IELTS Academic is for Academic Purposes (E.g Schools)
IELTS General is for Migration

With the signed consent/affidavit, you should be fine.

Itissettled3:
Good day everyone.

Please i have a question, if a court awards you joint custody of a child but the other party to the joint custody is not included in your PR application, can you apply for PR for the child with signed consent from the the other person?

I hope my write up is not so confusing.

In addition to the bolded.... Provided you have concluded your ECA and your CRS is equal to or above the next round of draw.

So basically, you need good result on your IELTS (Minimum of LRSW 8,7,7,7 is highly recommended) and ECA Report.

Boss13:
From what I can interprete from your post, you are still deciding on immigrating to Canada because you want to wait for the outcome of your result. First, you have to decided that this is what you want and there is no going back. At this point, it is important you gather the financial resources because once your IELTS turns out good, you would be getting your ITA with only 3 months left to submit.

If you can get the cash now, please do. Don’t wait for the outcome of your result. You can do a 6 months Tbills.

Good luck

dont worry yourself, just ensure your application and document is well packaged. And most importantly, pray towards fast processing... Even if na LVO, When God favour you, there is nothing any Boss, Caseworker or VO can do about it. All we need is God's Favour

Canadianfly:

I am not sure but somebody once said on this forum that having a relative outside the province would reduce your point...

I AM NOT SURE O. Wait for others to weigh in.

Newmum0615:
Hello House, good morning,

My colleague has an elder sister living in Ontario. However she didn't get a good IELTS score, all efforts to convince her to rewrite has proven abortive. So she wants to go the PNP route cos age doesnt favor her application and her CRS score is low and below 400. She is considering Saskatchewan PNP, but she wants to know if having a sister in another province will have any implication on her SINP application.

Thanks.

So there is now a technique to avoid LVO?.... @Bolded below grin grin grin grin grin grin grin grin grin

Boss13:
Oh far from it. I’m neither angry nor offended. I’m just surprised. I won’t recommend or advise someone else what I won’t do.

I have been drawing people’s attention especially those who have not submitted to be clinical and avoid LVO. I don’t want that experience for them. It is a horrible experience and so far only few have admitted it here.

Don’t get caught up with the joyful news of PPR. The duration between when you submit till you get your PPR can be traumatic when your application is in LVO. This is a FACT.

Avoid it!

Many people have gotten advise from others on this forum and have been successful in this Canada Journey.

I dont know why anything he comment on becomes a tug of war. If you dont agree with someone, give your own opinion. Nobody is a Visa Officer or Case Officer here... We are all here to learn and help each other.

How can you come here and say some people Lack English comprehension? Respect is Reciprocal Dude @Boss13

But let other seniors contribute

Please can we not dwell too much on this issue going forward... We wasted valuable pages of this thread on some sort of arguments and sometimes oversabi from a few.

The author below have now apologized and i think we should PLEASE move on.
For those waiting for IELTS Result, ECA Evaluation, ITA, PPR, COPR and 'POF'.... May all our heart desires be answered with speed beyond our expectation.

Waiting for the next person to recieve PPR, so i can celebrate with him/her jare

Hehpgirl.... How u dey? I don get expo for you ooo... ~runaway

Boss13:
I have reviewed my post that created a lot of backlash and identified the reason. I should have use the modal verb “may” but rather erroneously used “will” expressing certainty - which isn’t my intention. Whilst I am not angry, I wish to apologize and I understand the reason for his/her outrage. I’d probably react the same, maybe not in entirety, but would express some sort of displeasure.

However, in order to buttress my point, it is preferable to go above the minimum requirement to avoid unnecessary scrunity. The ADR trends issued by LVO recently tend to follow a particular order and many applicants tend to find it frustrating and traumatic.

I remember earlier on that there was a huge debate about POF and whose account the amount should be domiciled in (PA or Spouse, if necessary). That debate was bitterly argued and even IRCC was brought into the picture and the misunderstanding was corrected in August 2017. Now, POF can also be in the account of accompanying Spouse. Why I cited this example is to show that IRCC keeps updating their requirements and that their requirements isn’t even cast in stone. However, when you read their code of practice which specifies what each program assistant, case analyst and visa officer should do, you begin to get a clearer overview. I encourage everyone to download it. It is on their website.

Finally, reviews are carried out on the uniqueness of an application. That is why some application go to Local Visa Office for further review and others proceed to Ottawa and are churned our quickly. Hence, it is not ideal to base your application on the advise of a previous applicant. Whilst the applicant may provide a generic framework, the outcome may not be the same.

As a married principal applicant, u may choose to go to Canada alone and you may also choose to go with your spouse. Some people for some personal reasons might not want to go with their spouses. So I join CIC to ask you, 'Will your spouse or common-law partner come with you to Canada?' YES or NO
