Since you are a person and probably a Nigerian, I believe the right question is: What about YOU?

Just browse thru ur threads, and I was shockd to know dat useem to be @ the forefront in the struggle for naijas divide.
I wouldn't say I am "at the forefront", many others before me have advocated it. But I believe it should stop being a taboo. The North and the Western region asked for secession at different times before the Biafran War. Nigeria was made by the British for British interests. The people that make up what is now Nigeria should decide what their interests are. Nigeria has not served our interests so there is no reason why we shouldn't discuss secession of component parts, as long as we plan for it to be peacefully done without bitterness and reprissals.
PoliticsRe: Will The Igbo Ever Rule Nigeria? by SmartTalk: 5:10pm On Nov 28, 2013
You don't have to be president to rule a country. America has never had a Jewish president, but the Jews essentially rule American financial sector and control American foreign policy. This is what the Igbo should focus on: pursuing our interest and liberalizing the economy in order to unleash our entrepreneurial spirit. We must also work to achieve, as much as possible, a truly democratic regime so we can opt out of Nigeria by referendum.

God bless Biafra!
PoliticsDiete-spiff's Interview With Punch by SmartTalk(op): 10:00am On Nov 25, 2013
I read the interview Diete-Spiff had with the Punch Newspaper correspondent on this site: http://www.punchng.com/feature/interview/national-youth-service-scheme-favours-north-over-south-diete-spiff/

I have a question about the intelligence of journalists and the short term nature of national memory:

Why was he not asked about his role in the 'Abandoned Property' saga in Port Harcourt and how come no one remembers that (reading the comments on the Punch website')?

PoliticsRe: Submission Of Yoruba/itsekiri Groups To The Committee On National Conference by SmartTalk: 5:01am On Oct 24, 2013
sandijey: Mr, that one too dey! Everybody wants the better option. But if u know south-south well, u will no that there Is serious crisis brewing in that region. I personally would advse the igbos there to just follow the east. The people of the niger delta are not united o. Don't be decieved. If u hear what an uhrobo man would say about an ijaw man, the venom he spits will pierce through your skin. Infact south south can break into 4 or 3 other nations if care is not taken. As well as the east anambra can decide to be on their own because they believe they are the most superior igbos. The country breaking up is very complex. If only we were brave enough to cause a revolution and remain one.
It is too simplistic to assume one part of Anambra would choose to stay alone. That's like saying Massachusetts can decide to stay alone because they are richer than most states.
However, I think cooperation between the Yoruba and their relatives in the Niger Delta is good, and I support it. Read more about it here:

I'm not sure what you're talking about, but when you secede, you can define the table statistic to whatever you want it to be.

I don't understand what everyone is getting so excited about. Mr Igbokwe said 'Prime' properties. It is clearly a subjective statement and difficult to verify. Let's have more intelligent discourse on planning for the future. I am still waiting for intelligent contribution on the topic www.nairaland.com/1485623/support-yoruba-nationalism/ .

I wonder why all the hate-filled threads get more attention than more important threads.

Dudu_Negro: We need diversity on our land so Oodua can continue to progress and remain in cultural exclusiveness.
Sure. Biafra does too. But that diversity cannot be by force or by threats. Like I suggested in my link above, the minorities should be given a choice.

Rather than all this childish bickering, we should all be preparing to be prosperous, stable, secure and progressive neighbours. To this end, I created a new line of discussion here: https://www.nairaland.com/1485623/support-yoruba-nationalism/

Dudu_Negro: Tell them we will have three toll gates between Lagos amd Ore. Then there will be a customs post also.

The toll fee will be assessed based on payload tonnage + this is considered an exportation and will therefore incurr tarriffs at the border post.

Ibos with mansions in Lagos be warned. You are better off naturalizing and forget about Biafra than paying through your nose to export your mansion.
Naturalising? No thank you. No one naturalises under duress. And why would you want Igbo people naturalising? I see too many complaint that the Igbo are 'giving Nigeria a bad image'. So this is a contradiction. Please clarify.

Victimization of people from independent states, like Biafra, attracts international sanctions. Just so you know.

madam_oringo: Congratulations! After the SNC and regional governments kick in or we go our separate ways, the C of Os will all be withdrawn automagically! grin grin
How do your leaders plan on seizing Igbo properties without scaring other foreign investors? Even the deportation stupidity of the Lagos government gave concern to others that would be considered to be traditional Yoruba allies, like the Bini and other Niger Deltans.
I want to say your leaders are not that stupi.d, but who knows?
