Good day ,
Am new here, I'm about to start canny journey but before i start I'll like to ask some pertinent questions if i can proceed. I have applied into Canadian embassy twice for a student visa but i was rejected .
My first application,was rejected last year August 2016 on the claims that i dont have financial capability to finance my education in canada and that have not been able to convince them that I'll leave canada at the completion of courses in canada.
Secondly , I reapply this year 2017 and was rejected in August on the basis of financial capability and i failed to declare that have been denied America visa which I told the agent that facilitated it for me .
So my questions goes thus, with my explanation above can i still proceed on the canny journey or what further step can i take ?

@smslive2 and everyother person getting pcc by proxy,,, plz y'all shld remember to do all d scanning and printing in color.
I mean after thumbprinting, use a color scanner to scan and send to your helper. ask him/her to print out in color printer. When done, he/she should color scan both d main pcc and d accompanying thumbprinting forms before sending to u.
Go thru all this stress to avoid submitting a black and white pcc like i did....its grounds for rejection.

- Complete the form sign and thumb/hand print as required
- Scan alongside biodata page of your passport and email to someone / friend or relative in Nigeria
- They will print out hard copies to take to Alagbon for processing
- PCC certificate costs ranges between N3,000 - N6,000 depending on how well they can negotiate
- Your contact will scan back the PCC certificates and the stamped/approved copies of the forms for your application

I want to believe it all depends on you. Where do you have your money and how do you intend to show your PoF?
If I deduce from your post all your PoF would be deposited in a bank account, there's no rule on the CIC PoF website that says your bank account should be from a particular country.

Someone I know resident in the UK was recently issued PR; they used partly UK bank account and other part in gift deed placed in a Nigerian bank account. Bearing in mind that for a bank account/letter you must show at least 6 months of transactions/average balance repectively; also at the time you apply the funds must be in the account. However, there's no stipulated period that the funds should be held as in UK 28days style. If you read page 0 under PoF

While it is logical to show funds from the country in which you currently reside I'm yet to see where this is a compulsory requirement. In the end, whatever you decide I'll suggest it should be well explained in your LOE - why you chose where the funds are placed, probably you have investment interests in that country or that's where you work / receive your income, you received a gift deed etc. Also bear in mind exchange rate conversions CAD/GBP or CAD/NGN

1) For those that have had previous US visitor visa refusal and gotten PR, what did you put as your reason. Was it a short explanation or long story. I intend to put "I have been denied US visitor Visa twice. The Visa officer was not convinced I had strong ties to my home country at that time. The Visa Refusal was under INA section 214 (B)". What do you think?

2) while uploading docs in the placeholders, Must we convert everything to PDF format? including the digital passport?

Please a friend finished his mba from OAU in 2012 (that is transcript date) but his certificate reads 2015. When he called OAU, he was told people who finished around then had same discrepancy as school did not approve results till 2015.
Please how will he go about this?
1. Will WES accept the certificate like that?
2. Post ITA, how best will he explain this descrepancy or its not a deal breaker?
3. OAU grads, pls is this excuse from the school true or the contact is coooking it up?

Dear All,

We are a family of 3 and our EE score is over 450. The only issue is the POF.

We need CAD 18,825 and all I can muster with savings by my May 2018 target date is:

25% of Pension which will be about CAD 3,000.00 and Personal Savings of CAD3,333.33.

After much thought, I came to the conclusion to support my Bank Statement with a letter of unconditional support from my Cousin (Canadian Citizen) who has a good job in Canada and my wife's brother (Permanent Resident) to the tune of the shortfall of about CAD13,000.00.
They will support this with their bank statement and payslips.

Will this fly? Because I have tried all I know to do. Please help me.

1.) Hello house! Does anyone knows if WES will attend to me by having copy of my M.sc transcript sent to them as i have misplaced my M.sc certificate?

2.) Also, for a veterinary doctor, wat documents require evaluation. Is it just the certificate as in other professn or is there need evaluating license from the NVMA (Nigerian Veterinary Medical Association) also?

Please can someone give a guide here? I believe others will learn too. On selling a property say land / house and suddenly having a lump amount (proceeds from the property sale) lodged into one’s account for less than two months. Suddenly getting an ITA, what documents does one need to tender to show that these funds were not borrowed but accruing from owner’s property sale. Would this raise some red flags since balance isn’t up to 6 months as required and also is a lump sum lodgement? Please all your advices and ideas are urgently sought. Thanks everyone in anticipation.

Note: We have sent out the transcript for over 3 weeks now and the status still remain the same.
