In all fairness, i don't have the right headline to this write-up.

But here we go.

During the Obasanjo regime, being the first democratic regime after the military rule, we all witnessed how active his Vice then was, in the person of Atiku Abubakar. His presence was felt in the government, in the decision making, he granted press conferences, he aired his view on any issue being discussed at the time. That was all untill he fell-out with his boss. We all knew how that story ended.

Now coming to the present administration, we have a Vice president that does not literally exist, we barely hear of him or from him. He has been so quiet that we most a times mistaken the First Lady to be our Vice President(atleast we do here from her, though she sometimes speaks in a language specifically perculiar to her).

During the Chibok issue, i didn't read or heard that this is what our VP said. Even the Boko haram issue that every Dick, Tom and Harry is lending their voices to, i didn't hear his voice.

He sometimes commissions projects on behalf of the President, but is that all?

Could it be that the office of the Vice presidency doesn't have a media team or i am reading the wrong Newspapers.

Could it be that the Jonathans character is so domineering that it left the Sambos lurking in the shadow?

What could be the problem, where is our Vice President?

Would love my EDUCATED colleagues in the house to give their take on this.
