BAZ001: They blocked you for requesting offline not for going on offline trip ? So it is better to quickly cancel whenever you notice a rider is troublesome so they rider won’t have option of reporting you. Yes sir |

donfortune48: Check your Logic well bro. If you request to go offline for a trip and rider declined and cancel with the option "driver requested for offline". The driver will still be online to take other trips. He won't equally be at the rider's destination.
Again, bolt didn't block the person for going offline for a trip, but for requesting to go offline for it. Whether he succeeded going offline for that trip or not, he's breached Bolt's terms and conditions and can possibly get penalized. 10x for d explanation, who get make him hear. If rider cancel with Option driver request offline ur account will be blocked, then if u accept a request and l8r cancel and dat rider didn't request again and u end up in that destination ur account will be investigated for offline. |

Go and ask pedpa members dat where requesting false trips and also report d driver for offline during the strike those drivers where blocked so best is just simply cancel in time |

SokizzRaven: It’s raining and there is no surge in Lekki phase 1 , I’d rather stay put than drive through those Lekki lagoons for stipends. Meanwhile make I drop this gist here
Yesterday I started the hustle (I started very late though) with a resolution that no matter how tempting an order to mainland is I wouldn’t take it, in the process and amidst other blacklisted destinations my cancellation rate shoot up to 65%. Then I said to myself I have to stop canceling orders now
Few minutes later a request came in, not far from where I parked. Destination Lekki phase1, pick up Cmart admiralty way.
Just before heading to pick up, I called rider I’m outside already (don’t want her delaying me for long for a ride of #500) she said she’ll join me in a minute. Drove down to pick up, still no sign of rider. 5 minutes later I called again, Rider: I’m checking out now I’ll be with you shortly (I was already fuming but I been no wan spoil my gentleman, so I kept it cool)
10 minutes later I called again Rider: I don’t know why this guy is this slow, but I’m next on the queue, will be out soon 5 minutes later still no sign of rider
A thought of zooming off in anger crossed my mind, but then I thought would she really understand the gravity of what she did if I zoomed off? So I made sure my doors was on lock and waited till this daughter of eve came out
Some minutes later, Saw her through my rare mirror checking out my plate for confirmation, then she proceeded to open the back door but oops! It’s locked Came a little forward to the passenger side window to knock, I looked at her with a smiling face and wind down a bit. These were my exact words to her ‘’Oh! You’re finally out (she said sorry bla bla bla....please your door is locked) you see that wait wey you been no wan wait, you go wait am. You wasted my time but it’s fine (she said but I’ve apologized now) It will just be nice to give you a doze of your own medicine’’ Put my gear in reverse and screed off ( saw her standing with her shopping bags, looking at the car in awe through my side mirror) U did well, bt be careful next time because some riders way get craze go report driver requested offline |

And what could be the cause of oil shortage in the the engine? B4 ur mechanic start saying it's engine, tell him or u chk d PCV valve and also any sign of leakage |

Felicity001: Oga this I think is what you seek look for it in ladipo market yourself or any other trusted dealership around. Dru wont have it for you immediately since it's a car you make use of daily cos he may need it for one of his cars any moment.
Better still check in at radautoworks the first turn right immediately after the 2nd toll gate inward ikota/Ajah. The compound that welcomes you after that first turn right is rad auto work. You cant miss it.
The last I checked it was sold for 3 or 4k forgotten the actual amount, you'll be needing about 4-6ltrs of this.
Good luck. Bros dat is 4 Honda automatic transmission, dis is wat he needs Honda CVT transmission fluid

Duke111: I explain this earlier that bolt prefers u take a faster route than anything cos their app dont calculate trip covered and time spent they only use estimate. In situation like this where u are about to take a different route immediately u deviate from the route update the trip from the app, preferably from the rider app to the same destination. Ur fare will be correct. Bro 3rd mainland is way faster Dan going through orile iganmu because if hold u there especially in the morning u must humble by force. And mile 2 allow was under construction so b sure to spend btw 30min-1hr even in d morning bolt don't see all dis bt most times Google maps will tell u |
Business › Re: If You Are Uber Partner In Lagos, Please Share Your Experience Here by Slickleo: 7:05am On Jun 06, 2021 |
Felicity001: This is serious! But I'm not surprise though because bolt is capable of anything.
But if i May ask what type of phone do you use because I've never had a failed trip b4. This is where a good phone GPS comes into play. Not a GPS issue because I do take rider to work every morning to ikoyi so on dat particular day I don't know wat Dy re into. Phone is LG G6 |
Business › Re: If You Are Uber Partner In Lagos, Please Share Your Experience Here by Slickleo: 10:00pm On Jun 05, 2021 |
Pearl1910: That's alot of calculation and notes...u mean u do this before n after each n every trip? Wat I do is wen am waiting for rider I will load the trip destination to get alternative fare review with my formula not d Google maps own. Or Wen am ending trip I immediately do my calculations so wen bolt is loading up the fare I already hv my fare estimation so if it's shorts I do a trip review immediately bt I thank God for always giving riders dat pay there dues even wen we are far apart. Let me give a situation I will never forget, u see bolt don't regard their drivers @ all, a trip from satellite Town to ikoyi is btw 2k-3.5k depends on time spent if u go tru mile2 bt a setting period mile2 was under construction rider requested I go tru cele-gbagada-3rd mainland Wich d fare is around 4.5k-6k depends on traffic so 1 morning I end trip bolt load 2.5k I and rider were shock because no bonus, straight to fare review bolt said d fare was correct 2.5k d 1st time I refuse to accept and pressed on d review bolt nw changed the whole narrative dat I took longer route I replied rider requested for the routes Dy even called rider and he confirmed and even told bolt to reflect correct fare here is the shocker bolt told rider to pay d 2.5k only bolt didn't reflect d fare invoice bt l8r gave me extra 2.5k. So PL always hv idea ur fare price make bolt no shock u. |

SokizzRaven: Yesterday, I took this two ladies from GIGM park at Ajah (close to Abraham Adesanya intersection) to an Estate off Ogombo road (well at least that’s what the bolt app displayed)
On our way, as I approached Abraham Adesanya, I checked Gmap to double check I was taking the right turn then I saw ‘you have arrived’ . For a Sec I was confused (but there is no estate for this intersection now, abi which kind wahala be this) then I took the turn. Just before raising an alarm I decided to check on the map myself with their estate name, (buzz!) na still same location
Then I asked the riders where they’re going to, they explained it’s deep inside ogombo and not here, that it must have been a glitch in the map or something.
So to the reason I am sharing this. I drove like 10min from Abraham Adesanya and like 6min off Ogombo road (note there are no traffic along this route). We got to their destination just before ending the trip, I saw 15min to trip completion. So I asked these ladies to change their destination to a landmark I picked up as we were approaching, them no wan gree o! Saying it’s the first time they will be experiencing this. That no driver as ever complained of their address or anything. I tried educating them on how the bolt algorithm works with Kilometers and time (them no gree listen o)
One of them come cap it all with the fact that they have never paid more than #600 for such trips, I was like what?? 20min of uninterrupted driving for #600? Stop playing with me ( you’ve been reaping a lot of drivers off their sweat it ends today )
Well With so much persuasion, they changed destination to the landmark, trip ended #1700. They were shocked! They frowned o but I made sure I took all my money (wetin concern me). After taking 2 more trips my ratings dropped, I know say na them
My Point is a lot of drivers especially we the new drivers, I not inclusive though (much thanks to this forum for this) still don’t understand how the algorithm works and in turn lose money, then complain of taking to many #500 trips Nice 1, d last time I drove on ehailing was during d pedpa strike Let me share d formula I used den to calculate my money and it has always work both on surge trips and anytime my money was short I always recover it back tru fare review. What I do is B4 I start a trip I check my odometer reading and time I started d trip nw if trip was 15km and 30min, I will multiply 15km X 80.5=1207 then 30min X 11=330 then 1207+330= #1537 if trip was on surge 1.3, den multiply 1537 X 1.3=#1998 So without surge that above method note I didn't add d base fare so my money should be around #2000 or little below or above. Bt if it falls below 1500 am asking for a review and my account is always fill with review and bolt always adjust and I received my money complete. |

ThatNiccur: Them suppose pull shoe wash legs before entering your car? Is it their fault that their legs are muddy? You're rendering a service man and there should be no discrimination between a rider who's feet are muddy and one who isn't.
One of the pointers of delivering a quality service is being nice to riders who respect themselves and act nicely too.
Change your mindset bros Bro u are offside ok, so if na there car dem go enter like dat with muddy legs? no na ehailing is not regular taxi bt ride-sharing, regular taxi billing is higher not only in Nigeria bt all over the world. For eg u just finished washing ur car @ d car wash and u got a 500h trip and rider/riders leg was muddy and your next trip was long distance wat do u do? To me ehailing is everybody respect ur self dis is ride-sharing not regular taxi, a regular taxi will even charge u for ur bullshit |
