Primero Transport Limited, operators of Bus Rapid Transit popularly known as BRT was involved in an accident this morning at Mile 12 area of Lagos State. The accident which occurred at about 5am 16th September, 2016 had at least one casualty with serious injuries. As at the time of filling this report, eyewitnesses said there were about seven passengers in the bus while one of them had a severe injuries.

The cause of the accident is unknown. However, certain people who claim to have had a premonition of the incident disclosed that the Underwater Goddess is angry that her worshippers within the said area had neglected their spiritual obligations. You may have heard the story a few months ago about an Atlanta-based minister who claimed he needed a $65 million private jet so he could "safely and swiftly share the Good News of the Gospel worldwide." But almost as quickly as Pastor Creflo Dollar asked his 200,000 followers to each donate $300.00 towards the purchase of a luxurious jet, the campaign vanished and was removed from his website.
But now, the board of World Changers Church International -- which also operates as Creflo Dollar Ministries, has announced it is ready to purchase the plane.

"We plan to acquire a Gulfstream G650 because it is the best, and it is a reflection of the level of excellence at which this organization chooses to operate."

This has got to be one of the biggest shams ever, and there's so much delusion it's hard to even figure out where to begin.
Let's start with the money. Imagine what could be accomplished with $65 million! That's a lot of money. Do you think Jesus would have wanted his earthly representatives travelling the globe in luxurious accommodations? Or do you think Jesus would have wanted to see that $65 million used to feed the poor, help the homeless, improve education, or just make some kind of huge impact to help humanity?
World Changers Church International said, "A long-range, high-speed, intercontinental jet aircraft is a tool that is necessary in order to fulfill the mission of the ministry."

Sure, who wouldn't want such a nice aircraft to travel the world? I know I would and I bet you would, too. And if you're one of the few people in this world who can afford one, go for it! But when you start hitting up your congregants -- many of whom struggle with their day-to-day finances and barely have enough money to provide the basic necessities for themselves and their families -- that's when something has to be done.
What about flying commercially? Jesus travelled on foot and by donkey. Granted there were no Gulfstream G650s back in the day, but if there were somehow I don't think you would have seen Jesus flying around in one. Dollar resides in Atlanta, the city with the world's largest airport with flights to every major international destination on a daily basis. Certainly it would be more cost effective for his flock to do their work around the world this way.

But after all, God told him to buy the plane. Dollar said, "If I want to believe God for a $65 million plane, you cannot stop me. You cannot stop me from dreaming. I'm gonna dream until Jesus comes."

I don't know what's worse: the fact that Creflo Dollar believes God spoke to him and told him to buy this jet, or the fact that people are so gullible and delusional and are actually supporting this guy. Of course, as Dollar puts it, it's simply part of what he calls "prosperity theology," in other words, giving of your own money to the church because by doing so your level of personal wealth is blessed and will grow significantly.
It's not surprising, really, that people buy into this nonsense. After studying mental toughness training for the last 31 years, there's a definite pattern of people who are operating from a weak state of mind to be more vulnerable to the suspension of critical thinking and doing anything that makes them feel better. Being addicted to the emotion of hope is a killer, so when Pastor Dollar tells them to give $300.00 and reminds them of the promise of everlasting life, a mansion in the sky and being reunited with loved ones, it sure sounds pretty good.

The bottom line: It's time for people to wake up and stop being stupid! Stop being manipulated and giving your money to the power hungry religious leader who owns two Rolls Royce cars and multiple multi-million-dollar homes. Creflo Dollar is a fake. If he was so genuinely concerned about doing good and Godly deeds, he would be raising $65 million to truly make a difference in the lives of so many. Instead, he'll be enjoying a better than first-class experience as he jets around the world in style laughing at the farce he created.

It took Mark Jordan one year to train for an astonishing new world record and just one day to break it.

The 54-year-old Jordan has been recognized by the Guinness Book of World Records as the world record holder for most pull-ups in one day. Jordan completed 4,321 pull-ups, breaking the previous mark by more than 100.

For Jordan, his achievement shows that people are never too old to hit the gym.

“This is about a message that it’s important to be able to take care of your health in many ways, no matter what age you are,” Jordan told the television station KRIS-6. “The benefits are something than can not only help you but allows you to be able to provide guidance and inspire others as well.”

Jordan set the mark in November 2014, but the Guinness Book of World Records didn't certify the mark until Monday.

Throughout his training and during the actual event, Jordan was raising money for a charity called HELP, the Hammons Education Leadership Program.

As for why he stopped at 4,321, Jordan says the consecutive nature of those four digits would make the number easy to remember.

The previous record was 4,210, set by Australia's Caine Eckstein in October.

The couple identify three distinguishing features these eight peoples have that guarantees them success over others; superiority, insecurity and impulse control.

Amy Chau, 51, breaks down the 'Triple Package' for her readers as follows:

1) A superiority complex: Chau believes that any cultural group who innately thinks they are just better than others has an advantage.
Ignoring the wars, genocide and abject human misery this kind of thinking has caused, Chau and her husband declare that 'the superiority complex is antithetical to mainstream liberal thinking...the stuff of racism , colonialism, imperialism, Nazism.'

The Lagos State chapter of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) has warned former Lagos State Governor, Bola Tinubu, to rescind his decision to impose his young daughter, Shade Tinubu-Ojo, as the new leader of the state’s marketwomen.

In a statement signed by the Publicity Secretary Taofik Gani, the Lagos PDP said that “the much-touted democrat should allow the simple tenets of democracy to prevail in the selection of a new leader for the market women, more so as there is no cogent evidence that his nominee and daughter is a full-time market woman.”

BOSTON—A late-night police chase and shootout has left one marathon bombing suspect dead and another on the run, police here said, as residents of the still-grieving city were ordered by officials to "shelter in place" while the manhunt continues. One police officer was killed and another was seriously wounded during the violent spree.
The Associated Press identified the surviving Boston bomb suspect as Dzhokhar A. Tsarnaev, 19, of Cambridge, Mass., and said that the suspects were brothers. The second bombing suspect is Tamerlan Tsarnaev, 26, according to NBC News, who was found with an IED on his body. The brothers are of Chechen origin, a volatile southern Russian republic. Photographer Johannes Hirn took this photo essay of the older brother, a boxer. The captions suggest Tsarnaev came to America as a child with his family as refugees after fleeing Chechnya. Dhokhar Tsarnaev posted links to Islamic and pro-Chechnyan independence sites on what appears to be his social media page.
The suspects' uncle told the local CBS News station that the pair had lived in the country since 2001. The uncle, when told that one of his nephews was killed, replied that he deserved it. “He deserved his. He absolutely deserved his,” Ruslan Tsarni said. “They do not deserve to live on this earth.”
Tsarni said he learned his nephews were suspects by reading a Russian language news source. "Since these people do have association to me by blood, I say they're barbarians," he added. "What can I say to people who he murdered? Sympathy. Condolences. I'm with them."
Tsarnaev's father, reached by the AP in Russia by phone, said his son was a "true angel" and wonderful student. He later told ABC's Good Morning America that he wanted his son to surrender peacefully.
The University of Massachusetts at Dartmouth announced shortly after 10:30 a.m. on Friday that they were evacuating the entire campus after learning Tsarnaev is a student there.
At sunrise, Gov. Deval Patrick ordered a shutdown of all public transit and residents on the edges of Boston to stay indoors as a massive manhunt for the second suspect was underway. The entire city in Boston was under a shelter in place order by late Friday morning.
“This situation is grave and we are trying to protect the public safety,” said Massachusetts State Police Col. Timothy Alben, who ordered a lockdown of Watertown, Waltham, Belmont, Cambridge, Newton, Allston and Brighton. A no fly zone has been declared over Watertown. The city of Boston was eerily quiet during Friday's rush hour, the city's busy intersections totally abandoned.

Federal agents swarmed Watertown after local police were involved in a car chase and shootout with the men identified Thursday by the FBI as Suspect 1 and Suspect 2 in the Boston bombings. During the pursuit, officers could be heard on police radio traffic describing the men as having handguns, grenades and other explosives.

The mayhem began at approximately 10:20 p.m. Thursday when police said the bombing suspects robbed a 7-Eleven store in Cambridge. Minutes later, police said, the men shot and killed an MIT campus officer responding to the robbery call. The terror suspects then carjacked a Mercedes-Benz with the driver inside and fled, eventually letting driver go. They were then spotted in Watertown where they exchanged dozens of rounds of gunfire with patrol officers.
Tamerlan Tsarnaev was shot by police and brought to Beth Israel Medical Center. He arrived at the hospital under cardiac arrest with multiple gunshot wounds and blast-like injuries to his chest. The second suspect fled on foot, leading to the tense manhunt that is still underway at this hour.

"We believe this to be a terrorist," said Boston police Commissioner Ed Davis. "We believe this to be a man who has come here to kill people. We need to get him into custody."
A transit officer, Richard H. Donohue, was seriously wounded during the exchange of gunfire, officials said.

Boston police says the suspect who remains at large was the "one in the white hat" seen in the photos released by the FBI on Thursday in the investigation into the twin explosions that killed 3 people and injured 170 others at the Boston Marathon on Monday.
In a radio alert sent issued to fellow officers, the suspect was described as a "white male with dark complexion ... with thick curly hair wearing a charcoal gray hooded sweatshirt ... possibly with an assault rifle and explosives." Police in Watertown, Newton, Brighton and Cambridge were put on high alert. "Units use caution," an officer said. "He might have an explosive object on his person."
Worried residents in Watertown, a suburb about 8 miles from downtown Boston, were ordered to stay indoors and turn off their cell phones out of fear that they could trigger improvised explosive devices.

The Watertown shootout occurred after a gunfight erupted near the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, where the MIT police officer, 26-year-old Sean Collier, was shot and later died. The campus was placed on lockdown for several hours, and students were told to remain indoors.

Shortly before 2 a.m. Friday, MIT issued a statement on its website saying that the suspect "in this evening's shooting is no longer on campus. It is now safe to resume normal activities. Please remain vigilant in the coming hours." MIT, Harvard, Boston University and other local colleges have cancelled classes.
President Barack Obama, who attended an interfaith service for the bombing victims in Boston on Thursday, was briefed on the overnight developments, the White House said early Friday.

At approximately 3:30 a.m., Massachusetts State Police issued a plea on Twitter for residents of Watertown to lock their doors and not open them for anyone as they searched backyards and exteriors of houses there.
"Residents in and around Watertown should stay in their residences," the alert read. "Do NOT answer door unless it is an identified police officer."

Police were able to track down images of the suspects after a victim of the attacks, Jeff Bauman, came to them with a description, Bloomberg reported Thursday. Bauman's legs were torn apart by the bomb.
