Question is will OP take responsibility for the girl if things crumble and his friend doesn’t do well in his duties? This same friend let his woman pin his child on someone else.

They better leave that child to grow up without trauma and confusion. They can do whatever reconciliation when the child is an adult. That’s my opinion.
