Kirri: Greatest Ladokite, Have you @all requested 4ur trancript from Lautech? Lautech no longer gives out transcript to graduates. School will on ur behalf, send it to the recipients address (through courier or Nipost, depending on ur choice, but I used DHL because it's faster and reliable, though expensive #7600). Before you request for ur transcript, I will advise u apply to WES to get a ref no. U will then include ur ref no to WES address for school to send it on ur behalf. e.g WES Reference No: 1234567 World Education Services Attention: Documentation Centre 2 Carlton Street, Suite1400 Toronto, Ontario M5B 1J3. U will also send academic request form(download it from WES site) to student affairs. U will fill part A(for applicant) and part B will be filled by school. When u request for ur trancript from school, u will tell them the academic request form(dat u downloaded from WES) should be sent together with ur transcript. Anyway, they will understand because I just recently did mine. Infact, my transcript was sent today and I've gotten my tracking no. I used my certificate. I wanted to use my statement of result initially, but my uncle over there told me to use my certificate because it's being a while I graduated(2009). So I travelled to school last week to get my certificate. Alternatively, if ur certificate isn't ready, u can use ur statement of result. When did u finish for ur certificate not to have been ready? |

lavivaavril:I guess u have 2send d copy of ur cert. urself, while ur school send alone, d trancript(with WES ref no on it). I already requested for my transcript(yet to be ready anyway) and i scanned my cert 2 my uncle in ontario to send 2 WES 4me so as 2save another courier cost. He has my WES ref no |

Am neither for Buhari nor Jonathan cos politicians are flocks of d same feathers, but I still have some facts to share 1) That Buhari iƧ̷̜̩̌̋ too old to rule *NG* iƧ̷̜̩̌̋ what I disagree with. How old was Mandela when he became the president of South Africa? 2) I watched Buhari's documentary on ait but I must sincerely tell Ɣ☺ΰ am not moved an inch. As far as am concerned, it depends on our level of understanding. Buhari's regime iƧ̷̜̩̌̋ not the worst in Nigeria. If documentary about Abacha and 'almighty IBB' should be shown 2nigerians, ε̲̣̣̣̥ will all weep. Moreover, military govern with decree, while civilian goes 4 constitution. If Buhari should win, I don't think he will rule *NG* with military decree when he has constitution 2follow. After all, Obasanjo never ruled us with a decree when he became d president despite d fact that he had once been a military head of state. 3) To have a civilian 2 single handedly govern *NG* for 10 consecutive years iƧ̷̜̩̌̋ not too good (especially in *NG* when some people are above d law). The reason iƧ̷̜̩̌̋ because he might have had S̶̲̥̅Ơ̴̴̴̴̴̴͡ many atrocities he committed in which he will eventually go away with them cos he has S̶̲̥̅Ơ̴̴̴̴̴̴͡ many years that gave him d opportunity to cover up his sins. Secondly, a 10 year civilian rule iƧ̷̜̩̌̋ not that different from a 3 term rule. Am not against Jonathan though, but if he won dis election, believe me or not, Jonathan has indirectly created a 3rd term agenda because the presidents after him will definitely also lobby for that, claiming if a man had ruled for 10years, there iƧ̷̜̩̌̋ nothing stopping them also to rule for 12yrs. 4) Finally, Nigerians, pls don't allow all these politicians to come in between us because they are all d same. I can see it's already causing disunity among us even among people of the same faith. When their aims have been achieved, ε̲̣̣̣̥ will be forgotten, S̶̲̥̅Ơ̴̴̴̴̴̴͡ Ђό̲̣̣̣̥W̶̲̥̅̊ about d enemity they would have created among Nigerians. They all have d same ambition 'POWER' and once they achieve it, ε̲̣̣̣̥ will hardly be remembered, S̶̲̥̅Ơ̴̴̴̴̴̴͡ ε̲̣̣̣̥ must be wise and never allow dis selfish politicians to divide us. |

Cufs: Of course yes! Ɣ☺ΰ can go 4 a 2nd b.sc degree but dia are several factors d VO has 2consider like age.......among many others(though favour can overule all dat cos I believe in miracles). Dats y Ɣ☺ΰ av 2write a convincing sop. I'm also in Ūя̲̲̅ shoes. MUN gave me an undergraduate admission 4dis fall but wasn't given 4my m.sc. I av my 1st degree since 2009 in applied physics S̶̲̥̅Ơ̴̴̴̴̴̴͡ I intend 2use d undergrad offer 2study geophysics(am now being discouraged 2go 4 anoda b.sc, considerin my age). Am yet 2apply 4my trv wit dat LOA cos am still trying 2figure out Gods purpose on dis canadian stuffs. Dia are several options Ɣ☺ΰ can also try like PGD aπϑ d federal skilled worker as some1 had suggested but dat 1 takes a longer period aπϑ canadian govt change dia package on dat often aπϑ often. I pray God will guide Ɣ☺ΰ in woteva decision Ɣ☺ΰ will make...... All d best! 1 Like |

@cufs.... I read ur sop on 1 of d quotes. I hardly comment on dis forum but I would like 2share my opinion on it Ur sop is quite nice but not enof. 2me, it's as if u are telin d VO dat u don't even know wot u are goin 4. 2nd degree is M.sc while B.sc is 1st degree, so, goin 4anoda B.sc means u are goin 4 a 2nd bachelor degree. While U may not b called 4an interview, ur sop must fill in d gap by answering all d questions d VO might want 2know like... Y going 4 a 2nd bachelor degree, is ur 1st degree related 2d 2nd bachelor degree u want 2go 4, if yes, how, d grade of ur 1st degree, y u chose d course n dat school, what steps av u taken 2ensure u will perform better, y u dont want 2study dat course in Nigeria, y Canada, what benefit will d course bring 2U n ur country, what u intend doing after coming back (u didnt even metion u will b coming back n dats what they hate), home tie n lots more. Include copies of ur certificate, nysc, waec...as proof of 1st degree n work on ur introduction. Gudluck as u refire 1 Like |

missbon: U cant assume without trying, I advice u apply first before concluding dat ur chances are slim. Do not assume based on what is wrriten on the site. Several peeps got admitted into courses they have no background in. So don't limit urself. Pgd is the easy way to go instead of redoing another bachelors. It saves u from visa problems and it also adds to ur previous degree. It can also help u advance for masters so pls do wat works for ur career best.*big huuuuuug* will try d GIS. Tenks |

I say a big -̶̶•-̶̶•̸Ϟ•̸Thank You•̸Ϟ•̸-̶̶•-̶ 2those dat answered my initial questn. Pls house, d issue iƧ̷̜̩̌̋ dis..... I applied 4MUN graduate program (geophysics precisely) but I wasn't given admission. I just tried d undergraduate program aπϑ I was admitted. Am a 1st degree holder since 2009 in applied Physics(2.2). Some1 now suggested I shldnt go 4dat undgergrad program, rather, I shld do a year PGD in applied geophysics @ FUTA b4 applying 4anoda Msc program in Canada cos it could boost my chances of being admitted. No schools in Canada offers PGD in Geophysics. An uncle residing in Canada now got mad @me when he heard of my new plans of doing PGD @ FUTA firstly b4 applying 4anoda Msc program. He told me d undergrad prog iƧ̷̜̩̌̋ better because of d duratn which will be easier 4me 2settle down compared 2yrs M.sc. S̶̲̥̅Ơ̴̴̴̴̴̴͡ he OREDRED me to apply 4my TRV wit d undergrad admission. Honestly, am seriously confused was y I decided 2come here 4ur opinions. -̶̶•-̶̶•̸Ϟ•̸Thank You•̸Ϟ•̸-̶̶•-̶ |
