just when most Nigerians are shedding the spotlight on messi as the man to watch out for, milito seems to be sending a signal to y'all. God help us come june 12! |
simababe: simababe:babe how far na? Cut off for last year Estate was 54% but ogun states cut off was 51%. Did u apply to unilag? |
darkizle ma nizzle for shizzle. You get mouth. Nothing does you at all. |
alright beryl. Wish ya all the best. I'ld see how i can help you guys with tips during the p.ume |
@ beryl not to worry. The olevel you filled is of no importance. As long as you scored 200 and above in ur utme, you are good to go |
layonz am urgently in need of a laptop before i go back to school next week or upper week and what i need is a minimum of a 4gb ram as thats what will be enough as am an architecture student and if u are familiar with archi softwares, the require as much ram as u can get and the cheapest that meet my specs would be the dv6 1215sa. Pls can i get it for 110k? Am really serious about this. P.s i would also like a picture of the laptop |
@ cherish am sure that should satisfy the requirements but thats not the only document required to get the admission infact it doesnt really affect yo' admission in the sense that as long as you have 5 credits at one sitting and you are eventually given the admission, even if you dont have a subject that is required for yo' course, yo' admission still stands, they'll only put you in another dept where yo' o/level subjects meet its requirement @ stamford no shakes man. I'ld try my best to help y'all |
@ stamford yes am a student of unilag thought not in pharmacy but in architecture. This is how the admission process at unilag works. Yo' jamb which is over 400 is 50% of yo' total aggregate and to get that, you have to divide yo' score by 8 (400/8=50) and yo' post ume which is over 100 is the remaining 50% of total aggregate And is divided by 2 to get yo' agg. So since you scored 270, yo' current agg. Is 33.8. So u now wait for yo' post ume and whatever u get divide by 2 and add to that to get yo' agg. Cut off marks are determined by general performance in relation to carrying capacity. So no cut off marks for now dont let anyone decieve u. Am thinking of starting a thread for prospective unilag students to give useful tips and advice for the post ume and the admission process generally cuz i too benefited from what others did when i was looking for admission. |
am not really sure how much the form is exactly but its btw 25-30k and the fee proper 320k! But payment in installments is allowed provided an initial payment of up to half the total amount. The form should be out in couple of weeks. Good luck |
as long as you scored 200 and above, you are qualified to write the post ume exam that'll come up at a later date. Yo' jamb score will be divided 8 and yo' p.ume score divided by 2 and then both added to get yo' final score which is in percentage. Dont let anyone decieve you with false figures. P.s cutoff for last year pharmacy was 62percent! |
i know exactly yo' problem and its a very common type especially on windows xp o.s. Its a virus problem on yo' system and it affected the explorer file in yo' system files and it doesnt boot along. To get yo' icons back in the meantime just use yo' alt-ctrl-del buttons then go to run and type in ''explorer.exe'' then yo' icons and task bar will be restored then scan yo' system and have the viruses removed. P.s if after cleanin the viruses its still the same, get sum1 that uses the same o.s then go his system files and copy his own explorer.exe file then delete yo' own and replace. That should solve the problem permanently |
what dv6 is it? As in the full model? And can i get the full specifications please? plus the REAL pictures of the laptop itself would be assuring. P.s am very serious about this provided i can get the details i require |

do you still have the HP PAV DV6-1215SA in stock and can it go for 115k? |
yep! South Africa is beautiful no doubt but damn! God put the wrong people in it!! |
^^ exactment! (sic) our game too tight! and for the fact say we dey floss our swag right under their noses and their women dey trip for our style! that one na im come fuel the resentment! |
RSA no man theres no jealousy anywhere but as a figment of your imaginations. lets look outside NL. i also frequent a lot of forums such as oboma social network and topix which also have a large number of Nigerian and SA users. and i tell ya the SA-Naija beef here is childs play compared to what goes down there and in most cases always initiated by the SAs. you cant deny that a lot of black SAs still have a long way to go when it comes to exposure! and xenophobia has always been entrenched in the SA society. the july 2008 incidents only happen to have caught the attention of the world media. |
lol Mr RSA. relax brov and just in case you didnt notice i've got the protection of my monitor screen so its really no use ranting like a depraved rabid mongrel! and for someone your age you really shouldnt be found swearing indiscriminately cuz it takes off the shine! lol on a lighter note i must say i respect you and yoruba a lot for your somewhat matured posts, well sometimes i.e! and my last post was rather directed at 1,2 who with the likes of mpele have most of their posts about Nigeria laced with malicious undertones. (oh yes. i've been on NL since 2005 and i know a lot even though i hardly post comments) its understandable for you to go defensive if my comments didnt go down well with you. at least you'ld understand how it feels to see your country bashed with impunity! |
its pathetic really when those at the bottom of the food chain IN THEIR OWN LAND try to take credit for the achievments of their WHITE LORDS! like i hear one say they own Africa lol and the fools have to wait for lady oprah to come build schools for their broke asses and like starvation thats widespread in their AIDS ridden townships! well like a friend of mine said once, BLACK SOUTH AFRICANS ARE LIKE MONKEYS IN EXPENSIVE JEANS! with all the ''infrastructure'' their white lords put in place, they still dont look pretty. in character and exposure! its only a matter o' time before this sick sonofab1tches take to the streets again to burn ''foreigners'' for ''stealing their jobs'' and ''taking their women'' lol, A shaka zulu legacy perhaps. an average south african is crude and xenophobic! pure and simple! |
am very serious! but not in all departments though. in my dept (architecture), a VCs list was released with just one name on it! all registration for 2009/2010 closes this friday 22nd january and matriculation is on the 5th febuary. a notice was recently released on the school site stating reg deadlines for those on VCs list and other lists yet to complete their reg! |
yes it was released quietly 2 days ago. it wasnt made public so you may need to check your dept. office for clarification |

allenadeola:yes the registration can be continued in january BUT they may ask you to pay for late registration which is 10k b4 you proceed. |
bollybees:its not late, its still very much on, i heard you have to wait for the hostel list to come out first (i heard theres a list that has to come out) then you puchase a scratch card blah blah and then pay but it all depends on having your name on the hostel list first |
shayhunny:thanks man and yeah i visited the campus today to formally lodge a complaint and was told that it takes about two weeks before my payment becomes valid online that it should be up this week, but 2 weeks is too much of a time just to upload ordinary payment!! |
yea apparently they were too pre-occupied with forcing students to pay in their bank and neglecting other duties cuz of the 200 naira commission. i only paid there cuz i wanted to avoid the stressful queue for thumb printing. even when i was paying last week thursday someone who had paid since the previous week also came to complain. am also planning to visit the campus next week to complain. this is over one week when even post ume then took just about an hour to upload payment. |
hey y'all hows your registration going?? has anyone paid? i've paid since last week but this guys have not uploaded my payment online so that i can fill the sif and the mis form, anytime i login, the thing keeps telling to make payment!! its taking too long if ya ask me, is anyone in this situation as well?? i paid at first bank the same place we did the thumb printing. |
err, to be frank with you i dont think unilag is releasing any other list!, especially if you are a lone ranger, if you know what i mean |
@ abisoye. its unlimited. you can log in with it as many times as you want! @ matwalads. yes she can use the computer print out but she will have to take it to the school where she wrote the exam for the principal to stamp and sign it before it can be valid for her to use it for registration |
@ abisoye. i didnt print mine at jamb office but did on my laptop and i still got the background to show but it didnt come easy. i'ld post the trick i used so odas that could need it will benefit. first you have to download the latest windows internet explorer. then when you login and your result slip print page is ready, the tool bars and buttons wont show hence you wont be able to activate the background printing. just copy the exact web address of your print page open another internet explorer window and paste. the print page will then show with the tools bars! then go to file and then print preview. from there go to print setup and check on print background option then PRINT YOUR SLIP. note:the background is part of the proof of autheticity of your slip. make sure you have it on your slip so you dont run into problems duri ng registration. So Be on the safe side. See y'all on dec 1st. |
