Guy no.1 is wrong, the correct thing is that a candidate needs to win more than 50 percent of the total votes nationally
Guy, na lie. What is said is the truth...He is what is written in the constitution:

(2) A candidate for an election to the office of President shall be deemed to have been duly elected where, there being more than two candidates for the election-

(a) he has the highest number of votes cast at the election;

and

(b) he has not less than one-quarter of the votes cast at the election each of at least two-thirds of all the States in the Federation and the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja.

GEJ will win, he has 15 states presently above 25%, he needs just nine states to win irrespective of the total votes. The remaining states are Bayelsa, Rivers, Benue, Cross River, Delta, Edo, Ebonyi, Adamawa,Taraba, these are states Gej is sure of winning with at least 80%:20%, 15+12=27 states above 25% votes cast. Niger, Gombe, Lagos, 50:50. Then Bauchi, Borno, Yobe, Zamfara Buhari is sure of wining, 80%:20%. 13+7= 20, it's not up to 24 minimum states of 2/3. That is my analysis, so hopefully gej will be declared the winner.
You are getting it wrong. Did I hear you say "he needs just nine states to win irrespective of the total votes"? No you are wrong. There are 2 conditions that must be met for a winner to emerge.

1. You must have the largest vote.
2. You must have @ least 25% of the total vote cast in 2/3 of the 36 states including FCT.

NOTE: The 25% of total vote clause does not mean the state must be won. Just garner as least 25% from the state and move on. Buhari has the highest vote as we speak from the 18 states already decided, all he needs is just more vote to maintain his lead and @ least 25% of 10 more states in addition to the 14 states he already has 25%. APC will have more than 25% from these 11 states: Niger, Gombe, Lagos, Bauchi, Borno, Yobe, Zamfara, Edo, Benue, Adamawa, Taraba. That will give him the required 24 states with a change of 1 state on top.

GAME OVER.

Common guy, you can do better than this. Total vote cast was 473,444 out of which 460,599 was valid. Rest were not valid. Read the post again gently. Pay closer attention to the part below:

He said there were a total of 460,599 valid votes out of which it recorded 473,444 total votes cast with 12,845 rejects.

Over 90% voters turn out with 98% votes for PDP is something to be worried about but still, it doesn't mean end of the road for APC. There was the same scenario in 2011 but remember, South West and part of the North went to PDP back then. This time, it is different. Let them come out with their maximum votes. Some will be quashed by court. APC won't need contest the whole election but few states. Peace.
Below is the an evidence from Akwa Ibom state.
Yes you are absolutely right. Lets hope our judicial system will be up to the task this time around because the rigging is just too glaring even to the blind. We are both on the same team and I sincerely pray we come out top. Human nature sometimes will want to exhibit some withdrawal syndrome when faced with some seemingly difficult situations. The better Nigeria we both pray and wish for will not elude us. One Love.

Mr Man, I'm not hear to argue or proof anything to you. Do yourself a little favour and check my previous posts. They are there for you to see. I'm not a blind patriot that will pretend all is well when I know for a fact that there is fire on d mountain. I only presented my opinion, if you are not satisfied with it, then so be it. If you have not been seeing results coming from the regions yet, then you are not that patriotic like you are trying to paint yourself. Akwa Ibom result is an example. Over 90% turn-out. Should that not be a thing to worry about?. Do the judgement yourself. Peace.

It will unheard of for a candidate who has lost in almost all the regions to emerge a winner by winning two regions with paltry number of voters.
Yes you are right but that only when due processes are followed. Down south, few states used Card Reader, other did manual accreditation. With the cooperation of INEC staff posted to the regions, anything can happen from there. Like I said, i'm not being pessimistic, just being realistic.

I can only call you a hypocrite because you kept saying you don't want to sound pessimistic when clearly you were not for APC. If SS and SE like, let them release their results next year, people's will shall prevail. It is a shame on you for saying the end of the road for APC simply because you are expecting massive rigging from the east.
If only you can check all my posts, you will see I'm APC to the core. I just don't like it when people do not respect other's opinions. I talk based on facts on ground not based on my blind support. I will be the happiest if I'm proven wrong but we all know what these people down south are capable of. Please if you cant take people's opinion, just ignore it. Thanks and One Love.

From my point of view General Buhari has won this election.

From SW 6 States he worn 5, ogun, Osun, ondo, lagos, Oyo.
From NW 7 States he won 7, zamfara, kebbi, sokoto, kano, Kaduna, katsina, jigawa
From NE 6 states he won 6, Borno, taraba, gombe, Bauchi, yobe,
From SS 1 Edo
5+7+6+1= 19 clear states.

From NC: Kwara, Niger, kogi 3 states are sure for buhari. Benue, Nasarawa, adamawa and plateau at least General will draw 25% even I see him winning more states in the NC.

19+3= 22 states.

He is going to win in 24 states, if the SS and SE like let them give all the 10 remaining states.

At this level, as results are coming, no of states worn determines who wins
Brother, I love your analysis but one thing I want you to remember is there is fire on the mountain right now. It is not about winning 24 states but about winning convincingly with higer number of vote more than the opposing party. So far, both parties will have the required 25% from at least 24 states with the FCT, however, the party with more vote is gonna win. With the kind of results coming from the North, which happens to be the stronghold of APC, it appears, it is the end of the road for APC. I dont want to sound pessimistic, I'm only saying the obvious.

What is the percentage turnout of voters in the North?. Less than 55%.

Ever asked why there are no results coming from the SE/SS yet?. They are waiting for the results from the APC strongholds so that they can then manufacture their results from the regions. You will not be surprised if you see turn out in the range of 90% - 95% with 98% of total vote cast in favour of PDP. That is their game plan. With the total PVC collection from SE/SS of about 15M, we should be expecting nothing less than 9M vote from the two regions.

Ever wondered why Card Readers were not used in most of the States in the regions?.

I don't want to be pessimistic, things might happen but right now, all I can say is ITS ALL OVER for APC.
