These guys (Rubin) kept on giving up possesion like they were some League 2 team, Barca didnt do much with it in the final third. Pin point passing that often didnt result in a shot on goal. Though i have to say, Rubin's keeper plus his defense really helped them some.
All in all, finishing was what did Barca in IMO. Reminds me of Spain vs USA confed cup.

Let me pull a Wenger plus a Duduspace  , there are positives to take from this game.

One very big one is how this draw feels like a loss to we fans. For a team that was written off for this season before last season even ended, it shows how much winning is now second nature to us.

Secondly we didnt put pressure on the ball in the first half but still were in charge of the game. It did allowed Koeman to carry out his passing and moving around game, but somehow reminded me of some of our games last season, passing around without penetrating wont get you anywhere.

However, i do think our strikers were a wee bit on the selfish side yesterday, the goal came from neat passing and VP taking the option of putting the balls acros when he would normally have had a go at it. Yesterday there were numerous chances to play the man in the better position that were not taken. Hopefully we get back to collectively running circles around all them mugs.

Is it me, or is Eboue beginning to get his crossing game on. Against Brum, clinical ball across to Diaby, yesterday he picked out Arshavin neatly.

All in all, we drew a game we could afford to draw. I'm not liking it right now, but I'll accept it, only just though. Cos by all standards, THE ARSENAL is well able to crush any maga. Especially those wey we borrow our old jerseys  .

Yeah we did tune off and got punished by barely the last kick of the game. And i'd agree with what Dudu said, we allowed them a lot of possession especially int he fist half, but somehow still looked like we were in control of the game. Its still he RED AND WHITE ARMY!!!
