Apart from Peter Obi contesting as VP in 2019, president in 2023, the last local election Peter Obi won in Anambra was when he was a sitting governor. After his tenure, he couldn't win any local election for PDP, same goes for LP and now ADC

That begs the question, what's the political relevancy of Peter Obi in Anambra state. He campaigned for those 2 candidates yet loss

There are two major groups terrorising the people of SE.

1)UGM
2) Nigerian security forces. Both soldiers and police.

Security men will claim to arrest you, but in the actual sense, they are kidnapping you. If you fail to pay ransom, you might not make it out.

They break into your house or pick you along the road, or in a bar/club or kidnap you while driving.

This are mostly rampant in imo and Anambra.

Peter Obi is not on the ballot. It's a different ball game. APGA has grassroot solidarity and appeal in Anambra.

Pre-thumbprinted ballot papers already marked in favour of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) have been intercepted at Aguata High School, Ekwulobia, in Anambra State.

The ballot papers, allegedly prepared for smuggling into the ballot box during the ongoing Anambra South Senatorial by-election, were seized on Saturday.

Donald Amamgbo is the ADC candidate in the election.

The party was recently adopted by former Anambra State governor and 2023 Labour Party presidential candidate, Peter Obi, along with other opposition figures ahead of the 2027 general elections.

Off-cycle elections are going on today across different states in Nigeria including Kaduna, Kano, Ogun, and Oyo states.
