Hmm which one be WES again.. As far as i know there are two 3rd parties evaluation organizations for German universities in which WES wasn't among. Isn't WES evaluate educational documents for CANADA prospective students?

No one have used WES here since have been on this German student thread. However, you may mail your various intended courses coordinators if you need to know.

To spoil the matter, ND and HND doesn't qualify for Msc in German universities. Even both qualifications is not qualify for Msc in Nigeria..

For a friend (CAT B) i booked on September 28th with start date of March 15th and he got AD for January 10th on October 31st....

My brother nothing like someone is attacking you as i was only wondering your real intent of that post until you later clear it. See, we all have different grace, what works for A may not work for B. In my last response to you i was only bringing your consciousness of disparity in the so call recession in both Nigeria and Germany. We all know what we really want out of life... One thing that i have observed in most developed countries is they try to bridge the gap between rich and poor even in their recession condition, but here in my Nigeria is a nightmare. Of course i know things may change later in Germany but before then we can't afford to be discouraged with some of these things.

I have been reading your post but i don't know why you talking like someone who is ignorant. German Central bank has given a warning to the public that the country will likely go into recession. And you are here comparing German recession and Nigeria recession. If a country is experiencing recession Many things gonna change. Attacking me for posting this update does make any sense. In as much as empathize with you, i would say you are depressed because you failed to do proper research. When we usually advice and encourage people to read and research on this waka some people will think we are too harsh or no manner whereas it is for our good. The bolded just shows your lack of extensive research.. How can you say such, that you don't know you only have access to your fund on a monthly basis!

That also means you don't even bother to read the terms and conditions you agreed when you are opening the Block Account!

Is it also must you apply to tuition fee university? Where there over 100 public and state universities with free tuition.

The AD (Jan. 10th) is for summer.

I personally booked for the person that got the date. I booked on September 28th with a start date of March 15th, 2020 on CAT B. The AD came in October 31st (8pm)....

So the purging of system is not real....

It doesn't make any difference. Either colored or black and white photocopy it can be certified, and both is acceptable by uniassist or universities. The most important thing is do not certify or send original copies of certificates or transcripts....

What are you scared of! This German waka is mearnt for the strongest heart not for those with faint heart..Just do more of research you will conquer it.... There are people who graduated with "pass" and still get admitted....

Just gather all educational documents be it university degree and transcript, professional certifications, motivation letter, related work experience references/recommendation letter, IELTS or EPL (though IELTS gives more opportunity for more applications to "open admission" courses) and shoot your shot...

Unsealed the transcript and make photocopies (black and white). Nobody would certify original copies of documents it can only be photocopy of such documents. The high court certified documents is acceptable by uniassist so just make photocopies and certify. Don't send the original sealed copy so that you could always make use of it anytime...

If I take the sealed copy to high court for certification, are they going to unseal it and add their stamp making it acceptable for uni assist
Or I should just re print the coloured transcript (because I have it on my mail also) and take it high court and they stamp it( but the confusion i have with this is that i saw on uni assist website that it should remain sealed)

Please make copies of all your educational documents and proceed to high court for certification. That sealed transcript is not supposed to be in your possession so do not disclose cover page..

The fact that you are in possession of the so call sealed transcripts have make it unacceptable by uniassist unless you take the copy to high court for certification.. It will only be acceptable by uniassist if the sealed transcript is sent directly from your university.

Yes i can understand the trauma of not getting AD for winter especially wen u have load of admissions, but trust me u aren't the only one. I didn't get AD too with 6 admissions letters. It's not your fault since there is no other way to book for appointment than the embassy website. They give AD at their discretion and the journey is per head as they said.

You really need to be careful about some advise as regards AD based on what i have seen so far in this winter. Your instinct and observations should play a better role.. The advise you have gotten in 2 pages here seems to be the best...

The embassy is still busy processing the application of some winter applicants. From people's testimonies here i can see that there are people with AD till 1st of December so i believe from early November AD will start rolling.

Above all let's hold God tight as He is the one that can do it.

I booked for AD for winter semester 2019 but didn't get any, I am only trying to find out what went wrong or what I didn't do properly so it won't happen again this summer.
I read people testimonies and don't forget that could be me. I just want to have the right information either for assurance or for corrective purposes.

Like you said there is still time for summer, from information I get here, I can start a fresh application procedure if what I already done is wrong....

See nobody can specifically tell you what's going on in that Deutschland(embassy) in Nigeria as no one work in that embassy.. Even though there is any of the embassy staff on nairaland i don't think they will be able to give such confidential information..

You need to take a chill as you are not the only one who booked in October! I booked on 8th October too but yet to have a date. There's still time for summer applicants.

Don't over stress urself with this matter.

I booked for AD around 10th of this month( October) with cat B and specified February 15th, 2020 as my start date of study visit, since my school uses 2 weeks for enrolment and commences lectures 5th of March 2020.

Hope the time frame is fine for the embassy to give me AD or is February 15th too close and could hinder me from getting an AD?

You don't need to send another documents if you had sent before. Uniassist documents retention is 1-2 years as stated on their website.

Yes you will be require to pay €75 for the first university application in an any application period (either winter or summer)

All this information is on uniassist website.. Please read and be informed.

What i would just say is admission restricted courses are courses in which the university have a set quota for the admission period (either winter or summer). In this restricted courses applicants are admitted based on highest grade. For example, if the lowest German grade of all applicants is 2.4 that means those that have 2.3, 2.2, 2.1, 2.0, 1.9, to 1.4 will be considered for admission... Importantly, the university will not start the admission processing until after the application deadline. Hence this may delay you getting admitted and booking for student visa appointment date since admission takes longer time...

As for not restricted courses (open admission). These courses considered all applicants for admission! There's no set quota neither grade is strictly considered.. Nevertheless some universities may set 3.0 German grade as benchmark for unrestricted courses..

The advantage for unrestricted courses (open admission) is admission processing start almost immediately you applied (either directly on the university online application or after uniassist had sent your application) and you get admitted within short time (even before the application deadline) if found qualified.

Note that the highest grade for German gp is 1.0 while Nigerian is 5.0. You will need to consult Google on how to do the conversion.

All the story above is already explained on your intended universities website if only you can read extensively...

Why not contact uniassist via their contact form and explain your challenges to them. On the new portal you see this *question mark* sign on the same heading where u see ur username and applicant number... Just click on the question mark and choose the suitable form for contact....

And have registered on d new platform and gotten my old application number back on d new platform buh d previous application on d old platform isn't showin on the new platform.
