Maybe blessing in disguise for Everton.
Now they can settle down and seek to snatch a fourth champions league place in the premier league, while their rivals are distracted by European football.

On a more serious note it should not be on the front page. Allegation of a coup being plotted as we speak is potentially explosive and can cause panic out there. Nothing wrong is pppl posting whatever comes to their mind, but making it front page shocked shocked shocked
Googles 3 chief executives in Italy were recently jailed for not removing an offensive video on their website on time.

and what percentage of those go on to university?
What percentage of those that go into university go for 'presenting' courses

the BBC cant force people on to their screens you know
the BBC has a lot of ethnic minorities behind the cameras, just because we don't see them in front of the camera
we cant conclude they are being racist, it will take a lot of time and investment before they come through!
there's a black international reporter that's usually presenting new 24 and there's a nigerian too
by the time those guys making cameo appearance gather enough experience other companies would snap them up
making it look as if they are more diverse than the beeb
I think this problem extends beyond the BBC. The BBC is only an example of BEM trying to suceed in government establishments. As i explained above, we have the media in general, police, the mainstream parties, executive positions in the NHS, etc etc.

I agree with you, there are blacks working behind the cameras on the BBC but not as cameramen as you might think but in the canteens serving food and cleaning dishes and as cleaners and security guards. This issue has been put before the BBC on several occasions one i remember clearly on radio 5live drive programme by a former white male BBC presenter who accused the BBC of being racist during an interview with peter Allen.

If you bothered to read my comments above, i pointed out that some of the blame lies with blacks people who had refused to be educated especially amongts the carribean community. However the Asian community is renowned for its keeness on education but we dont see them equally represented on our screen to reflect their percentage in the population.

I am saying this from first hand experience in the UK and talking with top ranking civil servants of black and asian descents about the challenges they and their counterparts have and are facing.

The solution starts with better education for BEM groups. The UK is a class driven society. Most BEM are in the working class cadre. They need a level playing field to get the most of resources for education right to the university level. This issue of institutional racism needs to be addressed head on. We dont need cynicism from people like you or from the right wing media shouting that its playing the race card. It is real and palpable and denying people of opportunities.

Where do you expect the poster to get such cash to start erecting flats and estates.  You people in 9aa think everybody in Europe and America  is loaded with such huge cash to go into Oil business or estate contruction.
Don't forget the cash the poster has is just a little savings he got from his normal job, he is not a politician or bank executive. In UK you can not loot the local , state ,or federal treasury as the case in 9aa. So pls. advise him based on the strength of his liquidity.
I speak from my experience in Europe and Yankee.
Wise talk

You should learn your english properly before posting next time. If you make comments that come across as immature one has a right to point it out; nothing caustic, but just to educate you so you dont make no fool of yourself when you utter same in public.
Yes JT impregnated the girl and escorted her to a surgery for abortion. You know very little about the story.

What percentage of the UK population is black? In an overwhelming white country, you shouldn't expect to see lots of prominent black people.
9% from the 2001 census are Blacks and ethnic minorities. The number has risen from unofficial figures. Yet the percentage of blacks and ethnic minorities on prime time BBC programme is less than 1%.

And that is exactly what affects young black youths negatively in this country, they hardly see black role models in actions, even in black dominated schools 99 percent of their teachers and teaching assistants are whites.
Exactly. Nevertheless, blacks of carribean origin have not helped matters. They dont take education seriously and indulge in various unsavoury activities. I believe this trend is changing with the second generation African[especially] Nigerian community.

PoliticsRe: What Does BBC News Have Against Black Presenters? by snowdrops(m): 10:08pm On Feb 25, 2010
My exact thoughts over the years. BBC do have black/ethnic minority presenters but not on prime time, and if they appear its to present the weather.
Sky is even better when it comes to giving BEM community airtime with Lukwesa and the other lady.
In addition the tax-payer owned BBC and other mainstream media tend to focus on negative aspects of the BEM such as terrorism for asians and gangterism, crime and drugs for blacks. It really makes me sick.
There are too many hurdles placed on the climb to the top for black people. They are more often than not frustrated out of the job.
I guess this is the same reason you have an almost all white Police and Political Elite.

I think of it once in a while but for my experience while at home i wont ever even try it if i am not there 24/7 to monitor any biz myself. While i was home i tried a buz with my trusted blood sister and i bit my fingers. Not giving up i tried another with a trusted cousin, same story and then finally with a trusted friend and again same story. I was still in Nigeria just that i was in full time employment and had to partnet because i had no time imagine what it would be if i was to be this far away.

What i do now is i look out for fixed term offers from banks and i quickly put my money in, once it matures i put it back in savings and look for another juicy offer. My mind is at peace and my capital is intact even though the return is not always that much. I just made about 1,560 on 20k invested in a 20 months fixed term. It isnt much but i am cool with it, i cant afford to waste the money im making inside this kinda weather.

Think very well b4 venturing into a buz you are not on ground to monitor.

Good luck.
Thats £78 permonth on £20,000 tied to an account for 20 months. That same money could have doubled within the same period in a business.
