According to them, he is a double faced individual that says one thing but means another. His sins against the people of Kaduna according to them are numerous,

1. "He said those who support Buhari's second term are sycophants"

2. That "Buhari's anti-corruption war is political"

3. "Buhari is using deodorant to fight corruption in presidency" such a man they say cannot represent them.

They also said he denied Kaduna State development by not endorsing the best loan proposed by Kaduna State Govt.According to them,after wining and dining with Saraki and going against good policies of Buhari,he is now frequenting Buhari with visits, taking pictures with him and more.Shehu Sani is a wolf in sheep's skin and they won't condone him in their mist.They also said he has been rejected by them and they will also retire him from politics by using their votes.

Governor Nasir El-Rufai of Kaduna State says Senator Shehu Sani has a high mountain to climb if he hopes to win the ticket of the All Progressive Congress (APC) for the Kaduna Central Senatorial seat in the National Assembly.

According to a report by Daily Nigerian, El-Rufai stated this while addressing APC stakeholders at Kaduna North Local Government Area.

Outlining the conditions that Senator Sani should meet before listening to him, El-Rufai declared that Senator Sani must secure the $350million loan he blocked at the National Assembly for Kaduna State before he can earn his support.

He noted that Senator Sani became so stubborn and even started insulting the president and sabotaging the APC immediately he drank ‘Abuja water’ and advised those close to him to tell him to secure the $350million loan for Kaduna state if he is ready and willing to return back to the Senate in 2019.

“In politics, it is impossible to hide your choice. Government officials have their choices but the government does not have a candidate. Whoever you selected, is the choice of God”, Daily Nigerian quoted him as saying.

“But as you all know, I have my candidate here. You may recall that we voted for somebody named Shehu Sani in the last election. When he went to Abuja and drank Abuja water, he started misbehaving, abusing the president and this government and sabotaging the party.

“For this, I personally asked Uba Sani to contest against him. So Uba Sani is my candidate.

“As you all know, Shehu Sani is among the senators who denied Kaduna State access to loan. Since he has shown the people of Kaduna State this enmity, you must pay him back in his own coin at the primary election.

“I therefore, seek your favour in the primary election to support Uba Sani.

“We are surprised that Shehu Sani has not left the party. We thought he would commit political apostasy like others, but he remained in the party making efforts to correct his sins.

“We are waiting for him. As I have said, we have no grouse about him but his character. If he repents, we will listen to him. But if he refuses to secure that $350million loan for Kaduna State, we will not listen to him.

“Those close to him should tell him: wherever he goes, we will not listen to him if he did not bring $350million to Kaduna.
