Well first off, as per stats, someone once said stats are facts, but he'd rather rely on his eyes.
Well relying on my eyes i have seen Diaby make some awesome tackles and so,,,,em, not so awesome ones. But against the Brums, i saw him makes ball winnning and not some take-man-ball tackle down the left side, in similar fashion and similar position in a very short time frame. Thats performance.

Personal stats (in just a single aspect of one's game) might not say much, but comparative stats say a lot. Both against your former performances and against the perceived performers in similar positions. Fletcher might be mowing lawns all over the premiership, but Diaby wins more balls than he does, thats is a statistical fact!!! And in an Arsenal game that is much reliant on a larger share of possesion that is saying something.

And about the Brum goal, whether Mannone flapped, flipped or flopped the ball to cause the goal, the fact remains that that was a foul. It becomes easier to accept cause we won, but, it still remains a foul. A player without eyes for the ball clashes into a goal keeper, please that is simply put, a foul. You cant even stand under a jumping player to claim pressure much less a goal keeper. He was clearly complaining about that fact, and it wont be helping his mental form any, if fans keep propagating what he knows is contrary.

Well, from we've got too thin a squad to we've got too many (not aimed at u dudu). Problems are usually perceived and might not be necessarily so. The key i guess is to use them as at when due. I trust Arsene to mange taht well, hell, he believed in these boys when 3/4 of the footballin world wrote them off.

I see us winning. In as much i wont want to get all high horsed about it, but it will be shameful and says a lot about our expectations for our club and what we think of ourselves if Birmingham is coming and we are not thinking of an outright win. He will get his chance I think, Arsene obviously sees him as a long term project and the boy will deliver. I believe Arsene will have to make some hard decisions at the end of the season and 1 or 2 of Rosicky, Eduardo and Merida will have to leave as the squad is getting bloated and the young ones are getting impatient. I'm happy I'm not the one who has to take that decision but lets see how the season pans out for each individual, we definitely have a big enough squad to compete on all fronts.

If Alumunia does get his place back, it will be unlikely to see Mannone fallin all the way to reserve of the reserves. So he just might edge out Wowcheque in goal against Liverpool. On the aletrnative though fabiansky might be put in goal to get competituive games under his belt this season.

Nasri is back in full training, he's stated an end of month return date to first team action, so Carling cup will be a good way to ease him in, although the dynamics of the starting eleven for EPL games migth then change. Talking about playing him or Diaby on the left side of midfield, when defense is priority, cos God knows Clichy still needs it as he gradulaly works towards his best form this season.
