hollaytan:
To all those of you that condemns islam, i will tell you that islam has nothing to do with terrorism...............terrorism had being in a very long time.
lets go down the history and see
MUSLIMS ARE NOT TERRORISTS AND TERRORISTS ARE NOT MUSLIMS."

In the HISTORY of the world, who has KILLED maximum l INNOCENT human beings

1) "Hitler"
Do you know who he was?

He was a Christian, but media will never call Christians terrorists.

2) "Joseph Stalin called as Uncle Joe".

He has killed 20 million human beings including 14.5 million were starved to death.

Was he a Muslim?

3) "Mao Tse Tsung (China)"

He has killed 14 to 20 million human beings.

Was he a Muslim?

4) "Benito Mussolini (Italy)"

He has killed 400 thousand human beings.

Was he a Muslim?

5) "Ashoka" In Kalinga Battle

He has killed 100 thousand human beings.

Was he a Muslim?

6) Embargo put by George Bush in Iraq,

1/2 million children
has been killed in Iraq alone!!! Imagine these people are never called terrorists by the media.

Why?

Today the majority of the non-muslims are afraid by hearing the words "JIHAD".

Jihad is an Arabic word which comes from root Arabic word "JAHADA" which means "TO STRIVE" or "TO STRUGGLE" against evil and for justice. It does not
mean killing innocents.

The difference is we stand against evil, not with evil".

You still think that ISLAM is the problem?

1. The First World War, 17 million dead
(caused by non-Muslim).

2. The Second World War, 50-55 million dead (caused by non-Muslim).

3. Nagasaki atomic bombs 200000 dead
(caused by non-Muslim).

4. The War in Vietnam, over 5 million dead (caused by non-Muslim).

5. The War in Bosnia/Kosovo, over 5,00,000 dead (caused by non-Muslim).

6. The War in Iraq (so far) 12,000,000 deaths
(caused by non-Muslim).

7. Afghanistan, Iraq, Palestine, Burma etc (caused by non-Muslim).

8. In Cambodia 1975-1979, almost 3 million deaths (caused by non-Muslim).

"MUSLIMS ARE NOT TERRORISTS
AND
TERRORISTS ARE NOT MUSLIMS."

Please remove first double standards on Killings.

Please share as much as you can if you are a Muslim..

Some evil doers are just committing atrocities in the guise of islam.......
. [b] The Quran:
Quran (2:191-193) - "And kill them
wherever you find them, and turn them
out from where they have turned you out.
And Al-Fitnah [disbelief or unrest] is
worse than killing...
but if they desist, then lo! Allah is
forgiving and merciful. And fight them
until there is no more Fitnah [disbelief
and worshipping of others along with
Allah] and worship is for Allah alone.
But if they cease, let there be no
transgression except against Az-
Zalimun (the polytheists, and wrong-
doers, etc.)" (Translation is from the
Noble Quran) The verse prior to this
(190) refers to "fighting for the cause of
Allah those who fight you" leading some
to believe that the entire passage refers
to a defensive war in which Muslims are
defending their homes and families. The
historical context of this passage is not
defensive warfare, however, since
Muhammad and his Muslims had just
relocated to Medina and were not under
attack by their Meccan adversaries. In
fact, the verses urge offensive warfare, in
that Muslims are to drive Meccans out of
their own city (which they later did).
Verse 190 thus means to fight those who
offer resistance to Allah's rule (ie.
Muslim conquest). The use of the word
"persecution" by some Muslim
translators is disingenuous (the actual
Arabic words for persecution - "idtihad" -
and oppression - a variation of "z-l-m" -
do not appear in the verse). The word
used instead, "fitna", can mean
disbelief, or the disorder that results
from unbelief or temptation. This is
certainly what is meant in this context
since the violence is explicitly
commissioned "until religion is for Allah"
- ie. unbelievers desist in their unbelief.
Quran (2:244) - "Then fight in the cause
of Allah, and know that Allah Heareth
and knoweth all things."
Quran (2:216) - " Fighting is prescribed
for you , and ye dislike it. But it is
possible that ye dislike a thing which is
good for you, and that ye love a thing
which is bad for you. But Allah knoweth,
and ye know not." Not only does this
verse establish that violence can be
virtuous, but it also contradicts the myth
that fighting is intended only in self-
defense, since the audience was
obviously not under attack at the time.
From the Hadith, we know that this verse
was narrated at a time that Muhammad
was actually trying to motivate his
people into raiding merchant caravans
for loot.
Quran (3:56) - "As to those who reject
faith, I will punish them with terrible
agony in this world and in the Hereafter,
nor will they have anyone to help."
Quran (3:151) - "Soon shall We cast
terror into the hearts of the Unbelievers,
for that they joined companions with
Allah, for which He had sent no
authority". This speaks directly of
polytheists, yet it also includes
Christians, since they believe in the
Trinity (ie. what Muhammad incorrectly
believed to be 'joining companions to
Allah').
Quran (4:74) - "Let those fight in the way
of Allah who sell the life of this world for
the other. Whoso fighteth in the way of
Allah, be he slain or be he victorious, on
him We shall bestow a vast reward." The
martyrs of Islam are unlike the early
Christians, who were led meekly to the
slaughter. These Muslims are killed in
battle as they attempt to inflict death
and destruction for the cause of Allah.
This is the theological basis for today's
suicide bombers.
Quran (4:76) - "Those who believe fight in
the cause of Allah…"
Quran (4:89) - "They but wish that ye
should reject Faith, as they do, and thus
be on the same footing (as they): But take
not friends from their ranks until they
flee in the way of Allah (From what is
forbidden). But if they turn renegades,
seize them and slay them wherever ye find
them; and (in any case) take no friends or
helpers from their ranks."
Quran (4:95) - "Not equal are those of the
believers who sit (at home), except those
who are disabled (by injury or are blind
or lame, etc.), and those who strive hard
and fight in the Cause of Allah with their
wealth and their lives. Allah has preferred
in grades those who strive hard and fight
with their wealth and their lives above
those who sit (at home). Unto each, Allah
has promised good (Paradise), but Allah
has preferred those who strive hard and
fight, above those who sit (at home) by a
huge reward " This passage criticizes
"peaceful" Muslims who do not join in
the violence, letting them know that they
are less worthy in Allah's eyes. It also
demolishes the modern myth that "Jihad"
doesn't mean holy war in the Quran, but
rather a spiritual struggle. Not only is
this Arabic word (mujahiduna) used in
this passage, but it is clearly not
referring to anything spiritual, since the
physically disabled are given exemption.
(The Hadith reveals the context of the
passage to be in response to a blind
man's protest that he is unable to engage
in Jihad, which would not make sense if
it meant an internal struggle).
Quran (4:104) - "And be not weak hearted
in pursuit of the enemy; if you suffer
pain, then surely they (too) suffer pain as
you suffer pain..." Is pursuing an injured
and retreating enemy really an act of
self-defense?
Quran (5:33) - "The punishment of those
who wage war against Allah and His
messenger and strive to make mischief in
the land is only this, that they should be
murdered or crucified or their hands and
their feet should be cut off on opposite
sides or they should be imprisoned; this
shall be as a disgrace for them in this
world, and in the hereafter they shall
have a grievous chastisement"
Quran (8:12) - "I will cast terror into the
hearts of those who disbelieve. Therefore
strike off their heads and strike off every
fingertip of them" No reasonable person
would interpret this to mean a spiritual
struggle.
Quran (8:15) - "O ye who believe! When
ye meet those who disbelieve in battle,
turn not your backs to them. (16)Whoso
on that day turneth his back to them,
unless maneuvering for battle or intent to
join a company, he truly hath incurred
wrath from Allah, and his habitation will
be hell, a hapless journey's end."
Quran (8:39) - "And fight with them until
there is no more fitna (disorder, unbelief)
and religion should be only for Allah"
Some translations interpret "fitna" as
"persecution", but the traditional
understanding of this word is not
supported by the historical context (See
notes for 2:193). The Meccans were
simply refusing Muhammad access to
their city during Haj. Other Muslims
were allowed to travel there - just not as
an armed group, since Muhammad had
declared war on Mecca prior to his
eviction. The Meccans were also acting
in defense of their religion, since it was
Muhammad's intention to destroy their
idols and establish Islam by force (which
he later did). Hence the critical part of
this verse is to fight until "religion is only
for Allah" , meaning that the true
justification of violence was the unbelief
of the opposition. According to the Sira
(Ibn Ishaq/Hisham 324) Muhammad
further explains that "Allah must have no
rivals."
Quran (8:57) - "If thou comest on them in
the war, deal with them so as to strike
fear in those who are behind them, that
haply they may remember."
Quran (8:67) - "It is not for a Prophet
that he should have prisoners of war
until he had made a great slaughter in
the land... "
Quran (8:59-60) - "And let not those who
disbelieve suppose that they can outstrip
(Allah's Purpose). Lo! they cannot
escape. Make ready for them all thou
canst of (armed) force and of horses
tethered, that thereby ye may dismay the
enemy of Allah and your enemy."
Quran (8:65) - "O Prophet, exhort the
believers to fight..."
Quran (9:5) - "So when the sacred
months have passed away, then slay the
idolaters wherever you find them, and
take them captive and besiege them and
lie in wait for them in every ambush, then
if they repent and keep up prayer and pay
the poor-rate, leave their way free to
them." According to this verse, the best
way of staying safe from Muslim
violence is to convert to Islam (prayer
(salat ) and the poor tax (zakat) are
among the religion's Five Pillars). This
popular claim that the Quran only
inspires violence within the context of
self-defense is seriously challenged by
this passage as well, since the Muslims to
whom it was written were obviously not
under attack. Had they been, then there
would have been no waiting period
(earlier verses make it a duty for
Muslims to fight in self-defense, even
during the sacred months). The
historical context is Mecca after the
idolaters were subjugated by Muhammad
and posed no threat. Once the Muslims
had power, they violently evicted those
unbelievers who would not convert.
Quran (9:14) - "Fight against them so
that Allah will punish them by your
hands and disgrace them and give you
victory over them and heal the breasts of
a believing people." Humiliating and
hurting non-believers not only has the
blessing of Allah, but it is ordered as a
means of carrying out his punishment
and even "healing" the hearts of
Muslims.
Quran (9:20) - "Those who believe, and
have left their homes and striven with
their wealth and their lives in Allah's way
are of much greater worth in Allah's
sight. These are they who are
triumphant." The Arabic word
interpreted as "striving" in this verse is
the same root as "Jihad". The context is
obviously holy war.
Quran (9:29) - "Fight those who believe
not in Allah nor the Last Day, nor hold
that forbidden which hath been forbidden
by Allah and His Messenger, nor
acknowledge the religion of Truth, (even if
they are) of the People of the Book, until
they pay the Jizya with willing
submission, and feel themselves
subdued." "People of the Book" refers to
Christians and Jews. According to this
verse, they are to be violently
subjugated, with the sole justification
being their religious status. Verse 9:33
tells Muslims that Allah has charted them
to make Islam "superior over all
religions." This chapter was one of the
final "revelations" from Allah and it set
in motion the tenacious military
expansion, in which Muhammad's
companions managed to conquer two-
thirds of the Christian world in the next
100 years. Islam is intended to dominate
all other people and faiths.
Quran (9:30) - "And the Jews say: Ezra is
the son of Allah; and the Christians say:
The Messiah is the son of Allah; these are
the words of their mouths; they imitate
the saying of those who disbelieved
before; may Allah destroy them; how they
are turned away!"
Quran (9:38-39) - "O ye who believe!
what is the matter with you, that, when
ye are asked to go forth in the cause of
Allah, ye cling heavily to the earth? Do ye
prefer the life of this world to the
Hereafter? But little is the comfort of this
life, as compared with the Hereafter.
Unless ye go forth, He will punish you
with a grievous penalty, and put others
in your place." This is a warning to
those who refuse to fight, that they will
be punished with Hell.[\b]

obviously holy war.
Quran (9:29) - "Fight those who believe

that forbidden which hath been forbidden
by Allah and His Messenger, nor
acknowledge the religion of Truth, (even if
they are) of the People of the Book, until
they pay the Jizya with willing
submission, and feel themselves
subdued." "People of the Book" refers to
Christians and Jews. According to this
verse, they are to be violently
subjugated, with the sole justification
being their religious status. Verse 9:33
tells Muslims that Allah has charted them
to make Islam "superior over all
religions." This chapter was one of the
final "revelations" from Allah and it set
in motion the tenacious military
expansion, in which Muhammad's
companions managed to conquer two-

all other people and faiths.
Quran (9:30) - "And the Jews say: Ezra is
the son of Allah; and the Christians say:
The Messiah is the son of Allah; these are
the words of their mouths; they imitate
the saying of those who disbelieved
before; may Allah destroy them; how they
are turned away!"
Quran (9:38-39) - "O ye who believe!
what is the matter with you, that, when
ye are asked to go forth in the cause of
Allah, ye cling heavily to the earth? Do ye
prefer the life of this world to the
Hereafter? But little is the comfort of this
life, as compared with the Hereafter.
Unless ye go forth, He will punish you
with a grievous penalty, and put others
in your place." This is a warning to
those who refuse to fight, that they will
be punished with Hell.
Quran (9:41) - "Go forth, light-armed and
heavy-armed, and strive with your wealth
and your lives in the way of Allah! That is
best for you if ye but knew." See also the
verse that follows (9:42 ) - "If there had
been immediate gain (in sight), and the
journey easy, they would (all) without
doubt have followed thee, but the
distance was long, (and weighed) on
them" This contradicts the myth that
Muslims are to fight only in self-defense,
since the wording implies that battle will
be waged a long distance from home (in
another country and on Christian soil, in
this case, according to the historians).
Quran (9:73) - "O Prophet! strive hard
against the unbelievers and the
hypocrites and be unyielding to them; and
their abode is hell, and evil is the
destination." Dehumanizing those who
reject Islam, by reminding Muslims that
unbelievers are merely firewood for
Hell, makes it easier to justify slaughter.
It also explains why today's devout
Muslims have little regard for those
outside the faith.
Quran (9:88) - "But the Messenger, and
those who believe with him, strive and
fight with their wealth and their persons:
for them are (all) good things: and it is
they who will prosper."
Quran (9:111) - "Allah hath purchased of
the believers their persons and their
goods; for theirs (in return) is the garden
(of Paradise): they fight in His cause,
and slay and are slain : a promise
binding on Him in truth, through the
Law, the Gospel, and the Quran: and who
is more faithful to his covenant than
Allah? then rejoice in the bargain which
ye have concluded: that is the
achievement supreme." How does the
Quran define a true believer?
Quran (9:123) - "O you who believe! fight
those of the unbelievers who are near to
you and let them find in you hardness."
Quran (17:16) - "And when We wish to
destroy a town, We send Our
commandment to the people of it who
lead easy lives, but they transgress
therein; thus the word proves true
against it, so We destroy it with utter
destruction." Note that the crime is
moral transgression, and the punishment
is "utter destruction." (Before ordering
the 9/11 attacks, Osama bin Laden first
issued Americans an invitation to
Islam).
Quran (18:65-81) - This parable lays the
theological groundwork for honor
killings, in which a family member is
murdered because they brought shame to
the family, either through apostasy or
perceived moral indiscretion. The story
(which is not found in any Jewish or
Christian source) tells of Moses
encountering a man with "special
knowledge" who does things which don't
seem to make sense on the surface, but
are then justified according to later
explanation. One such action is to
murder a youth for no apparent reason
(74). However, the wise man later
explains that it was feared that the boy
would "grieve" his parents by
"disobedience and ingratitude." He was
killed so that Allah could provide them a
'better' son. (Note: This is one reason
why honor killing is sanctioned by
Sharia. Reliance of the Traveler (Umdat
al-Saliq) says that punishment for
murder is not applicable when a parent
or grandparent kills their offspring

FamilyPIC: Tycoon Buys $48m Blue Diamond At Auction For Daughter by smogup(op): 7:15am On Nov 13, 2015
A 12.03-t blue diamond has been auctioned in
Geneva for a record $48.4m (£31.7m) to a Hong
Kong tycoon.
Joseph Lau confirmed he bought the ring-
mounted, cushion-shaped stone for his seven-
year-old daughter, renaming it "Blue Moon of
Josephine" after her.
Auction house Sotheby's said the sale had set
"a new world auction record for any diamond of
any colour".
It is not the first time Lau, a property
billionaire, has bought precious stones for his
daughter.
The businessman - who was convicted of bribery
and money laundering in 2014 - is also confirmed
as the buyer of a 16.08-carat pink diamond,
which Christie's sold for $28.5m on Tuesday.
It has been renamed "Sweet Josephine", a
spokeswoman for Mr Lau told BBC News.
In 2009, he bought another blue diamond for his
daughter - the 7.03-carat "Star of Josephine" -
paying what was then a record $9.5m.
He was sentenced to five years in jail after his
corruption convictions in a Macau court, but has
avoided prison by not visiting the territory.
There is no extradition treaty between Macau
and Hong Kong.
'Beautiful stone'
Sotheby's spokesman David Bennett described
Wednesday's blue diamond as "magical".
"I've never seen a more beautiful stone," he
said.
"The shape, the colour, the purity, it's a
magical stone and everybody, I think, who put
it on their finger thought so."
Two bidders were locked in a telephone bidding
war for eight minutes before the hammer went
down on Wednesday's sale, correspondents say,
with the jewel not exceeding its pre-sale
estimate of $35-$55m.
The diamond was found in South Africa in
January last year and its striking blue colour
is attributed to the presence of the element
boron within its crystal structure.
It was named "Blue Moon" to reflect its rarity.
Experts say the market for coloured diamonds
has become increasingly strong in recent months,
with both blue and pink diamonds attracting a
lot of attention in jewel sales in Geneva.
Coloured diamonds are among the rarest in the
world, even ones that are not particularly vivid
or clear.
The Graff Pink - a 24.78-carat pink diamond
auctioned for $46.2 million in Geneva in 2010 -
was the previous diamond world auction record
holder.
In 2013 a diamond known as the Pink Star was
sold for what was then believed to be a record
breaking $83m (£52m) - also at a Sotheby's
auction in Geneva.
However, the buyer later defaulted on the
purchase, and Sotheby's was forced to buy the
diamond under its auction contract.

PoliticsICC To Probe Incitement Allegations Against Patience Jonathan by smogup(op): 4:32pm On Mar 17, 2015
The International Criminal Court, ICC, said it would investigate allegations of incitement against the First Lady, Dame Patience Jonathan,The Cable, an online newspaper reported yesterday. The decision to investigate and possibly prosecute the First Lady followed a petition submitted to the ICC by All Progressives Congress Presidential Campaign Organization, APCPCO.

The Director-General of the APCPCO, Governor Rotimi Amaechi of Rivers State had last week signed the petition against the First Lady, alleging incitement during her recent campaign speeches in some sections of the country. Following the petition,The Cable had sought confirmation from the Office of The Prosecutor, OTP, at the ICC over the issue.
The OTP in its confirmation of the petition claimed to have formally received the petition and would consider it within the ambits of the law. It said: “Under Article 15 of the Rome Statute, the Prosecutor of the ICC may receive information on crimes within the jurisdiction on the Court (also called ‘communications’),”The Cablequoted the OTP to have said.

Response
It said: “With regards to your enquiry, the Office of the Prosecutor of the International Criminal Court can confirm receipt of the communication referred to since the sender of the communication has made this fact public in the media. “The Office will give consideration to this communication, as appropriate, in accordance with the provisions of the Rome Statute of the International Criminal Court, as it does with all such communications.”
The online medium had also quoted the United Kingdom branch of APC to have also confirmed receipt and adoption of the petition. “The ICC, based in The Hague, has sent confirmation to APC-UK, that an investigation will begin against Mrs Jonathan, who repeatedly called for the stoning of opposition APC members as captured in the videos released earlier this month,” the party was quoted to have said.
“The criminal case investigation ICC reference number is: OTP-CR-83/15,” it added. Mrs. Jonathan has drawn mixed reactions on some of her statements, including statements urging supporters to stone anyone that comes to preach change to them. Also yesterday, Fatou Bensouda, prosecutor of the International Criminal Court, had in a statement affirmed that Nigerians, who provoke violence ahead of, during and after the elections could be liable to sanctions from the ICC.

The statement
He said: “Following my statement of February 2, and my Office’s subsequent visit to Nigeria from of February 3 to 5, I reiterate my previous message. “At a time when abhorrent levels of violence already plague parts of the country, I recall that the International Criminal Court (‘ICC’ or the ‘Court’) has jurisdiction over Rome Statute crimes committed on the territory of Nigeria.
“Any person who incites or engages in acts of violence in the context of the upcoming elections or otherwise— including by ordering, inciting, encouraging or contributing to the commission of crimes that fall within ICC’s jurisdiction— is liable to prosecution; “Either by Nigerian courts or by the ICC. No one should doubt my Office’s resolve to prosecute individuals responsible for the commission of ICC crimes, whenever necessary.
“Violence is not a solution. The conduct and outcome of elections in Nigeria, free from violence, will not only prevent further instability in the country, but will also send a clear message that electoral competition does not have to result in violence and crimes that shock the conscience of humanity.”

CrimeYouths Protest Killing Of 22-year-old Protea Hotel Worker [PHOTO] by smogup(op): 3:31pm On Mar 17, 2015
No fewer than 100 angry residents of Second Freedom Street, off Stadium Road, on Monday stormed the premises of Protea Hotel in Benin, Edo State, to protest against the killing of a 22-year-old man, Chibuike Edeh, a housekeeping employee of the hotel.
The protesters, who were dressed in black, with placards and photos of the slain man, barricaded the entrance to the hotel and prevented its staff and customers from either gaining access or leaving the premises.
One of the photos showed that the deceased suffered a deep cut in his left jaw.
PUNCH Metrogathered that the 22-year-old from the Nkanu East Local Government Area of Enugu State, had been arrested by the police and taken to the Adesuwa Police Station after he was accused by the management of the hotel of stealing N42,000 from one of the rooms.
But some of the youths said the late Chibuike was unjustly killed, as he was known for his honesty.
The brother of the deceased, Chibuzo, said the family was informed of his arrest and told to provide the stolen money and an undisclosed amount for his bail.
Chibuzo added that later, his brother could not be found either at the hotel or the police station.
He told our correspondent that the family was shocked when it discovered the man’s corpse at the University of Benin Teaching Hospital, Ugbowo.
“We were on this (hotel) premises when a man called that we should meet him at UBTH. When we got there, we were shocked to discover that my brother was dead.
“The policemen and the CSO of this hotel killed my brother. My brother has been working for close to three years and the so called CSO claimed that he (deceased) was not capable of stealing. We are appealing to the state government to help us in this matter.”
The mother of the victim, Christiana, said her son had earlier expressed fear when she visited him at the police station.
Some minutes past 9pm on Friday, my son called me on the telephone and told me that he had a problem at his place of work. I became worried because he used to close from work around 4pm daily. So, I told him that I would come and see him the next day.
“The next day, I went to the hotel with my other children. When we got there, the people said he had been taken to the police station.
“When we got to the station, my son told me that he might not leave the station alive,” she said.
Efforts to reach the management of the hotel were unsuccessful.
But the Edo State Police Command denied complicity in the death of the boy, adding that he died as a result of injuries sustained after he was knocked down by Toyota Camry, while trying to escape.
The command’s spokesperson, Joseph Edoighiawerei, toldPUNCH Metrothat the deceased had confessed to the alleged crime.
Edoigiawerie, who said the alleged theft was captured by a security camera in the hotel, however, declined giving the identities of the vehicle and the driver, adding that investigation was ongoing.
He said, “A case of stealing was reported by the management of the Protea Hotel, where the deceased was working, and he was arrested by Adesuwa Police Station. While there, he made a confessional statement, admitting stealing the money. The theft was even captured by Protea’s CCTV camera.
“He also told the police that the money was still intact. The IPO and the CSO of the Protea Hotel went with him to recover the money and on getting to the hotel, he took to his heels.
“In the process, he was knocked down by a Toyota Camry, and as I am talking to you, the car and the driver, who knocked him down, are with the police.”
On how the corpse of the deceased was found at UBTH, he said, “The investigation will prove other things that may arise. Investigation is not done on the pages of newspapers or on the television.
“Anybody that has any information that will help in unravelling the mystery surrounding the whole issue should come forward.”

PoliticsI’ll Rather Quit Than Join In Insulting Buhari, Mu’azu Tells Jonathan’s Campaign by smogup(op): 3:34pm On Mar 15, 2015
The recent murmurings within the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, over the supposed abrupt resignation of the party’s national chairman, Alhaji Adamu Mu’azu may have not been completely false as was earlier claimed by the PDP in their official press release.
Information obtained from a competent source near the PDP national chairman indicates that the national chairman had announced his resignation to the leadership of the Jonathan presidential campaign team following a heated ‘argument’ over the new campaign strategy adopted by the PDP presidential campaign team – and his unwillingness to play along in their dirty politics.
Available information reveals that Muazu was asked to resign from the seat of PDP national chairman because he refused to join “the train of those insulting Buhari”.
And, according to a source who spoke to Muazu, the embattled PDP chairman was willing to walk away from the seat if the PDP insist on having him resign over his unwillingness to be critical of Buhari. “If PDP wants me out, I am ready to throw the cap away”.
The members of the presidential campaign team had agreed to pep up their campaign strategy in a manner to go after the integrity of the APC presidential candidate, Mohammadu Buhari and to expose the alleged skeletons that may exist inside his closet. But the national chairman of the PDP – who was reported to be in agreement with the frontal approach on the APC top boss, Bola Tinubu – was however not in agreement with such approach being adopted for the presidential flag bearer.
“He [Mu’azu] called their bluff,” said a source within the PDP national working committee. The PDP did not anticipate Muazu’s eagerness to throw in the towel and accept his sack in defiance to their request of him to be critical and vocal against Buhari.
“It caught them by surprise and they had to do a retreat away from their demand for him to resign”. The PDP presidential campaign team are not willing to undergo the crisis that the resignation of its national chairman would generate.
For this reason, the PDP backpedaled quickly with an apology to the national chairman. It took the intervention of the Emir of Bauchi, Malam Adamu for the national chairman to consider the apology tendered by the PDP presidential team.
