tonywonder: A prophet has declared on May 29th, there will be ceremony but President - Elect, Bola Ahmed Tinubu won't be Sworn-in.
He said there will be confusion and heavy protests nationwide that would prevent the Swearing-in from taking place.
The Prophet further said God loves Tinubu but he's not the chosen one to lead the new Nigeria. He added that Presidency isn't in the destiny of Tinubu.
He also said there will be an interim Government, the Military will ensure political peace and when this is achieved, the Judiciary will announce Peter Obi as the winner of February 25th election
Furthermore, he said Peter Obi is the destined man to release Nnamdi Kanu out of detention. He said Obi/Datti's government will usher in the new Nigeria and there won't be clamors for separation because their governance will bring peace, prosperity and pacify IPOB.
President Muhammadu Buhari on Monday assented the Public Holiday Amendment bill into law.
The Senior Special Assistant to the President on National Assembly matters (Senate), Senator Ita Enang, made the disclosure to newsmen after the signing ceremony.
The new law allows public holiday to be declared on June 12.
Henceforth, May 29th will no longer be public holiday but handing over date and working day.
Meanwhile, Wednesday has been declared public holiday by the federal government.
This not but because it is a day of transmission of power from one government to the elected president and it will occur every four four years not every year.
Next year May 29 will not be a public holiday so take notes.
ToriTori247: The controversy trailing the All Progressives Congress (APC) zoning formula for the position of presiding officers of the 10th National Assembly is yet to abate, as youths drawn from the North Central have said the region would not settle for anything less.
The youths, under the aegis of the North Central Youths Stakeholders Forum and North Central Youths Stakeholders Forum and the Middle Belt Forum, specifically said the region would only accept the Senate Presidency and Speakership of the House of Representatives.
In a statement, the Leader of the NCYSF, Mohammed A Mohammed, said the groups were behind the decision reached at the recent meeting held by governors of the region and National Assembly members-elect, not to accept the decision of the party.
Mohammed contended that the APC zoning arrangement was a deliberate attempt to undermine the contributions of the North-Central to the survival of the party and its victory at the February 25th general elections and subsequent polls.
He said: “We find it unbecoming that other regions that performed abysmally at the polls are given preference in zoning arrangement of the APC NWC while relegating the North Central which contributed optimally to the victory of the APC and its Presidential Candidate would be literally denied any principal position in the coming National Assembly.
“It is all the more insulting that even to consider the North Central for the third position in the legislative houses is subject of debate and speculation.
“In the light of this, we wish to invite the intervention of all stakeholders in the APC to impress on the NWC of the party and all those behind this agenda to rescind, withdraw, review and reverse this unpopular decision and in the alternative, allow the elected federal legislators to form their leadership.”
He called on the President-elect Bola Ahmed Tinubu, to stand on the side of truth and justice by supporting the North Central.
“We call on the incoming President to do all he could to reclaim his statesmanship by supporting what clearly is the popular will of the people against those who want to subvert it.
It does not gladden anyone to think that the relegation of the North Central after the central role it played in the emergence of the coming administration in spite of all the odds, is calculated to diminish the rising political relevance of the region.
“For the avoidance of doubt therefore, and for those who have ears to hear, the North Central would never settle for any other position lower than the Senate Presidency and Speakership of the House of Representatives,” he said.
Why are they protesting, sebi they and their leaders went for OBI, now they want to eat where they have not sow. It is not possible. APC will not listen to them because they took the wrong road during the election period.

Ikuforiji was Speaker of the Lagos House of Assembly when the Lagos pension law for Govs/Dep-Govs was passed.
The compensation which includes houses in Lagos and Abuja in choice areas and six cars every three years is not a big deal. One of the reasons I like this guy is that, he will not say anything when you are attacking him, when PSG suspended him he didn't argue or say anything.
This now came out. PSG will be blaming themselves now.
All is finally set for the Commissioning of the 23.4km Eket Etinan Road, which was constructed by Governor Udom Emmanuel.
The inauguration of the road is scheduled to take place on Tuesday, 2nd May 2023, and will be graced by the former President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Chief Olusegun Obasanjo, as the special guest of honor.
A trip to the Eket Etinan dual carriageway shows that preparation for the commissioning of the road is in top gear as things are already in place to ensure a successful inauguration ceremony on Tuesday 2 May.
The special assistant to the Governor on research and documentation Mr Essien Ndueso who led a team of journalists on a visit to the new road, said everything is in place for the commissioning of the Eket - Etinan dual carriageway constructed by Governor Udom Emmanuel’s administration and handled by Chinese firm, CCECC.
He said the new road is the fulfillment of Governor Emmanuel’s promise to ensure a dual carriageway from the state capital to the Atlantic Ocean, adding that the new road is a continuation of the 20km Uyo- Etinan Road that is almost ready for inauguration.
Mr Ndueso said before the construction of the Eket - Etinan Road motorists were previously compelled to pass through a long and arduous route before reaching Uyo. Many had to go through Ikot Ubo in Nsit Ubium, down to Ibesikpo Asutan LGA, or even pass through interior villages in Nsit Ubium and Nsit Ibom before reaching their destination.
On his part the construction project manager Engr Samuel Ukata said the road was executed to specifications to stand a test of time.
The Eket - Etinan Highway traversing Eket, Nsit Ubium, Nsit Ibom, and Etinan, which will be commissioned tomorrow by Former Nigerian president Chief Olusegun Obasanjo is designed with road furniture like side drainage, pedestrian walkway, traffic markings with pavement and center lines as well as concrete stones walls for enhance movements.
Meanwhile Commuters plying the Eket/Etinan dual carriageway are filled with joy seeing the state government complete the road in preparation for commissioning, Tuesday 2nd May.
Some of them expressed delight on the new road , saying it will enhance their movement , describing it as smoth and sweet to drive on.
A driver, Mr Bassey Ime said before the construction of the dual carriageway, movement from Eket to Uyo used to be difficult as they take pains to navigate village roads in Nsit Ubium and such trip last for an hour but with the newly constructed road now their trip to Uyo from Eket has shortened to just 30mins.
Former President Obasanjo had earlier commissioned the longest flyover bridge in the South South, a one kilometer flyover bridge in Uyo and also inaugurated the longest stretch of dual carriage way executed by any administration in the State, the 29km Etinan - Ndon Eyo road.
“I don’t why Governor Udom Emmanuel loves me so much that he always invites me to inaugurate his best projects. I recall that I was here to inaugurate the longest flyover in the south south and now I am inaugurating the longest dual carriage road with two cable bridges”, said Obasanjo while commissioning of the Etinan - Ndon Eyo Road last year.
