TonyRazor: JAMB allegation: We will go to God not court- Mmesoma's father
Tony Okafor,Awka
Ejikeme Romanus, the father of Miss Mmesoma Ejikeme, the girl that allegedly scored highest in the 2023 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) has ruled out dragging the Joint Administration and Matriculation Board (JAMB) to court over her daughter's case.
He said the legal threat in the social media purporting that the family had dragged JAMB to court demanding N20bn was not from the family.
Recall that a social media report had alleged that while seeking a court injunction, Mmesoma sought a restraining order on JAMB and any of its personnel from issuing any further comments on the alleged forged results till further notice.
But speaking on Tuesday to the RAZOR newspaper, Ejikeme said the family had not thought of taking JAMB to court over the matter but would leave the matter to God who he said is the only person that can grant them justice.
He said," Only God will grant us justice in this case. We are not thinking of going to any court; we will rather go to court and we are sure He will give us the desired justice .
He insisted that his daughter had been exceptionally brilliant from nursery school, stressing that linking such her to forgery was unfortunate.
He added, “I’m a commercial motorcyclist but majorly a musician. We moved to Nnewi three years ago from Oba. But my daughter did her primary school in Ogbunike central school where she was toping her class till she moved over to Oba where she still maintained first position.
“When we relocated to Nnewi and had to transfer her to her present school, her teachers and classmates in Oba school were calling her, crying that her absence was affecting the school because she used to represent the school in various competitions.
“The principal even called me requesting to be paying for my daughter’s transport to and from Nnewi to be attending her school. But I declined the offer. That’s to tell you the extent they cherished my daughter due to her extraordinary performance.
“Meanwhile, she doesn’t pride in her performance because it’s not anything to her. Mmesoma has always been a hardworking and studious student who doesn’t joke with her studies. She entered the present school from SS1 after writing her junior WAEC in Oba. Her results are there for anyone to see. It’s a public school.
“The 362 score she got is what she saw in the SMS sent to her by JAMB, after sending her code to the portal. That’s the same score she had been parading with for over two months before this controversy came up.
Describing a deliberate delay by JAMB in releasing the authentic results of the highest scorer, Ejikeme urged the exam body to stop defending itself and tell the whole world the truth.
He added: “I’m surprised that JAMB kept quiet all these while until now they came up with another result. But what I’ve discovered as a father is that JAMB deliberately delayed coming up with the allegations so as to come up with something they would use to defend themselves.
“The new score they’re claiming my daughter got is not her result. It’s unfortunate that the same people that supposed to offer her an award for coming out top are pulling her down.
“My daughter has been weeping all these while and we’ve been consoling her that nothing is too hard for God to do. She’s not happy that her result was not only altered but she’s being falsely accused for what she did not do.
“How can they accuse my daughter of such allegations when she doesn’t work with JAMB? When journalists come to interview her, one of the questions I asked them is does the person you’re interviewing look fraudulent? For me, it’s only a dullard that can engage in such a crime.
“My daughter studies so hard that even when you ask her to go to bed late in the night, she will insist on reading more. Because she wants to study Medicine and Surgery, she rarely sleeps, especially during exams. So after all the stress, someone will say her result was forged.
“On what we intend doing, there’s nothing else we can do than to insist JAMB should tell us the truth. They should stop defending themselves and tell the whole world the truth. Even if my daughter is asked to sit for this exam repeatedly, I’m sure she will still come out best. She’s my daughter. She has never taken second in class.
“Besides, all my children, two girls and two boys are all brilliant. You can go and inquire from their teachers if you so wish. Just that we don’t make noise about it, just like I earlier said. Even the Soludo panel setup should go ahead with the investigation. I’m not ready to engage the services of lawyers, let justice be done.
After you have helped in ridiculing the girl.
You and her teachers and even the school should be arrested and jail
HIGHESTPOPORI: You this oshomole blog, where is your proof that she falsified her result. She printed the result from Jamb portal, meaning the problem is from Jamb just like Inec. She has always been a brilliant student and couldn't have forged her result for any reason
Why is that JAMB and INEC don't like your region, better check yourself in that region
I asked one of them yesterday in ibadan selling the portrait of our president why is he selling and making money from it, he just laughed and gave excuses that are genuine.
I pray for them that their pains will continue for another 8 years.

paxonel: even if it's true that they don't believe in Nigeria is that the best advice you can give them that they should move?
Do you really know what it takes to move or is it that you just want to sound stupid?
Hence, the fact remains that, it's not that they don't believe in Nigeria like you claim, it's just that they don't believe in your kind of primitive mind-set that uphold tribalism and they wonder, are they living in the same country with people of your kind of mumu mind-set?
How can you say that those who are not satisfied with the conduct of the general election don't believe in Nigeria? Isn't that not a fallacy?
You will notice that it is not everyone in that your tribe that thinks like that. There are good people speaking the same language with you and you are not learning from them. Only primitive people say fallious statements like they should move to Sierra leaone, no proper education.
Third world tribalist

You and your people that have been calling a whole country like Nigeria a ZOO don't have mumu mind-set. But believe with your primitive mind-set when your tribal leader was calling it the damage name.
How can you say that those who are not satisfied with the conduct of the general election don't believe in Nigeria? Isn't that not a fallacy?
Fallacy is when you believe the country that God almighty place you is not a good country but a ZOO according to your blind tribal leader.
You will notice that it is not everyone in that your tribe that thinks like that. There are good people speaking the same language with you and you are not learning from them. Only primitive people say fallious statements like they should move to Sierra leaone, no proper education.
When you were learning from a mischievous tribal leader despite your education what a pity and waste of money on education I repeat myself move to Sierra Leone and continue your education there.

paxonel: An Executive Director of Yiaga Africa, Samson Itodo has alleged that the Sierra Leone election is a direct contrast to the Nigeria 2023 election in terms of credibility. He stated that a lot of Nigerians will be disappointed seeing how the Sierra Leonean government had conducted the election in a free and fair manner. According to him, the people were allowed to go and do their business on the day of the election. He also noted that the turnout for the election is about 83%.
He said, ”On the day of the election in Sierra Leone. There was no restriction of movement. People were able to move around and go about their daily business. Despite the contest on which the election was conducted.
It was conducted under a tense political environment but just an hour ago, the result was announced and the incumbent has emerged as the winner after securing 56% of the total votes cast. A lot of Nigerians might be sad after seeing the way Sierra Leone conducted their election. It’s a decent reflection of democracy as against the experience in the 2023 election.”
