Before you say why are people ignoring your question; you've been advised that one year university or HND transcripts is required to apply for undergraduate course in any German universities. I am surprised you are here again talking about O'level or waec.. Could it be we are lying here? I can see you still have a long way to go in reading this thread. I will advise you read up this thread from the page 1 and STOP spamming this thread...

Now that you have seen yourself on the university website that you need to get a vpd from uniassist, why can't you just search for uniassist website and read up on their requirements to get the vpd...... You better set your priority right and focus on education in Ukraine for a year and come back to German thread.

I read from my University website ( hamburg university of applied science) that i need VPD for me to be admitted into my course. They didn't ask me to submit 1 year university transcript. All they told me is to send my Acedemic documents to uni-assist for evaluation. Then after evaluation they will issue me VPD which i will submit to my University online.

My question is. Now i don't have 1 year transcript, can i send my hight school transcripts and my waec certificate to uni-assist for evaluation?? Because the VPD is very important sir. Please help me out

As someone in Germany has advised that no age limit for studentkolleg admission, i will also advise that you package ur qualification very well, put all your educational qualifications with transcripts in one pdf and start sending mails to your intended courses coordinators. If you have related work experience in your intended courses get a letter from that employer maybe a recommendation or reference letter stating the duration of your experience with the organization stamp and attach it too.

Send a mail of admission inquiry and ask them to review your documents for possibility of getting admitted..Most of them will give u a response that will guide u whether to continue the application or follow the studentkolleg...

If you used October 1st as start date on that embassy booking portal how do u expect date wen we are already on 5th of October.... Let's us be reasonable and frank with ourselves... Please my brother it's either you defer your admission to summer or seek enrollment extension to January next year so u can cancel ASAP and rebook with later date.

Why are you confusing yourself. No one is saying you must send by post all application form. You were advise based on you mentioning how to send signed application form, and how you can go about it to cut cost.

As you have already seen yourself on the uniassist website not all school require your signature for applications but those that need it you will always see where to sign on the application form generated in pdf on uniassist portal.

The previous advise still stand if you paradventure seen any application that need u to sign you can send the pdf to ur friend in Germany to write your full name and send directly to uniassist.. It can be cheaper that way. Sending it within German can be cheap as 2.45 euro...

hello house earlier I asked about sending signed application forms after I have sent my documents and someone advised its a.must to send application forms by post I had to go back to uni assit website to read thoroughly this is what I found I will also put a call through tomorrow to reconfirm someone cannot be spending money up and dan

I want to believe your school transcripts you are talking about is university or HND transcripts. If eventually you have the original copy of this transcript by hand you don't need to send the original to uniassist.
What you need to do is to make photocopies of these transcripts and other educational certificates and go to High court to get them notorized. You may even book appointment online on the embassy website for certification of documents for universities application...

Also, why would you want to go through studentkolleg admission? when u can directly apply to university with either your university year one or HND transcripts.... Please note you must have minimum of B2 in German to even cope in studentkolleg...

I will advice you read through this thread very again.

Please do not send any original documents to uniassist.

Good morning everyone, i have some few questions to ask , if i finally get my Transcript from my school and make photocopies, do i still have to send the original to uni-assist, and if i do send the original will it be sent back to me as I'll need it when it time for interview.


I plan on going through the studentkolleg route, I'm 25years old, will i be admitted as i heard that they only give studentkolleg admission to people not older than 20.

You alone can search for your prefer schools and courses on daad.de website. You can also search on www.study-in-germany.de for more schools and courses. Please make use of theses websites. And as for applying for vpd now against next year winter, it is too early for that as vpd is only valid for one year. For instance, If you apply now and uniassist process it in November it will expire next year October as stated on uniassist website.

Might add one or two more courses/schools to apply to. I would appreciate recommendations for English-taught Management/Business Master's programmes.

Is it too early to do my VPD, or do I need I wait till the application period starts?

Your case is a very sensitive one. Because you may get a date from the Embassy with that your enrolment deadline. I cant really advise you to cancel. You still have two months plus to December 16th

You cannot upload a signed application form. You are required to sign and send by post. However, if you have a friend in Germany that can assist you send to uniassist you can send the soft copy and he/she will sign by just writing your full name on it with "place" of signing as Lagos, Nigeria. With that you can cut cost.

I intend to apply to 5 schools but the application portal for 4 schools hasn't opened yet so I just did 1 and sent the application form along side my documents I don't know if I can upload the other signed application forms online instead of spending another money to send them has anyone had this experience help please

find out on google your bank current exchange rate for euro to have idea about the conversion rate and ensure you add atleast 500 naira to it

I learned that your transcript is supposed to be signed and stamped on every page. Mine from Uniuyo isn't, it's only the last page that is signed and not even stamped (I'm tired of the people in our schools).

Has anyone had this kind of issue before and did the embassy still certified it?

Even if the system allows doesnt mean it is a good idea. I make reference to it in my previous post to explain to a mate about what i heard and seen but not in total support of it. Note that the action may affect others if you were given date for both CATs. It is stated on the embassy website (which i would advise you to check and read) that one will be bounce back for wrong CAT booking.

So if you are not qualify for CAT A dont book.

Some of this info is rightly with us but we don't check for it... The amount you are allowed to take from the BA is already stated on your *Make the transfer* issued by fintiba which you approved for the BA opening...No authorities is against anyone going to another country at least with 1k Euro...

Why are focusing on getting a job in Germany when u are yet to apply to any German universities! Please set the priority right. I will advice u focus on ur Ukraine university and have a better grade that can give u more or better admission to any German universities...

Germany isn't like Poland thread where they advised u not apply to remote areas universities becos of language and lack of jobs. As a students in Germany u will definitely find ur own job to do.

You need to read the thread from page one. Also check this website daad.de to search for related Bsc courses.

In respect of Letter of English proficiency, please write a letter of request to The Registrar's and submit at the registrar's office.. Don't submit it through the department ooo as this will delay ur request.. After 4-5 days you can go back to the registrar's office and get ur letter....

Bros, you cannot book twice if your passport details is still in their system. Except you book on another CAT, but if it is same CAT you can't book twice. Observation is key here.

What if the embassy doesn't go ahead with the purge? we could end up booking twice? that's my worry.

I dont think anyone will get appointment cancellation. You will just notice that you can rebook even without cancelling your previous booking.

Since you don't have either HND or One year university transcript you cannot apply to any German universities. My advice is you finish one year in Ukraine university afterwards you apply to any university in German. Also note that it is not compulsory you have German language certificate as there are some courses taught fully in English. However, it is would be ideal if u start learning German since ur vision is to study in Germany.

I traveled to Ukraine last year October on student visa, i want to use Ukraine as a route to get to Schengen country where i will be able to study and work. Then Poland came to my mind.

1. At least One year transcripts is required for admission to any Bachelor degree program in Germany.

2. True, Unilag will not give u transcript by hand but u can apply to unilag to send it directly to uni-assist. Notorization is not required when transcripts is sent directly from your university.

However, you will have to subsequently apply for transcripts from unilag to be sent to different schools if u have some German universities with direct application (applications without uniassist). Therefore, i will advise you look for any connect(human beings) in any Nigerian university then ask unilag to send ur transcripts to, so you can have an original which can be use anytime.

Please I'm asking these two questions on behalf of two different people.
1) Can someone apply for Bsc in Germany with first semester result from NOUN. Or it has to be the result for first and second semester of 100 level.
2) Does anyone know how to go about Unilag transcript since they don't give it out to individual.
The transcript needs to be notorized before sending to uni assist.

Am surprised too that OTH requires original copy, cos FHWS accepted email notification too and gave me admission. Although, immediately i uploaded the vpd email notification this Monday they gave me admission right away for winter, but the original hard copy is to be scan and upload for enrollment.

I requested for deferment to summer on Tuesday and it was granted upon resubmision of summer application

Wow, I didn't know that some schools only accept the hard copy. I uploaded the PDF copy that was sent to my mail to the TUM portal and it was accepted. Yes go check the nearest post office to you but depending on when you received the email version it may take a while to arrive Naija. Hopefully your application deadline is not close.

But a school like Ostbayerische Technische Hochschule Amberg-Weiden requires the original copy which they described with "colorful marking". The email vpd has been uploaded on their PRIMUS severally but they keep rejecting since i have been informed by both the coordinator and others in the school.

I think the paper copy is somewhat more original than the email notification cos it comes in letterhead. I will visit the nearby nipost office on Monday to find out if i have a letter.

Yeah they'll send it via NIPOST. But you don't have to wait till it arrives, you can use the PDF they sent via email.

I want to know the courier service UNIASSIST used in sending these correspondences to Nigeria. Could it be received through nipost where one would need to visit nipost office in which your zip code falls?

Why did you keep asking this question! It is stated on the embassy website that their system will be purge at the end of September. Afterwards, the portal will be reopen from 1st of October for summer booking. No one can categorically tell you what is normal about AD right now. You can only be hopeful.

Cat B here, booked interview August 14, no AD till now, is this normal? anyone in the same situation?

This is the first time the embassy is using online appointments booking so no one could confirm that.
