You need to get south Cyprus visa to study there or visit there except you are European or national allowed legally to South. If you are from Africa, apply for the visa.

There are opportunities in all countries this will depend on who is searching for the opportunities, what the person calls opportunities and how the persons identify opportunities.

This is based on my experience (I have visited 75 countries).

In 2015; I promised to sponsor my friend and my student summer vacation ...I planned spending max 10,000$ for three of us during these trips.

3 weeks to summer; I asked where they want to go so I can tidy the budget. The lady said she would like to visit Paris or Italy and the guy England or USA ....for me I have not been to many African countries so I decided to visit 5 Eastern African countries. The lady got her Italian visa at TRNC; the guy was denied UK visa but was approved USA visa. They each got 2k from my end and they went for shopping and taking all the nicest pictures of tall buildings and all stuffs....

They asked me why am I going to Burundi and Rwanda for a vacation...they convinced me so much ....to cut the story short; I enjoyed quality holiday in those countries, learnt the culture; food and see beyond the media. I spent 10 days in Burundi and I sighted an opportunity where I export their coffee to Europe, Canada etc, first year of export I earned nearly 5000$ as profit and since then till today I export from both Rwanda and Burundi with significant profit.

Currently my student graduated and lives permanently in Canada and working but now very much interested to start import from the same country he asked 5 years ago why I am going there ....anyway we are trying to create our own fast to drink coffee brand to be distributed in Canada and other region.


In summary; what you call opportunities should be specific and must streamline to your own goals.

Please someone should direct me, I got acceptance letter from EASTERN MEDITERRANEAN UNIVERSITY for MS in Mechanical Engineering (spring). How do i apply for student visa, should I book appointment in Turkey embassy since Cyprus embassy is not in Nigeria. I have not been outside Nigeria before, I am sleeping on Google but I need guidance.

Which one is Cyprus work e-visa?

If you are referring to north Cyprus,we have only work permits not working visas.

If you are referring to south Cyprus, if you have the work visa it allows you to enter Cyprus with the purpose of long-term residence and employment....so fly why need ok-to-board ?

Ensure you are not getting scammed.


Meanwhile I process OKTB but you must have all documents for verification including employment offer which I will verify before processing

We had a boy from Nigeria held for 2 days last year because his picture on WAEC result looks different to them and they already booked to deport him....we sent the head of our international office there and he showed them all the applicant results and scratch card for confirmation and correspondence and he was released afterwards.

So am positive if the school have someone strong with evidence that he is real student and wanting to study, he will be released.

My question is, the Embassy needs Admission letter too, should I request admission letter from EMU?

Apply for a visa via the Turkish embassy Abuja website and visit Mz visa website as well for details of documents you need to submit at the embassy after you receive payment confirmation from EMU. You can check Turkish embassy Abuja website for details of document you can start preparing those documents now.

Upon registration at EMU, the government will select hospital for you in Cyprus to take the medical tests. Medical results from abroad is not acceptable.

The initial amount to pay is 1000$. You must finish payment before you graduate, you will pay each semester according to number of courses taken since you are charged per course.

Turkish embassy does not state any amount or range of money to be in your account for a visa. However, they look the account to see if you can pay your entire fees and accommodation and living expenses and still have some money left.

For accommodation you will need minimum 2000$/yr in EMU region, minimum 100-150$ monthly expenses, your total master fee will be around 6800$ if you are not going to overstay.

So use your initiative to play with thy figure considering above.

It is okay to be skeptical, especially when traveling to a place for the first time.

Truth is that many that tells you to be careful and all only do so based on information online. They haven't really been there yet.

It is not a recognized country to the world, this it true but you can do pretty much everything you will do and more (compared with Nigeria) with a fully acknowledged country.

They are in close relationship with Turkey, which means they stand on Turkey's shoulders for everything. In other words, Turkey allows them to do everything as a country. Whatever cant be done( eg visas for some countries) or may not be recognized bearing the TRNC status can be done in Turkey. I have tried it so I know.

Notwithstanding, there are enbassies here. US and Turkish embassies I know for certain.

As for the schools, don't let anyone deceive you further. The schools are recognized globally. Students transfer and get admitted to schools in US, Canada and Europe with their North Cyprus diplomas everytime. Again, the accreditations are from Turkey and other international bodies.

North Cyprus although small, is far better than Nigeria in all ramifications. Everything works here.

Make your plans before things get tougher to get in. Most importantly, have your funds to care for your stay and school.. Jobs are scarce and cant pay your tuition if you are lucky to get one. Language is a problem.

Despite the lies everywhere and little truth in the exaggerations about North Cyprus, I came here last spring and I confirm that many are not true. You can always get things done.

Dont do drugs or illegal stuff, dont fight or cause trouble and you will enjoy Kibris.

I know I'm supposed to provide my account statements but does it really require i show them the evidence of source of income?
Like for me ,my sister volunteered to support me not really like a sponsor but just to top up my bank acct, how am i supposed to prove that and how do i get a tax payment form?

Put the old applicant's number so that they will link it to this new portal and your old number will now be showing after the update. Also,if it is not up to 1 year that you sent certified copies to them,don't bother sending again because they still have them and you can not view them on ur own in this new site. I hope this info helps.
