Dont mind the Dunderhead! The man said he wanted to help the family of the Channels camera man who died and outta the millions he has in his bank account, He gave the family 500,000 naira. I was so ashamed when i read it in the newspaper! True, he did something but believe me, he's after naija's money!  

Na wah oh! First of all, yoruba pple dont collect bride price. They will certainly ask u to bring it but on the wedding day, they'll tell you to take it back and use it for your family! But they will collect money for the yong pple in the house, old pple, friends, neighbours e.t.c and e no dey pass 2000 naira! If they ask for boxes wey get cloths, it is for he bride and not her family members. In fact, buying of all the things they request from you is for them to know that u can take care of their daughter. Like some pple said, it shows that you value the woman u are about to get married to. But some families see it AS A WAY TO GET RICH QUICKLY! It's left to the lady coming out of that family to caution them not to make her husband an ATM machine or else, they'll go broke! Was told of a guy who was asked to bring 1.5 million in Edo to marry a lady! Na im the guy REFUSE to take the woman say im no wan marry again. Sometimes the amount is just outrageous but na dialogue go cut am down not anger and walking out on the woman u cherish! Oyinbo fit cheat on you. She fit mess you up and at the end of the day tell u say THIS IS MY HOUSE! GET OUT! Naija woman no go get strength to mess you up so CHOOSE WISELY!

I think it depends on the organization and yourself to a large extent. I work where the boss only likes some pple and he supports them. The others are nonentities! I remember before i took the job he promised to allow me for for the second phase of a training i attended b4 i was called for the interview. When it was time to go for the training, he told me he didnt want to hear about it and i had to be there for a year b4 he will allow me go for the training. Na my money i wan use yet i was denied the chance to go learn! The salary's relatively low and you'll begin to wonder if you're in the right line or you should start changing organizations! Encouragement's next to zero and all the equipments at work are almost spoilt! Well, i have refused to let them run me down. I prefer to change organizations and work for someone who will appreciate my skills and not make me feel like an idiot and i'm a waste of time!
If you can take charge, then it wont affect you! Also if that organization is ready to train you, the better!

I will like to give you guys an illustration here. In November, a corp member asked me to allow her stay in my apartment for a few weeks. I allowed her. During the whole time she was with me , before she went home for the christmas break, she was not cleaning the apartment. She dont cook or clean. Goes out and comes in as she likes! I hated it but i had to allow her cos i had agreed to her staying. After the christmas break, she still came to ask for more permission to stay longer. Hmmmnnn, I accepted thinking she would leave very soon. I started cooking proper in my house, This girl still cant cook or wash the plates she uses to eat. I didnt like that about her but i refusd to force her to do it. i decided to clean and do the right things cos IT IS MY HOUSE! I liked her for company and jist and seeing of movies but i didnt like some of her behaviours. Now, she'll be staying with me till she finishes NYSC. She still dont cook cos she dont like it. I had to give her reasons why she should clean the house and wash plates without making her feel like she was squatting with me. It took lots of patience and self control to do that but today, we're best of friends. It also had something to do with Manner of approach!

I believe this also relates to the person you date or marry cos you will certainly live with the person! You need to be patient and accomodating no matter what! Try not to make your partner feel bad no matter how angry you get! You'll make the person like you back and then you can love each other! It dont matter who likes one person than the other! Pls dont forget God too. Love dont hold relationships or marriage. God does!!!

This might sound so , Have you prayed about it?? Check out the state of your heart with God and spend more time studying his word instead of praying for solutions. He'll come through for you by giving you ideas on what to do and how to relate with your husband better. There are a lot of things to change in your relationship but your marital staus aint one of them. Think back on what he used to do that made you love him, what made you marry him. Those things should put smiles on your face and make you happy. Pls dont do it for your husband or your child. DO IT FOR YOU! You matter a lot. If anything happens to you, the both of them will still live their lives.

Create a convenant time everyday. , . . . i mean Decide that at 10pm - 11pm everyday, i'll study my bible for God to speak to me. When he sees that you keep to it, he'll help you out.
Dont get tired pls. Things will get better. It may take a while but it will certainly be better!

I used to think that when you obey God's law, God will come down and salute me. Or send someone to encourage me. Hmmnnnn, recently i realised that it's a lie from the pit of hell. Lemme tell you something about God's law of NO SEX BEFORE MARRAGE. It is simply to save you from unnecessary heart aches, h. i v., s.t.d, unwanted pregnancy, abortions, ridicule and disgrace. If you dont have all of these mentioned, who will have peace of mind God or yourself If you sleep with a guy who messes you up in your neigbourhood or office, who ends up getting the disgrace? I know pple who have dated in the office, slept with themselves. One of them had to leave the job not because the pay wasnt good but because of the embarassment. Tell me, couldnt they have saved themselves the shame

About trust, it depends on what made the trust get lost in the first place. It takes time for a person to trust his / her partner but during that so called time, na doubt go wan kill the other person cos you'll start wondering what your spouse's doing. It's such a nasty experience. Every minute u think, your blood pressure goes up. You feel so uncomfortable yet you dont want the other person to feel you're trailing him / her so u dont call to find out where or what he/ she's doing. Its crazy!

Good evening everone. I'm bringing this up because i need advice. I'm in love with a divorced man. He has 2 kids. I love him so much but fear that his wife may pop up anytime from the states made me break up the relationship twice. I cant seem to forget him and honestly, i believe he deserves a chance. Knowledge is cheaper and ignorance can cause your death. I read a story yesterday of a man who packed into a 3 bedroom flat wit 3 cars and lots of property. I think dats why there's the chance for courtship. To be able to jist and talk bout ur problems and get real close. Marital and relationship problems and should not be discussed outside the home with friends. A manfriend or woman friend might just sieze d opportunity to break up the relationship so as date d woman or the man. vice versa. Men can be soooo confused at times.
