I don't think this one you uploaded has that particular place that she said it.

I don't have anything to gain from discrediting this message but I really wish and hope that this message will be reviewed by people who are open minded and unbaised to really ascertain whether it is in line with the word of God as recorded in the bible.
The New testament told us that Salvation is free and not by works least any man should boost.

Her message is to the effect that we are to work out our salvation. If a truly born again christian who goes to church only on sundays will be thrown into hell for not attending weekly activities then ...

Obviously, you didnot watch the CD and you did not confirm whether her message is in line with the scripture or not before you started promoting the CD.

So because jewelry was not mentioned in that verse, it is therefore a SIN to wear one.

In that verse, the bride represents the SAINTS ie (the True Church of Jesus Christ) and the white linen et al represents RIGHTEOUSNESS

However, going by your interpretation,Women should equally stop wearing cotten materials and other colours except linen and white since those were the ones mentioned.

God is a God of details and He is also not an author of confusion. He inspired Apostles Peter and Paul to write 1 Peter and 1 Timothy. If those things were SIN, they would have condemned them. Our Lord Jesus wouldn't have used gold ring in the parable of the prodigal son.

It is wrong for you to say that something is a SIN when the bible did not say so or for you to condemn what the bible did not condemn. Jesus admonished us not to condemn so that we will not be condemned also.

We ought to strive as christians to bear the fruits of the spirit through the help of the Holy Spirit instead of going about judging and condemning ESPECIALLY what the bible did not condenm.

@amara, if you check my previous post, you will see that I quoted and reproduced 1 timothy 2 v 9 - 10. If you read v 10. It says but rather by means of good works...

Both scriptures are saying the same thing ie, they are laying emphasis on doing good works.

Inotherwords, a christian woman should not idolise these things. Idolising them to the extent that you cannot do without them. Both scriptures are saying that we should be modest in our appearance.
They did not PROHIBIT the usage of jewelry.

It is worthwhile for one to check other versions when studying the bible for better understanding.

Assuming your interpretation is correct then WE SHOULD NOT PUT ON DRESSES because you cannot condemn braiding the hair and wearing gold jewelry while approving of putting on dresses.

I am not trying to convince you to start wearing jewelry or for you to start making your hair rather I'm saying that you should study the bible more on your own, so that you will stop swallowing hook, line and sinker every half truth you are told.

It is ok if you feel not wearing them helps you spiritually but it is definitely wrong for you to condenm those that wear them.

My last word to you on this is that you should always remember that our self righteousness is like a filty rag before God and we should rely solely on His grace

@Amara,obviously you don't really care about what the bible said concerning outward adornment, you are only interested in what you are told.

Have you on your own taken time to read the bible from Genesis to Revelation asking the Holy Spirit to help you in understanding the WORD. It might seem difficult because most people don't like studying rather they rely on others to read and interprete to them without even cross-checking whether the interpretation given is correct or not.

Anyone who really wants to partake in the eternal life MUST study the WHOLE bible and with the help of the Holy Spirit.

1st Peter 3 v 3 - 4 NASB says :
Your adornment must not be merely external-braiding the hair, and wearing gold jewelry, or putting on dresses; 4 but let it be the hidden person of the heart, with the imperishable quality of a gentle and quiet spirit, which is precious in the sight of God.

1 Timothy 2 v 9- 10 says:
 Likewise, I want women to adorn themselves with poper clothing, modestly and discreetly, not with braided hair and gold or pearls or costly garments, 10 but rather by means of good works, as is proper for women making a claim to godliness.

Now, if you look at the two scriptures above, you will understand that the Apostles ie Peter and Paul did not CONDEMN outward adornment rather they said that you should not adorn your flesh or your body to the detriment of your spirit.

A christian woman should spend more time building her innerman by study ing the word and applying it to her everyday life which will eventually show in her modest and sensible dressing.

It is therefore WRONG for you @amara to say that something is a SIN when the bible didnot say so.

Jesus said in Mark 3 v 24 - And if a kingdom be divided against itself, that kingdom cannot stand.

You people should stop all these accusations and counter accusations, it doesn't help anybody neither does it win souls to Christ.

The Bible is still the final authority in matters concerning God and His kingdom. It will do all parties good if we study the WORD more than spending time accusing and defending our Pastors and their doctrine.

@ Amara, read ezekiel 16. I really think everybody should study D̶̲̥̅̊ bible and with the help of D̶̲̥̅̊ holy spirit, we will understand what God really wants from us.

I really think all of us should be very careful especially in accusing "Men of God". They are God's servants so it is only God that can judge them.
If you don't have evidence to prove that they are not who they say they are,(not somebody said...) please keep it to yourself to avoid d wrath of God.
Please, we should go back to our bibles. The word of God is there to guide us.
