this is simply tragic. is racism that rife in germany? thought that after the 2nd ww, they resolved to stamp out evils like this. |
some improvised explosive device [IED] work based on mobile phone technology. scrambling phone network would prevent any such bombs setting off. |
i would rather my phone was blocked for a couple of hours that a hundred maybe a thousand people were massacred by some faceless cowards. |
And this is 2011, not 1429. God help us. |
Nice one. Hope this would remind people to do their research properly and weigh their options appropriately before quitting that job on naija/applying for that uk student visa/buying that ticket. it is not always greener on the other side. |
if it was for national security and the greater good, then no problems. ![]() |

The first 3 statements were sensible and appropriate. But the next one was uncalled for and provocative. You should not expect only nice responses. Comments are meant to be for and against. If all you have in the world are friends and not enemies, then we would be in garden of Eden. For the original scenario, from my experience, it is only natural to grieve when you lose someone you really love. You can battle with turmoil of emotions, guilt, regret, blame, anger, denial, etc. During this stage, try not to do anything daft eg, aggression, unnecessary gossip, threats, etc. Some distraction might do, eg, time off from work, reading a novel, going on holiday with same sex friends. After digesting the whole news, it would be time to move on. Perhaps be more selective this time around, as you must have learnt a lesson or two from the previous experience. |
very sound advice. but i wonder how many prospective travellers come in here. might have been better in the travel section. hope the moderators are reading this. |
what is this all about? |
exactly. they are proper sour grapes. |
EfeEkarume:your first post and you wan use laugh finish person. |
@ montelik common, you can do better than that. we are all football guys here, and from the look of things most of the contributors on this thread have been following football for a long time. so like ajanlekoko said, you need to do your research properly before putting forward your argument. SAF have been in the lime light for such a long time and have had all the support from the club and supporters alike. There have been huge financial investment in the club within that period as well. Man U have always been a top club. They won several titles in the 60s and 70s. Even in the 80s you referred to they were hardly outside the top half of the table. Against this backdrop, 2 CL albeit lucky ones in 25 [or whatever years] is to say the least an under achievement. Food for thought for his followers. |
which state is that? |
have the out-going corrupt governors been arrested yet? |
basadenet:these look like foreign trucks overseas |
how sad. a racially motivated murder this must be. the police have put forward a story claiming the woman stabbed the police officer before being shot. only God knows the truth. |
@ hunkyjohn you are right. this should also not create problem for married couples |
that surely cant be ruled out. they need their pound of flesh back. |
maybe spyware/virus |
