I know someone that made a very good 2:1 from OAU. He served in the north and immediately after his service, he got a job that paid him 30k. He didnt say because he had a 2.1 and lots of skill set, he would not take the 30k job. 6 months later, salary got increased to 40k. Another 7 months later, he got the opportunity to apply for graduate trainee position in the same company he worked with. Due to his experience, he was offered the position and his pay increased from 40k to 110k. The guy had to potential of earning 400k monthly within 3 years if he decided to stay with the company. But he decided to quit after 1 year of being a grad trainee. He now makes 10x of what he was making then on a monthly basis. What did he do: He used part of the 30k monthly salary to get trained in Software Testing while looking for other better opportunities. He was lucky and the software testi g training opened up the opportunity of a good job for him and now, he's doing relatively ok. You know who this guy is? The guy is ME. Moral of the story: Never despise the days of your humble beginnings.Take the job, better yourself with any IT training and keep your eyes and ears open for better stuffs out there. God bless your hustle bruh.. |
What's the issue with the ride? Honest truth please..I may strike a deal with you afterwards.. |
Awesome |
Houseofglam7:Please don't tell him yet. Let him found out by himself. I pray he joins them as soon as possible, so that he can also have better things to say about "abroad" . |
Wetin dem dey find upandan? |
amdman:Still available? |
stormwarrior:Hey buddy, I had a conversation with the disburser and I was made to understand that all accounts were credited and I had no reasons to doubt the authenticity of it. I'll suggest you contact the bank, it's possible the problem is from the bank. Let me know how it goes.. |
Chapter1vs6:I truly empathize with you but I'm sorry everyone has got a story to tell. May God bless us all.. |
Luchiana1:No Ma'am, it's over. |
stormwarrior:Sorry I'm now just seeing your message. I'll look into it and get back to you. |

Hey buddy, my apologies. I've been extremely busy. And this coro issue isn't helping. What's up? What's the info needed? |
post=89046961:Na so. And it's going to get even worse. I'm not being pessimistic but being realistic. May God heal our the world. |
PHijo:I'm afraid you're the one talking about stuffs you have limited knowledge of. If Nigerians are going to lose jobs because Nigeria did not prepare but there will be less job losses in Russia and Saudi Arabia because they prepared, then going by your assertion, it's safe to say USA also did not prepare, hence the huge job losses being experienced there at the moment. Despite America's preparation, they're still hit hard. So, cut naija some slack. Dont treat it in isolation. I know naija sucks but there are other countries that are worse. Naija and Russia aren't on the same level same way Naija and US aren't. Job loss is happening all over the world, only that some countries would just feel the impacts more than others. I rest my case. Snowland.. |
PHijo:Abeg, search for the number of people that already filed for unemployment benefits in the US, that'll give you more insight into why I said it's happening all over the world. Yes I agree some countries will suffer more than others but yes, all countries of the world will be affected in one way or the other. |
It's happening all over the world. |
Heineken:Thanks bro. All na to just make the whole thing fair and transparent. Olorun a ma shanu gbogbo wa front and back ati left and right. Mo dupe.. |
IghravweIG:Yeah it was discovered and the accounts were not credited. The person submitted two different names but with same account number. Algorithm used for detecting duplicate entries was at the name level, which was why the account numbers were missed. Thanks. |
mascot87:Thanks bro. To be honest with you, I made a commitment to be a giver as much as I have the capacity to give. I remember vividly a little over 7 years ago when I was a "beggar" on this forum. I never got anything but that never discouraged me either. It's all about helping those that do need help. However, the bad ones have made it extremely hard to differentiate between those in dire need and those that are not. May God help us all and heal our land. NOTE: I have something else in the offing which i'm not ready to disclose right now because I do not want to raise people's hope yet. When the time is rife, I'll make it known. God bless you as you made it a commitment to help others. One Love.. Yours truly, Snowland. |
campbell118:For where? You did well, helping other with the little you got. You are the real MVP |
Toyade888:God bless us all my Brother.. |
mourinho:I'm just now seeing this. Actually, the fund was already sent to her hours, even before the names were compiled and we were still thinking of the modality to select the eventual winners. Thanks. |
khaffi2:Hahahaha. Aunty Khaffi2, you beat me to it. Your fingers too fast jor.. ![]() |
Beremx:Lol..Noooo. You did not serve me oo. We are both serving our fatherland. You be Ibo, I be Yoruba and I believe some of the beneficiaries are Hausa and other tribes. That's one Nigeria right there. God bless us all. Yours truly, Snowland. |
Tina001:Thanks for your observation. I actually used a software to compile the names and remove duplicates. Now I had to check manually and discovered that you and theresafaith were actually right in that 7 and 9 were duplicates. I'll contact beremx now if she has not credited the person yet not to. Actually he used different names but same account number. Thanks. |
FINAL LIST OF WINNERS PASTED ON THE FRONT PAGE. |
teresafaith:Trust me, all duplicates were removed before final selection. Thanks.. |
Obamaofusa:Like I said earlier, thanks for the concern raised. I know you meant well and I didnt mean to demean any one as well by posting the names. I just wanted everything to be transparent. One love bro.. |
mj245:Hi, thanks for the sincerity, all duplicated were removed before drawing. |
Eleniyan15:I really understand what is being said and I take full responsibility for it. Why would I dehumanize the people when almost all the names were supplied by the owners on this thread. My intention was to let everyone see their names, identify and remove duplicates, know their numbers and then I'll remove the list from the forum. But it is what it is. Life is too short to dwell on stuffs like that.. One love.. |
