You need to read again the criteria to book for A....Your grade is not allow to book for A as it is stated on the embassy website. You can book on CAT B......

Please, what is your prefer university?
Cheers!!

shanky14:

TravelRe: General German Student Visa Enquiries Part 7 by Slip(m): 1:43am On Oct 14, 2019
Please u don't need to spam the thread....We've all seen the first post..

If that is the case, the second semester she's talking about should be for summer. I will advise you to cancel and rebook with a start date of February 29, 2020. As she said you can mail her to provide you a supporting document after you've gotten a date...

I believe you will have a date with that start date.

Cheers!

shanky14:
Please any useable suggestion please.
I spoke to my tutor and she said i can come in any time just that if i come anytime next year i might not be able to resume for the first semester but i can join the second semester and join next batch to repeat the missed semester. She also said once i secured a date I can send her mail for any additional document that i might need for the interview.
what do you advice i do? should i cancel again put next year date or still holding and hoping to get a date this year?

Also any information on re arranging the portal by Oct 1st as stated on the embassy website?

Wow!

Nice one! I love your write up.. This will encourage others who are feeling uncomfortable when told to read up....

Knowledge and freedom is power!!

Chuukwudi:
I just started going through this thread...
I only had ideas that Germany supports free education but I didn't know how to truly go about it so, I have decided to go through this thread from page 1 and right now I'm on page 50 and I must tell you that with what I have read so far, I feel so confident in myself I have gotten so much information! In fact, nairaland is wonderful! This thread is doing so well! Just by Reading from page 1 to 50 all my previous questions have been answered and I do not even need to type and ask anyone any question anymore.

What is bothering me now is how to acquire my original transcript. I finished from FUTO. Any ideas?

Tchuss! cheesy

Why are we all quoting a long quote! Please and please, kindly delete some contents so as to avert unnecessary space being used.

Isn't it awful you having a long scroll before getting a piece of info on inquiry!

Cheers!
TravelRe: General German Student Visa Enquiries Part 7 by Slip(m): 6:37pm On Oct 12, 2019
You didn't ask the right question. You ask if OND can get me admitted to any German universities? The answer is, you need one year university or HND transcripts to apply for Bsc courses in any German universities.

Please read the thread first before any further questions! There are lot of inquiries that has been answered in the past.. We derive no pleasure in going back.

dhrogbar:
Hello guys, kindly help me with the name of the schools that accept OND for bachelor. It is very urgent please. Thanks.
TravelRe: General German Student Visa Enquiries Part 7 by Slip(m): 3:36pm On Oct 11, 2019
It means that they cant send your transcript to the bank address you gave them....Unilag doesnt send transcripts to private organization except higher institution or well known professional body like ICAN. If you know anyone in another higher institution you can give them the university address but before that negotiate with the person u know so u dont waste your money.

mexzony:
Hello. Pls does anyone know what "unacceptable adress" means? on transcript application from unilag.i gave them the adress of a bank and the name of the regional head and yet I saw the quoted
TravelRe: General German Student Visa Enquiries Part 7 by Slip(m): 3:28pm On Oct 11, 2019
Your university should address it to Uniassist address. With that you can use it for any universities applications.

The Head
Uniassist e.V.
11507 Berlin
Germany.

abimbola121:
Good day everyone,
when requesting for English proficiency Letter will the university address it to the particular school I'm applying to? or it can be a ( to whom maybe concern letter) I would appreciate replies on this .Thank you all
TravelRe: General German Student Visa Enquiries Part 7 by Slip(m): 1:21pm On Oct 11, 2019
Schengen visa is usually for tourist; which means you only have a limited or specified time to leave the country. Therefore, you cannot use such visa to apply for study in any European country talk less of Germany. Even if you go with Schengen visa (tourist) from Germany consulate you cant convert to student visa. This information is available on Germany embassy website. You need to come back home and apply for student visa from your home country.

ERCROSS:
Please, I would like to confirm how true this is. A friend told me one can gain entrance into Germany using a shenghen visa, say from Belgium. If that's true, can the same visa be used to stay in Germany for study?
TravelRe: General German Student Visa Enquiries Part 7 by Slip(m): 1:15pm On Oct 11, 2019
It seems you dont decode the dude inquiry.....

Thewizardof0zil:
Yes you can enter 25 other countries from belgium without a visa in the schengen area.

annie17:

If you reside in Lagos this is the link to book appointment for certification of documents for university application.

https://service2.diplo.de/rktermin/extern/choose_category.do?locationCode=lago&realmId=695&categoryId=1157

Once you click the link try and find "continue" at the top right or bottom right of the page.

sykeng:
Pleases how did you go about your booking?
TravelRe: General German Student Visa Enquiries Part 7 by Slip(m): 10:31pm On Oct 10, 2019
Pls pardon me to use the word.. If the transcripts is genuine and it's from the ur school with logo or letterhead then it can be certified at the embassy so far the name, signature and stamp is on it... But where they rejected it then ask them to proceed with other educational documents that u will ask ur school to send it directly to uniassist or intended German universities...

Cheers!

odimbannamdi:
What if it is stamped and signed, but in black and whitehuh

Anyway, if embassy still refuses to certify, maybe i should just certify at a high court?

How did you get ur current admission that you are waiting for AD?

Was transcripts not taken for your evaluation?

evergreen9:
is it possible to apply for admission to a German university while awaiting your transcript. I am awaiting my transcript from NOUN, has anyone here used NOUN transcript to apply for admission to a German university?
TravelRe: General German Student Visa Enquiries Part 7 by Slip(m): 9:44pm On Oct 10, 2019
Uniassist accept any of the 3 types pf certification..

1. Embassy
2. High Court certification
3. When you university sent ur transcripts directly to uniassist..

Awani007:
Certified by the embassy?
TravelRe: General German Student Visa Enquiries Part 7 by Slip(m):
Embassy certify documents with stamp ink or seal and signature... You may go and try your luck after all i was sometime ago sent back wen i wasn't informed about the need for university applications for certification... U can either go and try ur luck to be more experienced or you get the stamped and signed transcripts..

Note that u will have to wait at exactly 1month to rebook for another appointment for certification of documents for university's applicants...

Cheers!

odimbannamdi:
Quick one guys,

My transcript is not stamped and signed. It is also in black and white.

I have certification appointment at the embassy on Tuesday next week. Is it possible to pass it off as a student copy? Will they agree to certify it for me like that at the embassy??
TravelRe: General German Student Visa Enquiries Part 7 by Slip(m): 7:31pm On Oct 10, 2019
Hmmmm!

What about those that got AM in 3 days? and past record here (last month) where people got AM in less than 3 weeks... Do not generalise

francismob:
Germans can take a whole year to make a decision. They are always painstaking. Anyone notice that? That is why some AMs take forever
TravelRe: General German Student Visa Enquiries Part 7 by Slip(m): 6:22pm On Oct 10, 2019
Applying for summer with courses with open admission will be your best option before your visa expire. Search for schools with that their applications is opened...

I hope you went with another set of your certified documents? What's your field of study?

regards,

Aj79:
Guys please I cannot get enrolment due to conditional admission...
Am in DE already with 6mths visa
I need you advise on how to get bye.
Pls help... Thanks
TravelRe: General German Student Visa Enquiries Part 7 by Slip(m): 1:22pm On Oct 10, 2019
So it is only age that can be that rejection narration? what if the person is unable to convince or show seriousness on the day of interview? You dont think it could also result to that rejection statement?

You have been advised. There is no age limit in studying.

valez19:
Yes, someone did. But I need a little more clarification. I've seen two guys (above 30) who were rejected. They were told they are not sure their intentions is genuinely to study. Heard this is a recent development though, that's why I'm asking for more clarification especially from HND holders in the house
TravelRe: General German Student Visa Enquiries Part 7 by Slip(m): 1:16pm On Oct 10, 2019
@Chukwudi,

Note that whatever document you are sending to uniassist should be certified either student copy transcripts or not so you dont waste your money.......

Cheers!

Since August!

You can use the contact form on their portal to find out why the delay.

4realisreal:
Scan and upload the part of your prospectus that has your course content.

Pls when did u apply for ur vpd and have u gotten it? Applied for mine since late August & am yet to get it
TravelRe: General German Student Visa Enquiries Part 7 by Slip(m): 11:19pm On Oct 09, 2019
What you heard from your friend is not true... There's no age limit in studying... In fact, a friend in Germany confirmed that a 54yrs old man was his course mate.... However, you should be able to answer the VO what u have been doing after graduated....That is if you were asked by the V.O but not all cases they do asked....

valez19:
Hello everyone in the house, please I'm new here and I sincerely need advice. I want to apply for studies in German University but I don't have B.Sc. What I have is HND. Though I've read through, and seen that I can go for Undergraduate studies with my HND. But I was recently informed by some friends that the embassy is now denying visa for people who are 30 years old and above. Is this true? And if it is true, what should I do as I'm already in my early 30s? Is there anything I can do about it? Please, I appreciate advises from anyone in the house who knows how the system works. Thanks
TravelRe: General German Student Visa Enquiries Part 7 by Slip(m): 8:49am On Oct 09, 2019
No u can't.. U need each schools applications form for each set...

This already stated on the previous post you quoted... Pls read!

starboychan:
Good morning bro ,
Can I use one application form to certify 5sets ?.
TravelRe: General German Student Visa Enquiries Part 7 by Slip(m): 8:47am On Oct 09, 2019
Concerning your reference letter, i don't think anyone can state specifically which one is acceptable only your intended school decides that.. Some may accept the general statement which is to whom it may concern while some schools may insist you address the letter to their school, so u can see that one cannot give u precise advise... However, in most cases most schools do accept the "to whom" which is the general statement....

And as for the transcript, whatever transcripts you are sending to uniassist must be certified... This certification is in 3 types...

1. Make copies of your educational certificates with transcripts and go to high court for certification.

2. You can also book online on the embassy website and go along with all copies of educational records. Note that certification at the embassy requires each school application form...

3. Your university can send your transcripts directly to uniassist..

Above all, please read this thread extensively... Some of these questions have been responded to before....Your answer to this transcripts inquiry is even boldly stated on uniassist website....Pls read o

Chuukwudi:
Please, I have a few questions to ask.

1. This is about Reference letter which I'm about to get.

If about 5 schools need reference letters from my lecturer, how will it be addressed.? How is it usually written?

Will it be directed to the schools individually, say for instance;

Or.... Will it be written in a more general way without directing it to anyone in particular so I can apply to numerous schools with it without editing it?
Eg;

2. Can I send my student copy transcript to uni assist or should I ask my university to mail it to them themselves? The later might take time, I'm afraid.
TravelRe: General German Student Visa Enquiries Part 7 by Slip(m): 7:53pm On Oct 08, 2019
If you are interested in plan B you can check out for Bsc International Business (OTH Amberg-Weiden). The course is available for summer and application will open November 15th.

evergreen9:
When applying for a Bsc course taught in English would IELTS / TOEFL be required or would the German uni just ask for 100 Level transcript and Waec etc?
TravelRe: General German Student Visa Enquiries Part 7 by Slip(m): 1:04pm On Oct 08, 2019
No one can give precise advise on this as it depends on your intended schools........Note that the emabassy certified binded documents with just one ink stamp which shows at the top tip of each document. In order others they dont certify page by page. So if you use school A application for certification and you intend for use for school B it may be acceptable and it may not by the school.....Therefore, only your intended schools can decide that not here. You may need to mail your various courses coordinators

i believe there is a close date for certification of documents at the embassy, why not wait for your intended schools to open application?

demigod9:
Afternoon guys. I booked appointment at the embassy for certification of document but I didn't know I'm supposed to come with application form. Now some of the schools I am applying to have not open for application yet. Can I download any application form available even for programs I am not interested in and fill for now. Then when those schools are open I can use the certified documents for them.

On one school is open at the moment and I want to avoid going to the embassy just to certify one set of application.
TravelRe: General German Student Visa Enquiries Part 7 by Slip(m): 11:36am On Oct 07, 2019
What do you want us to do exactly? Is the subject not your intended course? Are you not applying from semester 1?

doyindeda:
Anyone pls?
TravelRe: General German Student Visa Enquiries Part 7 by Slip(m): 6:40pm On Oct 06, 2019
No one can advise you to apply for summer... You can decide on that.... However, you can also predict the needful if you do not get date in the next 12 days from now...

Theobaba100:
Please have booked for AD since july 27th under category B and I'm yet to get a date but l have requested for and extension in my enrollment date which is Nov 14 should l still be expecting, should l cancel and rebook or l should just go and apply for summer
