I have. As a matter of fact, one of his books titled The Pillars of the Earth is probably my favorite book. He is a predominantly a thriller writer, but The Pillars of the Earth is not a thriller. It is a book of over a thousand pages and I think it is blooming fantastic . As a matter of fact, it is the only Ken Follet book I have read (as he mostly writes thrillers and I don't usually go for thrillers).@ Krested, Is there any reason why you wanted to know if anyone has read Ken Follet'e books? |
jaybaby:Oh Boy!!! I AM NOT INTERESTED in that guy. He just looks a lot like Ahmed and I wanted to know if it was him. THATS ALL OOOOOOOOOO!!! ![]() |
Jaybaby, the guy with you looks like one of my brother's friends called Ahmed. Is he? |
jaygurl:Haba Jaygurl, why should you restrict crushes to people of the opposite sex? Me. . . I have a massive crush on HALLE BERRY. She is Hot! Hot!! HOTTTTT!!!. She even looked hotter in the flesh than in her photographs. ![]() |
This was a disaster. So near yet so far. |
COMEON ARSENAL. We can do it. |
Tipping the Velvet by Sarah Waters Great book about Lesbianism in the 19th Century |
The Pillars of the Earth by Ken Follett. This is a brilliant book |
Omo Eko:@Omo Eko, you mean he is autistic (or suffers from/has autism) ![]() |
alabiyemmy:Exactly |
Last I knew, she had a show like Celine Dion in Las Vegas . Love that Girl. |
@ Oriki kekere, Yawning over and over. The diseased rantings of the delusional rat continue. The un-sung self-styled "writer and preacher extraordinaire" continues to sing his own praises in the absence of anyone doing it for him. He goes on and on, and on, and on, and on, and on, and on, and on, and on, and on, and on, and on, and on, and on, and on, and on[b]. . . [/b] [till SMC falls asleep, HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA] ![]() |
@ Orikinla Yadayadayada, and on and on until night falls [Yawns]. Your incredible arrogance flows in your writing once again. Orikinla:I am really laughing hard right now. You must think yourself really special to compare 'your accuser' to Christ's accusers. F.Y.I., I have actually read a lot of writings of Abati, Soyinka and Achebe and I have met the 1st two. Reuben was actually in my class. But that is beside the point. I don't care how many postings or writings you may have. If you don't know it by now, let me educate you a little QUALITY SUPERCEDES QUANTITY. I'm sure you'll refer me to your works so that I can see the "quality". Don't waste your energy because I have no intention of doing that. As regards Oriki, I am shaking my head in disbelief. You have just shown yourself up by displaying your "Intellectual illiteracy" and "Intellectual ignorance". Rule number 1 mate, never assume what you don't know. Rule number 2, never underestimate anyone. Just so you know, I was not "accusing" you. I was just letting you know what I thought. Now that I know that you don't take criticism well, I'll lay off. I won't be joining issues with you after this. Anyhow, I'll leave you to continue singing your own praises. Afterall nobody else is doing it for you [Hahahaha]. ![]() |
