obidevine: I want to commend Moses also known as mosbus here on Nairaland for fixing my ac issues. I had taken the car to other technicians and they told me my compressor was bad blah blah blah. But when I contacted Mosbus he told me to bring the car to his workshop at isolo in Lagos and he fixed my ac issues without touching my compressor. It turns out my compressor is in tip top shape . He has all the tools and machines for ac fixing. The guy is "good people"
He's not paying me to advertise for him ooohh.

obidevine: When I'm in traffic for a while the AC shuts off and blows hot air.
Yesterday being Sunday with less traffic I drove the car from Ajah to Ikeja on reasonable speed. The AC didn't shut off because I was driving fast but when I slow down it tends to shut off . It wasn't like that before. I think I will take it for diagnosis Chk if ur AC compressor is making grinding noise when on, and change ur AC pressure switch, flush the system and vacuum then add New gas But still visit a reliable AC technician, I suspect ur AC compressor cycle on for to long without cycle off hence compressor overheating

I did a trip from mainland to island trip was over 45km because rider requested we go tru 3rd mainland bridge. Ended trip fare was 2800 and bolt calculated abt 25km, I requested for a price review, and bolt was adamant to respond until I kept disturbing dem, Here is wat I got to understand is that bolt is into fraudulent activities because there response was dat I took a longer route and I should let Dem knw if rider was aware and I confirmed rider was aware, so bolt didn't even call me all dis time but called rider about the trip and rider confirmed he chose d route and instructed bolt to update d invoice, bolt said he should pay d 2800 dat Dy will update invoice bt he should pay 2800. So u see am at loss d owner of bolt is richer Dan I am bt still he defraud me of over 2k, nw d care service replied me dat d confirm d trip was 5000 and Dy are yet reflect it on d invoice, uptill nw
Am sharing dis experience because a setting time here on nairaland ppl we say we don't encourage cheat here bt bolt and Uber na d baba of fraud. Even Uber will tell u day I are eligible for cancellation fee after u cancel nothing and Dy keep escaping all dis Small Dy block driver's.
Abeg make we ginger up take dis ppl 2 supreme Court. |

I would not advise him to follow this advice as I was flagged for doing this.
Solution: Try to have a clear mind while working and hope for the best. Continue to ask riders to rate you after almost every trip but do not beg. "Could you please help with the rating, thanks?" That's all. He can't be flag, jst don't use ur own rider account, use a friend wife or |

dru23: Trust me bro there are more substandard things in Nigeria than standard things... Unfortunately Nigeria has become a dumping ground...... Ziplock bag that you can use to freeze things . I had to bring my own from the USA after the Nigerian one I use came apart .. I use those bags to carry dry food stuff bag to Yankee.. The bag couldn't hold much of my dry food stuff .. So I bring my own from Yankee .. These are examples am giving u . I could go and on nonstop....... Most of all dis international companies hv categories all the market, for Africa I know we re classified as 3rd world country, so the standard we get can never be same with developed countries. For instance American produced cars come with curtain surrounding air bags where as even brand new bought in 9ja hv only dashboard airbags |

BAZ001: I don’t want to argue, cos you just seeing everything with the Nigerian mindset. You just imagined that everything Nigeria is fake or substandard. I no blame una, you can only talk from your level of exposure. So the crude oil we produce in Nigeria is substandard or low quality ? The fuel they export back to Nigeria is fake cos officials are corrupt. The expatriate working in oil coys are corrupt too The QA/QC in coys are all corrupt so they reduce standard? All DPR, Napims and monitoring teams are just there to take bribe and not monitor anything. Let me not talk ask people that work in major oil coys, they just chup big salaries and produce low qualities cos they are operating in Nigeria. I’m not comparing Nigerian products to American products, but I’m saying Nigerian standard is Nigerian standard. Stop assuming cos it’s Nigeria it’s fake or substandard cos nobody monitors it. Mobil 2000 can't be a bad engine oil@ all if Mobil xhp is a good engine oil for it's class den to get Mobil 2000 semi synthetic is jst a combination of Mobil xhp 20w50 and Mobil 1. Cos semi synthetic = convectional oil +synthetic oil, u dig And also all dis Mobil engine oil might be imported in drums/tank B4 transfer 2 gallons |

chijioke17: Hi guys, good day. I drive a Honda Civic 2009 For a while now I noticed that once I engage my gear, it takes about 5 to 10s before it engages and there is this click or vibration like something just entered a slot, I didn’t think much about it. Yesterday while on 3mb, I noticed something falling off, don’t know if it’s one debris I matched or it’s from my car, after about 1 hour still driving I noticed when I slow down, it will be jerking like it wants to go off, but when I turn off the AC it will stop, and when I want to accelerate again, the car will be firing but it won’t pick till after a while or when I release my leg from the accelerator and press it again. when I got to VI, I parked somewhere slopey. And the car refused to reverse. Turned off the engine and put it back on, everything went back to normal. When I got to the office, I checked under the engine bay and noticed something like oil around an area I believe is the gear box area( I may be wrong). Just checked the gear oil gauge and it’s normal. Though I noticed the gear light indicator blinking( it’s being like that since I got the car, abs light also on).
Changed the gear oil in January at honda place.
I’ll appreciate all inputs as it bothers me
Attached is my gear dip stick after car has been on for over 30mins @ bold chk engine and transmission mounts |

BAZ001: I started using the oil during locked down last year, but my concern is that the oil is new and would want it to go through test of time like xhp and Mobil 1. It’s in my engine right now but I will change it to carquest since it’s affordable for now instead of doing Mobil 1. Pearl 1910 don scare me with engine knocks though I suspect the cars that got knocked are old cars looking for who to kill them and blamed it on the oil. U knw u d price of d carquest engine oil |

I want to believe Mobil should have done their due diligence before bringing out semi synthetic oil. But if anybody has seen a side effect of this 5w30 pls speak out make we quick revert back. Am currently using the engine oil and performance a good, no top up.

UcLloyd: Oga go through this comment and u will see u just saying the same damn thing, the last of what u said is the alternator takes power from the engine. Make una no dey deceive people, AC on consumes more fuel than when u off it. Having ur door glasses down theory is a different topic.
I don't understand how u guys believe an engine put under extra push cus of one using the AC doesn't consume much fuel. If ure speaking with newer models of cars, yes cus of some emerging improvements on the whole system. But don't coman tell me a 2001-2009 cars don't consume more fuel on AC is laughable On point, even latest model consumes more fuel when using AC. The drag effect u get when ur glass is down can never consume as much fuel as running AC. To confirm the above connect a scanner to car and observe engine load readings, u will see d difference |

sharpk007: Will d air be cold?
And secondly you will notice as you increase the fan speed ur compressor pick up time will also increase
E.g on 1 speed fan ur compressor speed time might be 5 times in a minute but on 3 speed fan it will increase to like 8 times per min Good, reduce AC fan speed d compressor work load will reduce, increase fan speed d compressor work load will increase. And AC compressor is extra load for d engine |

Pearl1910: Indriver does not recommend AC. They don't even inspect car sef. So if u put on on AC its for ur own comfort, not the riders. The fares are lesser for a reason - pick up and drop off no salt and pepper included. But if u pick a ride that price is comparable with the big two players u can flex the rider since him don try. Ok I go try em |
