Ghanaian female soldier has stated that the reason why most of them are still single is because men are scared of them being a military woman, adding that in beauty, they can match any civilian lady in Ghana.

Police Command in Enugu State has apprehended 9 supposed rapists who always take advantage of ladies in various part of the country during church vigils.

In a statement on Sunday, the spokesperson for the command, Ebere Amaraizu, who attested the event to be true, said that the suspects were arrested during a night vigil in a church sighted at Akpasha community in Nkanu West Local Government Area, after an information was dash out to them.

Amaraizu explained that the suspects always positioned themselves like worshippers in the church and timing the female worshippers who would go out to urinate, so they can take advantage of them.

“This nefarious act is done while service in the church is going on, and after the rape, they run away,” he said.

He further said that investigations are ongoing as the suspects are currently making their job easy.

A Ghanaian man, heartlessly strangled his girlfriend to death at Akoshi Junction, an area within Manprobi in Accra, and has been running away from the police to avoid prosecution.

The wanted man carried out the evil act that left the lady lifeless early morning on Monday after a quarrel broke out between them.

He has since gone missing following the crime he committed.

According to YEN, the police has attested to the terrible event that played out.

The police has put a search on the man to prosecution him after due investigation.

The life body of the victim has been moved to Korle-Bu Teaching Hospital mortuary for autopsy and other needed investigation.

Sa'adat Bibire, Founder of Saab Foundation, has stated that not less than 1,000 woman in 2016 were raped in Kwara state.

She also stated that state Ministry of Woman Affairs confirmed the rape reports, crying over the issue getting on the highest level, according to Punch reports.

She also voiced out over the dreadfulness of rape, domestic violence, child abuse, molestation and female genital mutilation.

Supporters of the foundation joined In her campaign tagged ‘Walkathon against rape', as she cried out against the female vulnerability in Illorin, the Kwara State capital.

She said:

“Rape could be spiritual or psychological. Rapists are either animals or devils. Rape victims should speak up. They should stop blaming or hating themselves throughout their lives and they should not end up committing suicide. It is not their fault.

“We are creating awareness for gender-based violence. We are working to make people know that these things are real. People are not just cooking up stories on the internet. These things happen. We are having this ‘walkathon’ to make them know that if it happens to them, God forbid, we will take the case up for them.”

She also cried out to Federal Government, the national and state assemblies to look into the law that punishes offenders and strengthen it more.

She also called and urge Aisha Buhari, Dolapo Osinbanjo and other wives of all state governors to support her in the campaign.

Bibire said, “I am calling on the National Assembly and the 36 houses of assembly to make laws against rape and other domestic violence stricter and more enforceable. They need to do something. They are representing us and they need to stand for us. It could be their sisters, friends and mothers.

“There is a lot government can do. They can start by reviewing the laws. There are laws against rape but they are rigid. They are actually favouring the rapists, because you have a law saying that there has to be a witness during the penetration. How is that possible?

“A rapist is smart enough to make sure that nobody will be there when he is going to do the evil act. So, how can you have somebody that will witness the penetration? That is favouring the rapist. They need to amend the laws to favour the unfortunate victims.”

In Kenya, a baby born with an usual facial structure dies after mother disagreed to breastfeed her.

The baby who was born on Sunday, August 27, did not have eye and her nose was position where the eye is supposed to be and her family disclosed that the mother, Ms Mariam Mwakonbo, 22, resisted feeing the baby.

The baby out of hunger cried for hours and finally died later in the day.

Mariam Mwakombo told Kenya’s newspaper Nation:

“She frightened me. I have never seen such a human being.Ms Mwakombo’s husband, Hassan Kitoto, said he too could not comprehend why God gave him such a child.
“I am equally scared. I have never seen such a human being. Whatever the elders will decide let it be,” he said.

The mother gave birth to the baby at home and her family members decided to throw the baby in a deserted place for the gods of their land to take care of the baby but she died before then.

The family members actually watched the baby died after taking her to the hospital.

The mother, Ms Mwakombo said:

“Hospitals are very far and I couldn’t afford the clinic at private hospitals. I used traditional methods.“My water broke while I was doing my chores and she just came out. She’s seven months old. I never felt any pains during her birth. But on looking at her we realised she did not have eyes. I was dumb founded.“The best we can do is throw her in a dungeon in a forest. I did not name her. I could not breastfeed her lest the omen falls on me”.

Doctors supposed the condition is called anophthalmia, where the two eyes or one do not form during pregnancy.

A mother suffering from depression being fedup with her 7-year-old daughter threw her out from a 3 storey building two times. According to Bangalore Mirror, the current problem of the child is speech deficiency.

The accused, Sathi Sarkar Swathi, threw her daughter, Ishika alias Shreya. from a rented house in Jaraganahalli in JP Nagar. The hopeless woman, after indication that her daughter was still alive went down to the ground to pick her up again to throw her for the second time which finally took her life.

The witnesses thought the little deceased girl mistakenly dropped down, but they were all shocked when her mother came down to carry her upstairs to throw her down again, according to Zee News.

An eyewitness said to New Indian Express:

"While watching a film, I heard the sound of someone falling. I found Shreya bleeding from her ear. I poured water in her mouth as she was still breathing. Soon, her mother came down and took her back, only to be thrown off the building for the second time. It was then I realised that her mother was behind her death."

The Niger State Police Command on Monday issued a statement:

On 26/08/2017 at about 2100hrs, following a sustained monitoring by IGP Special Tactical Squad attached to Niger State Police Command two notorious ritualists were arrested in possession of human head of one Hassan Abubakar "m" of Bakajeba Paiko L.G.A .

The suspects Abdulrasheed Aminu "m" 22yrs old of Lupa and Ismaila Mohammed "m" 27 old of makera all confessed that they cut off the head with use two sharped knife and one of the suspect Ibrahim surname yet unknown of Paiko L.G.A still at large.

The father of the victim one Abubakar Shuaib said that his son was last seen on Saturday 26/08/2017 taking a kettle of water from the house to give an unknown person waiting outside and since then he was nowhere to be found, until he heard that Police arrested suspects with human head and he identified the victim as his son. Case under investigation.

A man, bricklayer, has been sentenced to 108 months imprisonment in hard labour by the Juaso Corcuit Court under the judgement of Mr. Alex Tetteh, for forcefully penetrating 13-year-old girl.

The bricklayer, Joshua Kofi Kyei, 26, was found guilty to the allegation made on him.

Police Detective Chief Inspector Thomas Obour disclosed to the court that act took place at Odumase in the Asante-Akin Central Municipality on January 26, 2017.

The guilty sent the little girl to fetch water from a close public water-pipe and when she returned, he forced her into his room and sexually penetrated her.

The victim after experiencing painful incident quickly rushed home to disclosed to her brother what occurred and a report was made at the police station.

Kyei when apprehended confirmed to have penetrated the minor, but said it was not by force.

On Thursday afternoon, a Nigerian Airforce Trainer Aircraft crashed at the permanent site of the Nigerian defence Academy in Kaduna. The trainer aircraft having only the pilot on board supposedly crashed around 4:25pm.

The welcomed President, Muhammadu Buhari, cautioned and re-insisted that the unity of Nigeria is an issue that have long been concluded, saying that it is non-negotiable and that Nigerians have legal backing to live where ever they please within the country without being disturbed.

“In 2003 after I joined partisan politics, the late Chief Emeka Ojukwu came and stayed as my guest in my hometown Daura. Over two days we discussed in great depth till late into the night and analysed the problems of Nigeria. We both came to the conclusion that the country must remain one and united.

“Nigeria’s unity is settled and not negotiable. We shall not allow irresponsible elements to start trouble and when things get bad they run away and saddle others with the responsibility of bringing back order, if necessary with their blood.

“Every Nigerian has the right to live and pursue his business anywhere in Nigeria without let or hindrance. I believe the very vast majority of Nigerians share this view. “

This is not to deny that there are legitimate concerns. Every group has a grievance. But the beauty and attraction of a federation is that it allows different groups to air their grievances and work out a mode of co-existence.

“The National Assembly and the National Council of State are the legitimate and appropriate bodies for national discourse. The national consensus is that, it is better to live together than to live apart.

“Furthermore, I am charging the Security Agencies not to let the successes achieved in the last 18 months be a sign to relax. “

Terrorists and criminals must be fought and destroyed relentlessly so that the majority of us can live in peace and safety.

“Therefore we are going to reinforce and reinvigorate the fight not only against elements of Boko Haram which are attempting a new series of attacks on soft targets kidnappings, farmers versus herdsmen clashes, in addition to ethnic violence fuelled by political mischief makers. We shall tackle them all.

“Finally, dear Nigerians, our collective interest now is to eschew petty differences and come together to face common challenges of; economic security, political evolution and integration as well as lasting peace among all Nigerians.

“I remain resolutely committed to ensuring that these goals are achieved and maintained. I am so glad to be home.”

The current President of the United states of America, Donald Trump's German grandfather was at a time then given a command to vacate the country and never return, and he wrote a letter seriously begging the prince regent of Bavaria to be pardoned.


On failing to complete the compulsory military service and to register his initial emigration last 20 years ago, German authorities mandated him with eight weeks to vacate the country after denying him repatriation.

In the letter, he explained his state when he got the news from the High Royal State Ministry as "a lightning strike from fair skies".


"We were paralysed with fright, our happy family life was tarnished. My wife has been overcome by anxiety, and my lovely child has become sick," he wrote.

"Why should we be deported?" he asked, "This is very, very hard for a family. What will our fellow citizens think if honest subjects are faced with such a decree."

The letter was translated from German to English and it was published in Harper's Magazine, revealed how Mr Trump deeply wanted to continue living with his family in Bavaria.

He pleaded for mercy as he wrote to Luitpold, prince regent of Bavaria in 1905.

He said: "In this urgent situation I have no other recourse than to turn to our adored, noble, wise, and just sovereign lord, our exalted ruler His Royal Highness, highest of all, who has already dried so many tears, who has ruled so beneficially and justly and wisely and softly and is warmly and deeply loved, with the most humble request that the highest of all will himself in mercy deign to allow the applicant to stay in the most gracious Kingdom of Bavaria."

Most Serene, Most Powerful Prince Regent! Most Gracious Regent and Lord!

I was born in Kallstadt on March 14, 1869. My parents were honest, plain, pious vineyard workers. They strictly held me to everything good — to diligence and piety, to regular attendance in school and church, to absolute obedience toward the high authority.

After my confirmation, in 1882, I apprenticed to become a barber. I emigrated in 1885, in my sixteenth year. In America I carried on my business with diligence, discretion, and prudence. God’s blessing was with me, and I became rich. I obtained American citizenship in 1892. In 1902 I met my current wife. Sadly, she could not tolerate the climate in New York, and I went with my dear family back to Kallstadt.

State police in Ogun state have arrested couple, Innocent and Chioma Anozie, for supposedly severely inflicting pain on little girl, Oluchi, age 11.

The girl recieved this punishment of being flogged with ropes, locked up in the toilet and deprived food for two days for associating and playing with children in the comound

The people around notice the happening when she starting crying and reportedly contacted the few soldiers in the community concerning the issue.

Notwithstanding, the issue was not taken attended to, not until the involvement of PUNCH correspondent who attracted the attention of the Ogun state Police command Headquarters.

Few policemen from the Ibafo division, headed by the Divisional Crime Officer, after some time got to the scene and relieved her from the torment.

According to PUNCH, the girl who was brought from Owerri, Imo state, have been living with the couple for four years and she is currently in primary four.

For a long time, it is said that she have been going through such terrible maltreatment from the couple , who at the moment is childless.

Residers who spoke with PUNCH mostly disclosed the ill-treatment that have been laid on the little child for a long time, that Chioma extremely beat her for every offence committed.

Mrs. Florence Sanusi, landlord of the house, explained that they all hear her cry every time she's being tortured and assaulted.

She said:

“They have been living in my house since December 2014. I, however, observed that she (Chioma) always flogged the girl. There was a day it rained heavily and I was hearing the girl’s cry. When I queried her husband, he said nothing was happening.

“But when I saw the girl the next day, her body was full of torture marks. Her eye was also swollen. She told me her guardian flogged her with cables.

“Recently, I heard her crying again and when I could not bear it, I warned them to stop the abuse or I would evict them from my house. Because of my reaction, they instructed the girl that whenever they flogged her, she must not cry. So, I started to hear muffled groans.

“I was fed up with their action and was planning to issue them a notice to quit this morning (Friday) when I was informed that they had locked the girl in the toilet without food for the past two days.
