I've seen Diaby play 7, 11, 8 and what not, and to me that in itself is a testament of his versatility especially in attacking positions.

Add central midfielder to that and here is the bone of contention: either he develops into an all round box-to-box midfielder or he becomes a jack of all trade master of none. My money is definitely on the former.

Who is Darren 'lawnmower' fletcher now ? The Diaby that is being slated here even makes and wins far more tackles per game than he does and its not my opinion it is fact.

I think kay was right, diaby does hesitate in decision making i think thats why he is slow on the ball has to meander and then run into cul-de-sacs, . But on the contrary that happens less than often but its a perception that is getting diffcult to shrug off. But the good thing is evrytime he is successful, he leaves about 2 players in his wake and consequetly space and time for whomever he releases the ball to.

Meanwhile, i think its preposterous insinuating that arsenal players are not good off-the-ball players. How else can a team carry out what is refered to as attacking football if they dont continously put themselves into position to recieve a forward pass and return same. That is the main ingridient of attacking football isnt it?

As per the goal, Diaby was way to upfield to track back. Song should have done better to close down the space that allowed the final pass to be made. Not to lay blame though sometimes it may be good for players to take responsibilty for goals conceeded (asides diaby's sagging shoulders agaist the scummies ). Not withstanding mannone's positioning for the first goal, Vermalleen knew that it was his call, he clearly raised up to hand like to say 'allow me', but he wasnt aware of the height of Nzonzi's jump. There and then i told my friend, now he owes us one. And lo and behold,,,,,,,,,well you know the rest.

And Debosky with due respect to our attackers and the Fab, those goals were not results of defensive error rather of attacking brilliance. I've Fab cut better defenses with those passes. And with due disrespects to the scummies, if they ever sit back like that against us, mo sorry fun won.
