Why?
God was the one who told the people of isreal to collect the egyptians jewelries, so why angry with the use?

He's angry because they shared his glory with it.
And God is a Jeleous God, each time he sees it on you, he will feel jeleous that this things share from my glory

That's why God said in Ezk7:19 that i take it away from you. Anything bad are the things taken away from God's people

Ezk 7:19 after taking it away from us, The lord said I will give it to the stranger of the world and they will spoil and defiled it

Rev21:27 anything defiles will not enter God's kingdom

Wearing of jewelry etc does not amount to loving the world and the bible does not condemn them as seen in the below verses:

I agree that all true men of God should preach more on holiness and practice thereof. However, your earlier post was like implying that Pastor Kumuiyi is a better man of God than Pastor Adeboye.

In this part of the world most people see a lady who dresses well, wears jewelry and makes her hair as not living a holy life hence my comment on outward adornment.

From your post, you seems to be implying that Pastor Adeboye does not preach Holiness and the whole bible like Pastor Kumuiyi.

You are entitled to your opinion Sir. I respect them both and I know they are doing the work of Him that called them.

bizmahn: kumuyi is a preacher of holiness & he was preaching holiness in redeem camp while their pastor Adeboye was benched.Means to me that the redeem church needs to get serious about holiness living & preaching all through their congregation.

Your meetings with Kumuyi means to me that you have a ministry to preach & the pattern God is showing you is Kumuyi example of holiness preaching.Attend deeper life bible studies,hear Kumuyi preach & learn to do same.If you faithfully obey you have a great reward but if you make light of it you have yourself to blame.

SMH..m I like reading your posts but this your interpretation is so off. Is it wrong for a host Pastor to sit and listen to a guest preacher.

And what makes you think that RCCG doesn't preach holiness in all its congregations. Christians should go easy on these criticisms, it doesn't edify the Church of Christ. No church is better than the other besides holiness is not about outward adornment.

and try to tell me why the bible call jewelries strange gods in Genesis 35:1-5

In a nutshell, the bible enjoins us not to adorn our outward look to the detriment of our inner beauty and it is the inward beauty that is of great value to God.

However, you can interprete it anyhow you like but I know one thing for sure" it is not your prerogative to determine who is saved or not. The message of salvation is for all and you cannot by your traditions or self righteousness foreclose anybody.

Hosen is trouser. It will also be correct to say that women should not wear skirt because according to the bible men in bible days wore skirts.

There is a distinction between men's clothings and female clothings be it trousers, shirts etal.

Can anybody list women clothing and I hope skirts and gowns would not be inclusive because they were worn by men in the bible also.

If we want to adhere strictly to the letters of deut. 22 v 5 then women should not wear skirts, gowns, shirts, polo, face cap, wrist watches, t- shirts etc . You cannot say that women should not wear trousers meant for women but keep silent about women wearing t -shirts or even polo shirts.

Deut 22 v 5 should be read in context with all the other laws (Mosaic). However, when wearing trousers women should cover their butt areas.

I am from Ohafia in Abia State and I know that men in my village tie wrapper.
We should preach against indecent dressing and not against wearing trousers. Men and women should wear decent clothing and what is appropriate for each occassion.

If most of this outward holiness people were born during the time of our Lord Jesus Christ, they would have condemned Him too. We should learn from the Master Himself.

Why is it wrong for a woman to wear pants but its not wrong for a woman to wear t shirts, shirts, face cap or for an Igbo man to tie wrapper.

Churches should preach against indecent dressing. We should encourage people to dress decently and appropriately and not condemning trousers.

You people should ignore @divepen, he is obsessed with visions. Even when you show him bible verses that show that those things are not condemned by the bible, he will still argue.

It is therefore safe to conclude that he believes that acclaimed revelations take precedence over the bible. However, every genuine born again christian knows that when there is a conflict between vision and the bible, the bible takes precedence.
