Please include this in your letter of explanation... its nothing serious but its always better you tell them ahead so your application doesnt get delayed unnecessarily... My2Cents

chiobich:
Top of the day to everyone. I have a peculiar question that needs your answers please.

My mother in-law is a US citizen and she had previously filed a green card application for my husband and siblings under the "unmarried children of US citizens" category. While this application was awaiting approval, hubby and I got married and when they finally invited him and his siblings to make a formal application and attend an interview, he stated that he was now married on his forms. So while his siblings got invited for an interview and subsequently received immigrant visas, his own was stepped down to go back into the "pool" under the "Married children of US citizens" category.

My question now is: While filling out the Schedule A form, I indicated that hubby has a previous UK visa refusal, ticked yes under the applicable section and also gave details of the refusal however, do I need to also provide details of the green card application as i explained above? Is it necessary? It wasn't really a refusal, just stepped down to be reconsidered under a new category.

Kindly help so that they dont say I misrepresented information. Thanks.

Can a person awaiting Senate approval have a Certificate? If the answer is No, then the answer to your question is NO
koonlay5:
Inquiry for a friend..

Can a result awaiting Senate approval be submitted for WES evaluation.

Just read like 2-3 post before yours...
This shows alot of people are too lazy to read but are looking for quick and shortcut to answers.

Bello321 posted a link to over 33 IELTS books earlier and you are still asking for materials?

Which materials are you asking for again na?

If you get a generic letter from your HR, I will suggest you add the following documents and use your LOE well

Employment Letter, Promotion Letter (if available) and Pay Slips... Basically, anything that will prove you are working in the organisation you mentioned and also in the role you claim to be working.

nairalandnewbie:
Hi, please did you get any response on this?

Hi Guys- this is my first post on this thread. I have some few questions regarding qualification. I am 34 with a degree . My CRS is hovering around 395 and i need an extra qualification to boast it. I have exhausted all other means

My questions are:

Will WEC/ IRCC accept a year certificate from Damelin or other colleges in South Africa ( i'm based in SA) if i decided to take the course in SA?

Please guys any advise will be highly appreciated now. i am confused on what to do!

Nice one and congratulations...
Please where is your country of residence?

dfanz:
ITA 19th April
AOR 20th Jun
Meds Passed 13th July
Appl refused 28th Aug (refused for NOC mismatch)
CSE raised 29th Aug
App reopened 28th Sept
PPR 3rd November
Passport Sent 4th Nov
App approved 19th Dec
COPR received 22nd Dec

I had a UK visa denial, my application was processed in Ottawa. There has been a debate on which applications end up in London. I don't think there is any rule to this. Everyone cannot be processed in Ottawa. Applications are distributed to visa offices based on country of residence of the PA. Nigerian residents have been known to be processed in Accra and London.

elfmann, Please what do you mean by the statement below? Let me give you 2 different scenarios and lets analyse it for the sake of learning.

1. A Diploma acquired before a B.Sc - Like OND or HND
2, A Diploma acquired after B.Sc - like BTEC Level 7 Diploma

Note that Bsc is Level 6.

So in the 2 scenarios above, What will be the outcome?

@Newmum0615 and others, please weigh in

elfmann:
A Diploma acquired before a B. Sc and another or certificate after a B. Sc are not the same.
Newmum0615:
Saw this on the CIC's online help centre posted by someone a few moments ago:

But, if you have more than one degree or diploma (if the highest is at least at a bachelor’s level), you will get more points than a single bachelor’s degree.

For example, you hold

a Bachelor’s degree and a diploma or certificate or
two Bachelor’s degrees
In this case, you need to get an ECA for each credential to get the maximum points.

How come some people are saying that WES only assessed one BSc degree for them? Or am I the one getting it all wrong? I read something like that on this thread i think.

Got to work to find the PPR mail sitting pretty in my email!!

I am FSW-Inland, but I only stumbled on this page after my submission, so I had some doubts. That was the same way I only stumbled on the student visa page in 2015 after I had submitted and was looking for CVAC address, but God somehow perfected everything then and now. My applications have always been far from perfect, but the information I read here mentally helped me to understand the various stages involved and the timeline. Thank you to everyone. My timeline is below

AOR: Oct 26
MP: Oct 28
IP1: Oct 30 (I initially thought this was 1P2, the BG message looked like the same with IP2, figured that's how it is for FSW-Inland)
NA2: Nov 3
IP2: Nov 11
PPR: Nov 16 (21 days in total)!

May favor shine on the path of all those expecting good news from IRCC.
