Administrative processing is a pain in d ass.i waited for 64 long days before my AP was processed.
You shouldn't b worried if all ur documents r legit.98% of all persons dat go tru this process gat his/her visas, although the duration of the AP might vary individually.With God BY UR Side u should b fine.

As far as u r nigerian.u cant pay ur sevis fee online no matter which creditcard u r usin(i tried it myself, using more dan three different cc from different countries)it wont work.
U could also pay ur sevis fee in naira. (go to www.mysevisfee.com) dey r quite relaible i used dem myself(although u would have to pay some extra service charge).

P.s.if u go tru dis thread from d first page to the last, believe me u have a 90percent chance of getting dis visa witout askin d house any further questions(u would only come here wit ur success story and a big smiling face) because d answers r written all over for u(thnks to d gurus in d house), peace out.

Good job by the pilot, regardless of whether that emergency landing was made by a helicopter or a light plane.   Clearly there was some sort of mechanical failure that required fast action, and the pilot was quick thinking enough to set her down on a school playing field, with no damage to lives, property or the airframe.   

In-flight engine failure leaves only a tiny window of opportunity to execute a safe landing, which, if not taken, will result in a crash that could kill all aboard.  In a helicopter, the pilot will IMMEDIATELY need to lower the collective lever to start an emergency descent, while adjusting the cyclic control for an airspeed of 60 knots, which MUST be maintained until just before impact,when a normal landing flare, performed at precisely the right altitude, will soften the touch-down.   

In a fixed wing aircraft, landing options are even further limited by the need for a runway, and the danger of a stall and crash if airspeed is not maintained during the glide in.

U are right, but remember this is  Augusta139(that is, if its the presidential Rotocraft) ,the autoration procedure should be slightly different and also if it was truely an emergency,then i guess the helicopter wouldnt have taken off immediately(Normal procedures)

i went to renew my expired 2years u.s visa.the interviewer told me that he is not denyning me visa but that my application has to go through what they called ''administrative processing''.its about 3 weeks now and i have not heard from them.please has anybody had this experience before??i need ideas please

Administrative processing is just a fancy way of saying that the officer you interviewed with can do no more on your case. He has approved you for the visa but must check with Washington to make sure it is okay to issue it. This is most common in males 16-45 from certain countries. It doesn't mean you did anything wrong, or that anyone did, but possibly someone with a name close to yours [or something else] did something and they need to clear your name or something about you. It generally has nothing to do with the applicant but the US wants to protect itself from any problems no matter big or small. For the most part, especially students, the case comes back clear and everything is good to go. All you can do is wait patiently and check online. If it gets too close to the time when your I-20 tells you to enter the US I would say very politely call them back to check on the case. For the most part cases take 2 weeks to 90 days to return, though sometimes there is turnarounds of 3 days. Hope it helps!

I do have the same situation as yours, the consular told me that my visa would be ready in two to three weeks ,He said it has to go through the  Administrative process.
Did the consular tell you how long the administrative process is going to last for?if he didn't,then i reckon you either send them an email or give them a ring.

My case, i guess was kind off wierd, because i was interviewed by two different visa officers,
and secondly,dey didnt ask for any documents from me.(still wondering and waiting).

job prospects for pilots(rookies) in nigeria is quite high compared to other countries.but d nigerian aviation is in a recovery process.believe me dere r very few jobs or even no jobs out dere especially for freshers(i personally knw lots of CPL freshers still looking for a jobs), but i think wit tyme it would get better.U could still go for it thou but dont expect to get a job immediately(which could be very fustrating).
