a while Hollywood passes no dey move anyone, In Gerrards collection I am certain he has more of those passes but how consistent was he in making those passes Beckhams cross was the only type of pass that was good every other type, he was mediocre, even Giggs a fellow winger had more variety and better passes |
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: Official Chelsea Fan Thread: Club World Cup Champions 2025-2029 by sleekdot(m): 4:25pm On Feb 27, 2018 |
Roland17: If we are speaking of the best passers in the history of the EPL, then consistency over a long period of time in the EPL is imperative. Consequently, I am ruling KDB out of my list. KDB is having a magnificent season passing the ball under Guardiola, however, this conversation is about "all time" folks who have done it over and over and over again in the EPL and not their entire career.
In no particular order, maybe with Paul Scholes being the exception.
Luka Modric
Paul Scholes
Xabi Alonso
Cesc Fabregas
Santi Carzola
Mesut Ozil
David Beckham
David Silva This is KDBs 3rd season in the EPL and he has 45 assists already. If he doesnt make any more assist before season ends, he will be on average of 15 assists per season in his EPL career. Thats more than what most guys on that list above had in their entire EPL career. E.g Cazordla has only played about 3 seasons in the EPL he has been injured for the past 3 Some weeks back I was seeing KDB assists as highest in Europe in the past like 5 seasons. Any team in Europe KDB enters today, he will be their best midfielder, How many of those above can say the same at their peak. And KdB's biggest strength is his passing KDB averaged 15 assists in the EPL for the past 3 seasons thats assuming he makes no more assist till this season ends. In the past 10 years only Ozil and Fabregas have made more than 15 assists a season |

Nihilist: Guy Beckham dey pass abeg.
No dey disrespect the guy
Ozil, Giggs, Fabregas, Alonso, 20 other people...egbon shey e ya were?
At least Ibime made an important differentiation by separating midfield creators from controllers A cross is just one type of pass and thats the only thing Beckham was good at his short to mid range passes were very poor and this was made very evident at Madrid when he got to Madrid his poor control touches and passes were below the average Madrid player and he was shunted to midfield even in some games to right back You might say it was because of Figo and Zidane, but after those left, Guti was still the go to guy while Beckham was left to do grafting and tackling the job inherited by Lassana diarra and Gravensen left behind |

Ibime: Passing to create goals or passing to control midfield?
Passing to control midfield is Alonso followed by Scholes.
Passing to create goals is KDB followed by Fabregas. Though I didn't think of the distinction between the type of passes I was going with this order Scholes, KDB Fabregas, Ozil Giggs.Alonso........ 20 more people before Beckham |

In the Carabao cup yesterday
9 players who started had the early or part of their football training in Germany
Sane, Gundogan Aubameyang, Kolasinac, Xhaka, Kompany, KDB Ozil Mustafi
A40, Roland17 all those apostles of Bayern weakening the league, Is it really Bayern weakening the league when these teams cannot keep their players and they sell them abroad?
Would the Bundesliga have been better and stronger if Lewandoski, Muller Hummels Boateng Neuer were allowed to also go abroad? |

When will MMM and selling of recharge card buy you properties, marry and have your own family instead of speculating on your agemates own? |
