Bed wetting or nighttime urinary incontinence also known as nocturnal enuresis is unintentional urination while asleep after the age which an individual is supposed to have achieved bladder control. Although bed wetting is a common paediatric issue, it can occur with the adults. However most bedwetting cases occur as a result of developmental delay (hormonal) and few if this case is associated with health challenges ( e.g urinary tract infection, diabetes melitus amongst other conditions).

At the age of six, many girls must have achieved bladder control and can stay dry at night while many boys must have achieved bladder control at the age of seven and can stay dry through the nights. Averagely, at the age of ten 95% children can stay dry through the nights. Bed wetting in adult is estimated to abt 0.5% - 2%.

CLASSIFICATION OF ENURESIS
Bed wetting as a condition is divided into two categories which are Primary Nocturnal enuresis and Secondary Nocturnal enuresis.

PRIMARY NOCTURNAL ENURESIS:
This is the most common type of bed wetting. Bed wetting is counted as disorder if a child is old enough to stay dry but still continue to bed wet atleast twice in a week.

SECONDARY NOCTURNAL ENURESIS:
This type of bed wetting occurs when a patient goes through a long period dryness (about 6months) then reverts to bed wetting. Secondary nocturnal enuresis can be caused by emotional stress or a some medical cconditions such as bladder infection.

taste in their mouth suddenly change when they
become sick from one or more diseases. These
change in taste most times makes the sick
individual to feel that the food is bitter and
cause the individual to lose the urge to eat.
The taste perception process is a simple but a

it down. The tongue contains taste cells that
cluster on each other like banana bunch to form

HOW ERECTION OCCUR

(nitric oxide) relaxes corpora cavernosa (the
smooth muscle in the penis) then an enzyme

muscle of the corpora cavernosa causing the
muscle to relax and also dilate the penile artery,
therefore allowing blood flow into the penis
through the arteries supplying the penis blood.
As the blood flow increases, the smooth muscle
of the penis starts swelling and then the veins
carrying blood from the penis gets pressed by
the swelling muscle, reducing the amount of
blood leaving the penis . The continuous inflow
of blood into the penis and reduced venous
return (reduced blood outflow) cause the penis
starts to rise and that is ERECTION .

LOSING ERECTION
After full erection is achieved, and enzyme
known as phosphodiesterase type 5 (PDE5)
activate and breaks down the cGMP (cyclic
guanosine monophosphate ) to guanosine
monophosphate (known as 5GMP). 5GMP cause
contraction of cavernosa smooth muscle
causing decreased blood inflow to the
