If Atiku, as I presume under your thesis, were to admit publicly to having been corrupt, wouldn't it be fair to assume there would be a clamour for him to return pilfered monies, probably preceded by a visit from the EFCC?

He was "vice president" not "President" hence the reason I said he should throw people under the bus and he wasn't part of the "immediate" past administration, you think if they had anything on him he will still be going up and down?

I think his biggest fiop was to pander to that wily fox..OBJ. That OBJ speech was a clanger, showcasing all the dark sides of Atiku and claiming to have repented.

In actual fact it was grand sarcasm. OBJ behaved like Pontius Pilate. and handed him over to us and we nailed Atiku.

OBJ never forgave Atiku for giving him horrors and of course his third term bid. He got his Pound of flesh by making sure Atiku lost his attempt at the exalted office. It was Abeokuta plan against Dubai strategy.

In effect Dubai strategy was a nonstarter...Dead on arrival or even before conception. I congratulate all those wet chop dollar.

You are smart, the first person he should have thrown under the bus was OBJ, open a can of worms, pin all Nigeria's problems on him and promise to prosecute him but instead he went for PMB that cannot do wrong in the eyes of so many people.....

Nigerian politics is not clear cut but I personally reckon his biggest mistake was the party he chose, old wine in old bottle with a new label is hard to sell, Atiku should have picked a new party(He has the resources) with a "totally" fresh young face as VP then play the "integrity game" with Buhari, start by admitting he made mistakes and he is coming back to correct them, throw all his old party members under the bus by discrediting them and making ground shaking revelations. A lot of people supporting Buhari today are still under his "Integrity shadow", if Atiku was able to get just 30% of the "integrity voters" plus the huge number of people that have lost hope in Buhari he will have had a better chance......... If only he had employed me as strategist/image maker by now we will be packing our bags to Ask rock, but instead he took people to Dubai to receive wrong advice. No image sells faster than a "repentant criminal" in Nigeria, I don't know the people that adviced him but the wrongest move was attacking "Buhari' that some people still see as an angel, all he had to do was clean his own image and even show support for Buhari but secretly hammer on how he is being manipulated by "imaginary people", Buharis wife already started it, so he should have just capitalized on it while still insisting that Buhari is an angel......

I heard someone saying they are fighting for our future by voting Atiku that ruled for 8year and did nothing but steal, I am sitting here wondering why someone will not like Buhari to rule Nigeria but he or she want Atiku, in this election we were opportune to have young and vibrant presidential candidates but they are not winning, some of them are not even mentioned in all of these results.
I strongly believe if you are honest with yourself and you said you do not want Buhari there is no way you should be rooting for Atiku.

You are the true child of your parents, this is the major point people fail to get, I am not supporting Buhari because he is an angel or he has a magic wand but simply because his 2nd term will be the end of an era of 'old and recycled leaders", Nigerians are now awake, 2023 election will be very interesting, I foresee it as a new dawn in Nigeria politics, APC will have no excuse if they decide to fail us and they will be totally swept out of office and not even Jagaban, Amaechi or any alliance or political heavyweight can save them. If Atiku wins, the excuse the APC government will hammer on is that they were not given the chance to complete their good works, Atiku will run "cosmetic economy" and make everything seem rosy thèn after the first term we will have another round of major corruption scandals and the accusations and counter accusations will start and we will be back to square 1. Let the old man complete his 2 terms then there will be no excuse and the era of "old leaders" will be completely over, in another 4 years, Atiku will be too old, Buhari will be ancient, Tinubu too will be considered too old and if the APC government delivers during their 2nd term they can present a young person we will support, if not we select someone else and give the individual our full support....
