Dude you need to chill tho. Relax. get into the Country.. Stay Lowkey. Study your environment. See howfa your accommodation is from School. Explore your options on transporting to school. Why would you want to move electronics?? You can travel with your Gaming Console and laptops tho. mrcodebreaker: |
Dont mind the clown.. South Africa is actually a great Country.. This is my Third month working there.. Infact Nigerians are RESPECTED by other Foreign Nationals because of how they stand up to South Africans.. In the area where I live. Nigerians are treated as Kings because they broke the Rich-White Dominance of that Area. qalifa: |
Congrats... FabioPeter: |
Congrats Bro... 3months, 3 weeks.. Jeez Sandhill: |
This actually too much.. You can book any Flight without making Payment. It expires two days later so its advisable that you book it A day or on the day of Submission. When Printing the flight ticket make sure you cut out the portion of Expiry date. Try Kenya or Ethiopian Air igweifeanyi24: |

I think SO... it was applicable for me too...my Passport expires June 2023.. they have me till June 2023.. Meanwhile, anybody applying for Critical Skills, I advise you make sure you have close to 5 Years Validity on your Passport. That wold influence the duration they would give you. Once you come over you can apply for PR bLacKGoLd3: |

I work in IT. 1. Get Critical Skills Visa 2. Aggressively Search for Jobs. Depending on your skills and experience. 3. Be Dogged about the process, it can be frustrating atimes but let Naija wahala be the fuel you need to ginger yourself. ![]() DadR: |

I got a Job before coming... DadR: |
Day 7 in the country.. Day 3 at Work. This is actually a beautiful country. Everything Organized but things are quite expensive. Only God knows when Nigeria will get things right and to this Level. There are lots of Nigerians residing in the neighborhood i stay and its actually one of the Safest hood (according to other Nationalities). If you are planning on applying for Critical Skills, You need to push on it. Election is next Year and a New Government might come and change everything. Make I face work now.. Cheers. |
What Sites are you applying with? Try pnet, Indeed, Gumtree, LinkedIn. ALso Remember you really have to work in your field. If you can take any valid Job, you probably will be able to reapply for Critical Skills. lastmonth: |

There is a document Posted here... Scroll up a bit and search for the Skills that matches your current job. Research for the Organization/Body that regulates your field. I am from IT Background. So i joined IITPSA. Dont Forget SAQA. SAQA evaluates your Nigerian Degree and grades it to SA standard. Its a step by step process and try not to cut corners. If you have ACCA it would be of great advantage to you. Cheers cmin: |
Nope.. I dont have a Job in S.A Yet.. Just started applying after i got the Visa. I work in I.T. I hope to get something soon tho.. drwrites: |

I dont have a job yet. You only need about 600k or more. The most important thing is that all document required from you must be available, Genuine... I went extra.. Sent my CV, degree certificate and Copies of Certification Exams i did. Plus i had 5 Years on my passport. On the application form, I asked for 5 years even when i i dont have a job. All these could have worked in my favor. Prayer is key too paulavon: |
Good day All... Want to show sincere appreciation to all the comments and guidance I got from here.. A Specific Angel from here guided me when it was time to submit Critical Skills Application. I know its a Miracle. My application came out after 2 weeks and 2 days... Then I got 5 years ... |

Hi Guys... I need some advice. Will be applying for Critical Skills Work Visa. 1. I have gotten every documents i need to get (SAQA, CSA letter from IITPSA, Police report, Medicals). I need advice on how much should be enough for Proof of Funds. 2. Since i don't have an employer yet, i heard i would be given 1 year visa to sort myself out then reapply again later. (How true is this) 3. I also need a template for the Introduction Letter. (kindly send to slickrule@gmail.com) Please help where you can before Agents chop my money. I believe everybody was a novice at one point on this issue. Thanks in advance. |
