The Federal Government has revealed that it will restlessly push for the restoration of additional $321 looted fund homed in Switzerland.



Federal Executive Council (FEC), Minister of Justice and Attorney General of the Federation Abubakar Malami, made the approval to carry on the mission yesterday.

The minister last month unveiled that $85M had been recovered out of the amount that is relating to the Malabu Oil deal which is supposed to be credited to the country.

Malami was with Minister of Information Lai Mohammed, Minister of Agriculture Audu Ogbeh, Minister of Water Resources Suleiman Adamu and Minister of Trade and Investment, Okechukwu Enelamah.

Malami said: “As you are aware, the Federal Government has been making efforts to recover stolen funds, loot, assets and the efforts have been indeed yielding fruits particularly as it relates to local recoveries. A memo has been presented to council this afternoon by the office of the Attorney General which is intended to shift focus to international recovery.

“Before going into the memo, I think it is important to bring to your attention that recently, about a week ago, we succeeded in recovering 85million dollars relating to Malabu issues from U.K.

“And then, now, there exist a forum, that is Global Assets Recovery Forum taking place in December, in US and we are looking towards that, we are in agreement substantially with Swiss for the recovery of additional sum of 321million dollars.

“That memorandum of understanding has been substantially agreed between Nigeria and Swiss. We intend to now execute or to sign off the agreement during the global forum on assets recovery coming up December.

“The intention of the memo, one is to seek the approval of the council to allow the Attorney General to sign the agreement on behalf of the Government of the Federation of Nigeria. Two, is to develop an instrument of ratification which will now give the Attorney General, the powers to ensure the repatriation of the funds.

“It is collectively agreed upon between Nigeria and Swiss that we on own part should seek the approval of council to ratify the MoU as agreed, and they on their own part too, procure the instrument of ratification that will now give the respective officers of the two countries the desire power and effect to now sign off on the agreement.

Malami said that the Council had already approved the memo.

“The implication of which is that the MoU as negotiated between Nigeria and Swiss has been agreed and ratified by council and then the Attorney General has been mandated to execute the agreement that will see to the repatriation of the 321million dollars and added to it to develop the instrument of ratification that will be expected from both sides of the device which will constitute the basis for the signing of the agreement in December in US during the global forum on assists recovery.” he said

Not less than 5 people have been feared dead on Monday after a suicide bomber detonated a bomb on himself inside a mosque in northeastern Nigerian, according to a militia member assisting the military to fight Boko Haram jihadists.



The attack happened at about 4:30 am (0330 GMT), said the leader of the Civilian Joint Task Force (CJTF) in Ajiri Yala, some 15 kilometres (10 miles) north of Maiduguri.

“A male suicide bomber disguised as a worshipper entered the mosque while people were gathering for the morning prayers,” he told AFP by telephone.

“He detonated his explosives. He killed five people and injured several others.”

The Boko Haram group are yet to claim responsibility for the blast.

While countries such as Japan, Italy and Greece use bidets as a way to clean their behinds, countries such as Britain, the US and Australia mainly rely on a bit of trusty loo roll to do the job.

But, doctors say wiping could be leaving faeces behind and excessively wiping could cause health problems such as anal fissures and urinary tract infections.
Rose George, author of The Big Necessity: The Unmentionable World of Human Waste and Why It Matters, told Tonic why using toilet paper doesn’t remove poo properly.

She said: “I find it rather baffling that millions of people are walking around with dirty anuses while thinking they are clean.

“Toilet paper moves s***, but it doesn’t remove it.”
And some celebs seem to agree.

Will.i.am previously told Elle Magazine that baby wipes are what most people should consider using when it comes to wiping.

He said: “Here’s proof on why people should have baby wipes.

“Get some chocolate, wipe it on a wooden floor, and then try to get it up with some dry towels. You’re going to get chocolate in the cracks.

“That’s why you gotta get them baby wipes.”

And the Fresh Prince himself Will Smith echoed similar during a BBC 1 Radio interview.

A University of Lagos student, Jimmy Fatunbi lamented after he revealed that two lecturers brutally attacked him.

Jimmy didn't explained that reason behind the attack on him, but he tagged them ritualists, explaining that they tried to blind him.

KINGSLEYIWU.com.ng gathered that he had issues with the lecturers that led to the attack.

Jimmy who is s former faculty of Art president said he lost many valuables following the attack last night.

He is currently receiving medical care at the University of Lagos medical center and have reported the event that played out to the School security.

A 21-year-old man, Michael Mgbaja, who is a native of Obowo LGA, in Imo state, poured fuel on a 12-year-old girl, Precious Ibezim and set her on fire in Aba, Abia State.

KINGSLEYIWU.com.ng gathered from an eyewitnesses and a member of the family which the young man and the teenage girl is being taken as house helps that it happened in the evening hours of the day, between 5pm and 6pm.

He said that the Michael carried out such evil act after he stole some money in the house and asked the girl not to report, but she refused and reported that he stole the money.

Michael who was said to be a cultist after that day planned a day when no one would be at home to set the teenage girl on fire which he had beforehand told her he is going to deal with her.

After some day, Michael in the evening poured hell on precious ad set her on fire, which her pained voiced raised alarm to the son of the family who lives downstairs of the house.

Precious was rushed to the hospital, and treatment commenced on her but after few weeks she was declared dead.

However, Michael was held down while the police was alerted to arrest him, but member of the family said the mother of the young later bribed her way out to bail her son from the police custody without charging him to court.

The source, Bunie said, " Michael was later re-arrested after the family where the boy was taken as house help went to Umuahia police area command to report the case, but before the arrest the boy went missing.

He was later arrested with the help of the Eze(King) of his village," he added.

Michael is currently under police custody and has been charge to court to be persecuted.

Ghanaian actor who is now a pastor, Majid Michel has warned youths to desist from masturbation, explaining that though it may not be found in the bible, but it is completely a sinful act.

A German actress , 45, has been injecting herself with Bacillus F, a 3.5 million-year-old bacteria from the Siberian permafrost, to prevent the nature of aging.

Moniker Manoush is the first ever person to inject herself with the bacteria which it cells has no trace of aging. She has been injecting it for the past three months and it has since made her look younger.

A Russian scientist in the permafrost of north-western Russia, in 2019, first made the discovery and tagged it a 'scientific sensation'. The bacteria's DNA was unlocked in 2015 by some researchers who says it has no trace of aging and may lead to everlasting youthful nature. Manoush has given heed to the scientists discovery and has been injecting herself with the bacteria in order to look young forever.

The actress has been getting the Bacillus F from the head of the Geocryology Department at Moscow state University, Dr. Anatoli Brouchkov.

The actress has been injecting the bacteria into her body all by herself as doctors are afraid to loose their license if anything unusual happens to her that could lead to death.

“My skin is as soft as a baby’s bottom,” Manoush recently told Barcroft TV. “You can’t really see it in the photos but if you see me in person you can see there are no marks or blemishes. I have never felt better. I have never slept better, deeper or longer.”

Dr. Brouchkov attested to the fact that she is the only person to have taken the bacteria.

The actress said;

“There is no knowing what effects this may have in the long-term – but no risk, no success,” the 45-year-old woman said. “This is not going to make me 20 years younger. But I think it will help me live to 80 or 90 and age as disgracefully as I can in artificial health and beauty. I want to die in a fully functional body and if this helps then it would have all been worth it.”

“Aging is a disease. It is a genetic flaw to me. Even as a teenager I could never accept the concept of getting older one day,’ the actress said. “I don’t care what people think. I will stop at nothing to look and feel younger. Nothing.”

However, this is not her first try to prevent herself from old age as the actress has spent over $50,000 on plastic surgery over the last 20 years, including breast implants, nose jobs and face lifts.

The bacteria has been tested on animals before now and it showed good results.

A video released displayed the man being questioned by the church members following his disgraceful act. The young man after seeing the angry mob from the church, pleaded to be pardoned.

The church members forced him to the police station after getting him undressed to search out where he kept the money and it was seen inside his shoe. However, the man pleaded that it carried out such act because of the current hardship he is facing.

Last weekend, Conference of United South-South council, USSYC, the apex youth body of all nationalities of the South-South region, released a time ultimatum to Shell Petroleum Development Company, Chevron Nigeria Limited, Agip, ExxonMobil and all other oil companies in Nigeria to relocate their headquarters to the South-South within 365 days.

USSYC national president, Cheif Ehbe Pereotubo, told the newsmen in Delta state;

“The zoning of the office of the Presidency of Nigeria among the six geopolitical regions in the federation to give each a sense of belonging.”

Concerning presidency, USSYC said: “The rotation should start with the North and we call on former military Head of State, General Abdulsalami Abubakar, to vie for President because he is a man of honour that kept to his word by handing over power to civilians in 1999.”

Pereotubo added “Our stand is that Nigeria should be democratically restructured to ensure that all Nigerians can live, practice their trades and professions, including party politics anywhere in the country without let or hindrance.

“We demand that non-violent youths should be financially rewarded as in the amnesty granted our freedom fighters , so as not to be seen as encouraging violent tendencies in the region. We also demand withdrawal of military checkpoints in the Niger Delta region because we are not at war with anybody. You cannot call some people militants and yet continue to pay them and even provide them with security personnel and guards to move around.

“Resource control must as a matter of urgency become a reality with each state of the federation paying royalty to the Federal Government at the centre. In other words, every state should manage its resources and income while paying tax to the central government.

Serious crisis erupted in Zaria, Kaduna State as Shia members and police officers engaged into a dispute.

Witnesses said the the Shia group who were ban in the state commenced on a meeting called "Ashura" which caused the police to burst in, in a bid to hinder their meeting.

Following a clash between the religious group and the Nigerian Army in 2015, Governor Nasir El-Rufai prohibited their activities in the state.

There is no struggle over competing ideals; we are told the current political economy is immutable. The only thing that matters is whether you master its dynamics to succeed or you sink and fail. To attempt to change things is as futile as trying to change the sky and clouds themselves.

“This is a blatant lie. Change is possible and change we must. There is no such thing as having no ideology. Every political and economic institutions are founded on one thought system or another. To accept the false premise that there is no alternative to how things are is to acquiesce in the unfair ideology that has brought us to our current predicament.

“In the hard sciences such as physics, chemistry or mathematics, one can speak of immutable principles and objective formula. In the affairs of men, most things are subjective. Virtue and vice, good and bad, what is optimal and what is not have no fixed meaning. Definitions change with the ideological and moral perspective of each person.

“In the face of recession, one man fires most of his employees in order to maintain his own income level. Another man accepts to receive less income so that he may retain his workers. Two men faced with the same circumstance. Each made a decision of equal soundness with regard to the rational or intellectual quality of the thinking processes that led to the decisions. However, the decisions call forth two divergent value systems that suggest two vastly different visions of how the political economy should function whether in or out of crisis.

“As in almost all social interactions, there are few acts devoid of subjective ideological coloration. The decisions we make are determined by how we would like the world to be – our very actions are determined by what we value so as to keep and what we are willing to discard when the ship of state is tossed either by storm or errant navigation.

“Since there is no one objective optimal standard by which to construct a political economy, it would seem prudent for a nation to dedicate a healthy amount of time discussing this fundamental matter. For such is the surest path to reaching consensus on what economic development and good governance mean in our particular context.

“Sadly, the obverse is true. We talk little about this core issue. Instead, we spend inordinate time bickering over the symptoms of our failure to discuss the core issue. We are like the bewildered couple who has gotten their marriage license after a lavish wedding; yet neither of them really understands the meaning of marriage or their roles as husband and wife in it.

“Legally, they are married but functionally, their union is a crippled one. This couple will be at loggerheads until somehow, some way they forge an agreement on what type of home they want and what are their respective duties in making that home come into existence.

A young lady who was displaying her 'insane' dancing skills on the dance floor suddenly met her death, according to an eyewitness' report.

Her family members explained that the young lady was having a medical issue which had seizures as one of its symptoms being displayed. Despite knowing her health issues, the young lady yet went to dance with her group.

The young lady fell to the ground while dancing and was left to the state of unconsciousness which led to giving up her ghost all of a sudden. It is reported that she was affected by the seizures following the continuous movement of her body to the song "One Corner" song.

The song produced by Patapaa has become a national dancehall for Ghana and it has since led to producing new dance steps and skills which involve shaking of the body deeply.

Many Ghana artiste joined the trend of dancehall music stirring up many Ghanaians to follow suit.

Nigeria's senate president during the third republic, Ameh Ebute - following the issue of IPOB being declared a terrorist group by the Federal Government - has written a letter to the UN, saying IPOB is capable of causing a genocide in Nigeria.

The Ex-senate member pleaded with the UN Security Council (UNSC) to stop the crisis of genocidal intention in Nigeria.

Below is the letter:

“The league of elder statesmen in Nigeria sends you special compliments as well as extends same to the entire staff of the UN Secretariat Headquarters, New York.

We are sure the UN is aware and indeed monitoring the precarious insecurity situation in Nigeria, heightened by terrorist sects and other violent insurrectional groups. These crises escalated in the last few years beginning from the year 2009, when Boko Haram terrorists invaded Nigeria terrifyingly.

The extremists Boko Haram Islamic sect members mindlessly and gruesomely murdered people; abducted hundreds of Nigerians; perpetrated acts of arson and violently seized swathes of land under Nigerian territorial sovereignty and committed other heinous atrocities already recorded by history.

It has deposited on the land internally displaced persons (IDPs) the UN has estimated at over 2.4 million people in northeast Nigeria, where terrorism hibernated for years before its defeat by the Nigerian Military.

The federal government of Nigeria (FGN) under President Muhammadu Buhari has been battling the scourge of terrorism and allied insurgencies in parts of Nigeria in the last two years. But as the insecurity situation in Nigeria is gradually being normalised, the country is again woken up by sounds of unpleasant drums of war chanted by emerging terrorists sects, garbed in ethnic separatist movements which have perfected plots to unleash more heinous atrocities on Nigeria.

We wish to notify your office that investigations by the appropriate security authorities in Nigeria have identified the latest and budding terrorists sect in the country as the Indigenous Peoples of Biafra (IPOB), whose leader is Mazi Nnamdi Kanu.

The activities of IPOB members which are mainly confined to south-east Nigeria presently is an organisation, which operates in the guise of agitations for secession or actualisation of a “republic of Biafra”.

While it is clear IPOB is opposed to conventional tools for its campaigns for secession, its members have wittingly engaged in unwholesome acts, which bear bold imprints of terrorism.

IPOB sect members, led by Mazi Nnamdi Kanu have embarked on bile and hate campaigns against other ethnicities in Nigeria, adopting inciting or indecorous language, and laced in distasteful violent acts, intent on provoking another civil war in Nigeria.

They consistently nourish the platform for the planned civil strife it intends to illegally foist on Nigeria, which would lead to mass genocide against innocent Nigerians.

We are concerned at the exposure of traits of terrorism in IPOB as revealed by an intensive, painstaking security investigation and analysis of the activities of IPOB’s Leader Mazi Nnamdi Kanu and his band of followers.

The conclusions have been sourced and established from its relentlessly violent siege on Nigeria and promotion of hate campaigns as well as physical enforcement of compliance with illegal sit-at-home order through its militant wings.

In accordance with the above acts which bear semblance of terrorism, the Nigerian military on Friday, September 15, 2017 declared IPOB’s leader, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu and the organisation as manifesting in “intent, plan and purposes as analysed, is a militant terrorist organisation.”

The Nigerian defence headquarters which issued the proclamation cited IPOB’s perpetration of acts like the formation of a Biafra Secret Service (BSS); advanced stages in the formation of Biafra National Guard (BNG); militants possession/use of weapons;

physical confrontations and attempts to snatch military weapons from the military troops on patrol and unauthorised blockage of public access roads and extortion of money from hapless members of the general public. These act built an unfathomable tension in the southeast and Nigeria.

It is also instructive that almost simultaneously after Nigerian military authorities declared IPOB a terrorists organisation, the governors of the five states in the south-east, under the aegies of South-east Governors Forum (SGF) held an emergency meeting.

After intensive deliberations on the actions of the IPOB leader and activities of the organisation, the SGF in a communiqué issued on same day, September 15, 2017 unanimously resolved and proscribed the activities of IPOB.

Furthermore, it is a matter of serious concern that the south-east states governors, who are the chief security officers of their respective states, reviewed the prevailing preposterous insecurity situation in the south-east hatched through the violent operations of IPOB members and the concomitant consequences to outrightly proscribe its activities.

It is express confirmation of the deep-rooted threats of terrorism IPOB constituted to the south-east region and corporate existence of Nigeria; public peace and order as well as national security.

Only the prompt intervention of the Nigerian military that saved a nationally ominous, violent implosion, which would have snowballed into a terrible and devastating crisis, leading to mass genocide of Nigerian people.

We are scared for the future of Nigeria and posterity with the continued existence of the Mazi Nnamdi Kanu’s IPOB. Its leader has vowed repeatedly through utterances and actions to unstoppably trigger crisis of genocidal proportions in Nigeria come rain, come sun shine.

It is therefore imperative for the UN through its organ of the United Nations Security Council (UNSC) to invoke the suitable laws to intervene in an apparently smoldering crisis in Nigeria.

Permitting the progression of this crisis to the level of explosion would be devastating and definitely affect peace and security on the African continent as a whole and create humanitarian crisis of international dimension.

The UN is pleaded to immediately commence the process of investigating the activities of IPOB’s leader Mazi Nnamdi Kanu and members of the organisation which have radiated in flames of a terrorists sect. It has led to its tagging as a terrorists organisation by Nigeria and UN is prodded to act in order to identity and do the needful to these pregnable threats to Nigeria and trans-regional security in Africa.

The UN is implored to further initiate actions that would save Nigeria from this pending catastrophe arranged by IPOB in order to safeguard international peace and security.

Our experiences indicate that some terrorists groups tormenting Nigeria today have confessed to been foreign-backed and funded. It underscores the need to give more attention to IPOB’s fierce aggression on Nigeria.

Please, accept our profound appreciation as we anxiously await an immediate response to this plea for intervention to halt the imminent disruption of peace and the obvious plunging of Nigeria into avertable crisis.”
