Please what do I do now, I received a mail that my application was queried. Reason being that i should upload my ID CARD. Please how do I do it? I can't seem to find where to upload it on my dashboard . DeConsultant: As soon as you are through with filling a business name form and making payment. The next thing to do is to download the application form, the payment receipt and the approval note.
Afterwards, you will sign, date and attach passport on the Section E. You will also sign in Section H, remember just signature and no filling of anything.
Then the next thing is to do is to convert the following to PDF 1. Signed application form 2. ID Card. The approval note from CAC and the payment receipt are already in PDF.
The concluding bit is to send the approval note, application form, ID card and payment receipt to CAC via their upload platform. Remember choose a pickup state that is nearer to you.
It is until CAC approve and register the proposed company, with an evidence of registered on your portal before you can be assured that your business name registration is fully done.
When the company have been registered on your portal, you can as well give them 3-5 days, then you can go assuredly for pickup with everything or documents you uploaded.

Claire18: I was in a similar situation. I was 29, and stood at 442 with my masters and no point from husband. His ECA till now is still on hold as PG school has not sent his results since 2015. Anyways... It's tricky cos ECA can delay you and your birthday is minus 5. I was lucky.. My ECA dropped Sept 4, and I got ITA Sept 5. Birthday Sept 16th. So, In your case, you have 2 months to scale through ECA and IELTS. I think your husband should write IELTS and replace the most likely(minus 5). Thank you for your response... I will do just that |

I am keeping my fingers crossed for you, the ministry must move to the permanent site You are simply awesome! God bless you loads |

Ifeoma77: I am using 31 here, just in case ECA delays you till after your birthday. Your family's CRS without stressing wifey with ECA or IELTS = 432 CRS with wife doing ECA alone (bachelor's degree), no IELTS = 440 CRS with your wife writing IELTS alone, no ECA and scoring 6 in all modules = 444 CRS with wife doing both ECA (Bachelor's) and IELTS (6 across the board) = 452
My Opinion: 1. If you or wifey has a sibling in Canada that you can claim points from, then she should not bother with ECA or IELTS. 2. If there's no sibling in the equation, she should write IELTS alone and not bother about ECA. I'm pretty sure she will score better than 6 each in LRWS and 444+ is a very good score to fetch ITA. Besides, 75k (68k with MOD) is cheaper than the cost of ECA fee + school transcript request + courier fees. Also two weeks wait for IELTS result (or 3 days with CBT) is shorter than months for ECA. Thanks a great deal. I am better informed of what to do now! On the issue of having 5 years work experience from 4 different establishments but same job designation, Will it be an issue for me? |

Ifeoma77: With your Masters, age and work experience, you don't even need to stress your spouse. Without his ECA and without him writing IELTS, your CRS is at 442 - more than sufficient to get you an ITA.
You can only use 25% of your pension as POF.
Having POF from different sources is not a problem. Just started get gift deeds from all of them.
If your university is not proactive in getting WES verifications done, and you're not sure of getting a contact to help with verification, you might want to consider using other ECA bodies. Neither ICES nor CES require verifications and members of this thread have successfully used them to get their ECAs done within 3 months.
Godspeed I'm just getting to know that one of the spouse can still not write the ielts and do ECA. Please could you help me verify my CRS. Age: 30 by april 2019 education: Master completed IELTTS: not done yet, but lets say they are within 7-8 work experience: 5 years ( but in 4 different places of same job designation and each lasted 1year) Status: married just me and wifey Thank you for your prompt response and additional advise |

youngRx: Oya oooo...you people should gather round. It's my turn to testify. I've been reading people's testimony since part 3, now it's my turn
God has finally freed me from the shackles of IELTS (shudders at the mention of that test) after 3 attempts.
As a pharmacist, I've written extremely difficult exams in pharmacy school and passed them all. Never have i imagined I'll be humbled by an examination in my lifetime.
Actually started preparation very early, around june, cause i wanted to "blast the test in one sitting ". Started with listening and was doing excellently in all my practices. I however concentrated more on writing, since almost all the 6.5 I've been seeing on this thread has always been on writing. Registered for November 10th with MOD after almost 5 months of practice, so you understand how high my confidence was. Well.....
1st attempt: LRSW 7,6.5,7.5,7.5.
The 7 in Listening was understandable cos somehow, mysteriously, i just panicked in the middle of the listening test and couldn't follow the conversation. There was this sudden urge to get all the answers right that made me panicked.
Reading, however, was a shock. i could have sworn I'll get a 9 in it. If not for the listening score, i would have reqiested for a remark.
Surprisingly, writing turned out better than i had expected.
Well, i shook that one off and registered for the next one, this time with intense focus on listening.
2nd attempt, MOD, LRSW 7.5, 9, 8, 7.
this time i was completely devastated cos i was very sure of, at least, an 8 in the listening. I followed every part of the conversation and was totally calm throughout the test. This one so angered me that i applied for a remark. Still awaiting the outcome though. My 46k must return to me
I gathered all my life's savings and registered for the 3rd time. It was hell surviving without a single penny. By this time i was so used to the listening tests in the Cambridge series that i could predict the answers. So i delved into youtube and Practised all the tests i could download. Went for the exam and....
3rd attempt: MOD, 19/1/19 LRSW 9,7.5,7.5,7.
Funny enough, during the test, the same panic that came over me in the first attempt came again, but this time, i heard the answers, just that i wasn't following the conversation the way i should, so i wasn't sure of about 7 answers. After the test i gave up, & started thinking of how I'll raise the money for the next attempt.
Later in the evening, i decided to visit the IELTS chat room on telegram where the answers are usually discussed after a test. Infact i almost had a heart attack when over 6 answers i wrote did not match what majority were sharing. To make matters worse, the majority were unanimous about the answers. Well, since i got a 9 in my listening, i guess i was the only one that got the correct answers among the bunch then.
ECA: was completed since December with PEBC. Thanks to baba Salford1 who came to my rescue at the dying minute. God bless you sir. Current CRS score sits at 450.
POF: Absolutely no hope for this one yet. Just going blindingly on. But I'll rather get that ITA then decline it for lack of funds than sit idly by while this rare opportunity passes by. At least, in years to come, when my children ask why i didnt migrate when everyone was doing so, I'll show them my ITA as proof that i did tried my best to give them a better life.
Thanks to @Bellniki and @Reemefolaks for their wonderful support especially at those times when it mattered most.
I think I am now a banafide member of this thread and will be open to any questions about the process, especially for Pharmacists. I hope to do a detailed breakdown of the ECA steps with PEBC too so others can learn.
And as for those of you who think this testimony is trivial, i used to think like you: "is it not just IELTS?". well, here we are after 3 humiliating attempts. may you never experience this nightmare of multiple IELTS attempt.
I know many are still battling with the test, don't give up please. Keep pushing, and the next one will be definitely yours. Last last, it will end in praise for all of us. quite inspiring bro |

Blooit004: From my observations based on my interactions with friends that have applied for EOR and info here, I don't think BC Lagos forward every EOR application to senior examiners in UK. This is because one of my friends got EOR feedback result within 13days after submission, and of course their was no upgrade; I don't believe it is possible for the application to be processed, flown abroad for remark, and returned with other remarks back to the country and picked up all within 13days. It's highly unlikely it was sent. Their was also a case of someone here being discouraged from applying by the person collecting EOR applications, this is wrong in my opinion, considering especially the fact that only 0.5 increase was needed then. Also, there are details I don't want to put up here. I opine with a high level of certainty, not absolute, that not all EOR applications are forwarded to BC in the UK.
Their's a bandwagon of EOR applicants the week after results are released on Friday, you're likely to be among those whom their applications isn't sent if you apply at this period.
I think you should apply for a remark in the main section you really need, and shouldn't be after settling for a refund if you don't. If you had to make a choice, would you rather get an upgrade in writing and lose the 15k, or an upgrade in speaking you don't really need and get reimbursed? I also think the senior examiners are human and they might know when a candidate is trying to kill two birds with a bullet when just a bird needs to be terminated, and may give an upgrade in the section you don't really need instead. This may not be accurate, but I emphasize that they're human.
Lastly, I believe more Nigerians would do better in the writing module if BC examiners here in Nigeria were fair.
All the above are just my opinion, not facts. No, they dont take the scripts abroad. They scan the scripts and send to marking guide to their examiners... That is what they do even for A level exams. |

Nono16: My fam,
COPR received today. All glory to God, who causes us to prosper.
Ok heres a break down as promised.
Started the journey by enrolling for the IELTS exam.
IELTS:
I studied Liz blog for reading and mainly writing. I believe the free version is very useful for writing, she has very good techniques and samples. For the speaking, I watched sample interview tests on YouTube. Those videos are enough to get you a good score. I practiced with the free Cambridge materials, and I always timed myself. When I did the first practice, I scored a 27/40 in listening and a 30/40 in reading. I was shook!!!!. I couldn’t believe my eyes lol, but I kept practicing. Over the next 2 months, I started scoring 39/40 and 40/40. At this point, I knew I was ready to take the test, and I registered. Lo and behold, my result wasn’t too different from my practice results.
L= 9, R = 8.5, S = 8.5, W = 7. My 1st attempt.
I believe the secret to acing the test is: i) Practice practice practice, ii) familiarize yourself with the test question formats, iii) have a calm state of mind on the morning of the exam, iv) For writing, use pencil and start from task 2; it carries more marks - 66% of the total score, while task 1 takes 33% or so…..i cannot over emphasize checking out LIZ blog.
ECA:
I used WES and it was pretty straight forward, as I evaluated my foreign degree. It took about 2 or 3weeks.
ITA:
As soon as the ECA was done, I jumped into the pool with 452 or so. I have to state here that if you have 2yrs and 10 months work experience, pls put 2yrs only when creating an IRCC profile.
NEVER ROUND UP pls. Even if it is 3yrs and 11months, pls claim 3yrs guys. I claimed 2yrs work experience: 1year of NYSC and 1year post NYSC. Be very careful when creating an account pls.
POF:
Before I got ITA, I had already gotten 50% of my POF sitting in the account for over 6months. The remaining money came in as a gift deed from my family. It actually came 2days before I submitted my application. I had to wait to print the Statement of account. Bank documents- I used a dollar account. I asked for a letter in the CIC format, but the man in the customer rep booth refused. He gave me a generic one. I had to request for a letter of non-indebtedness to buffer.
So from the bank, I had my 6months SOA, letter of non-indebtedness, and the generic bank reference letter.
PCC:
I paid the regular 10k in Abuja and some $15 or so for US PCC. I paid the forensic dept. in Louis edet house to help me with holding my hand to thumbprint for the FBI one, and I DHLed the sheets to the US. (The report returned in 24hrs).
REF LETTERS:
The Company I served with during nysc, refused to give me a reference letter, so I asked my previous supervisor to write one for me. He wrote it on a plain sheet and got it notarized. He attached a scanned copy of his ID card showing his position, just as a backup. Also, they paid us cash, so I had no paystubs and no bank proof. My supervisor took the initiative to write out this fact and he included the amount paid monthly in his letter.
For my post NYSC job, I had paystubs, letter-headed ref letter from HR, bank print out etc.
AOR:
On the day of submission, I forgot to attach my current reference letter from the company I was working with (although I wasn’t claiming points for it), and I submitted. I was so worried.
I added LOE to the beginning of certain placeholders, e.g. in the POF part, I explained that the bank offered only the generic letter: I wrote just 1 sentence on a plain sheet, and under it, I gave a tabular breakdown of the money conversion rate using oanda from USD to CAD. Then I put a table of content thing: 1st page – letter of non-indebtedness, 2nd page – bank ref letter…….etc. I also put a general LOE in the general section placeholder, it had a summary of all my LOEs on one sheet of plain paper, I wrote brief sentences here too…e.g.:
EMPLOYMENT RECORDS: in 2016, I was paid cash for a period of 1yr in XYZ Company, hence my non-inclusion of paystubs - more details in the employment record placeholder.
I did this just in case different VOs were working on different parts of my file at the same time, at least they would see the LOE in the employment part or see the LOE in the general part. For clarity sake.
-I previously had a visitor’s visa to Canada, so I was not asked for biometrics.
**When post AOR: try to enroll for a planning for Canada session. They give individualized action plans for people based on your NOC code. It helps you to know what you are up against, technologies to learn, and attributes to quickly imbibe before you get there.
OTHERS:
The first 2weeks post AOR were challenging. I used to check my profile 3times a day, but after the first 2 weeks, I totally got occupied and hardly checked except on Saturdays. Also, pls keep your LinkedIn and social media up to date with your current job status. They actually do cross check guys, most esp LVO and AVO. I had no visa denials and no ADR, I paid all PPR fees upfront, didn’t order GCMS notes- so I don’t know which VO attended to my application, but I think it should be Ottawa.
SUMMARY: As a last note, Pls don’t put a full stop where God has placed a comma. Don’t fret and don’t give up. Do what you have to do, be very clear and concise in your application. Avoid discrepancies, and long turanchi.
My love goes to NewMum0625, Tojued, smslive, mcstan18, joo2000, ifeoma77 and a host of others. Newmum actually replied me repeatedly, answering my questions via mail in a very detailed manner, ….Tojued too, but she refused to give me her num lol. Then there was this guy in PH that kept replying me, he even gave me his contact to call him. May God reward you all.
I will be open to help anyone with questions that I can answer, but remember no 2 applications are exactly alike. Use your discretion to act, and always read up page 1. Good evening and congatulations! please kindly advise me on this: I visited WES website and started the application process. i discovered this "Final Secondary Examination Results (e.g. West African Senior School Certificate) must be submitted directly to WES by the appropriate examining body for evaluation along with all higher education documents. No evaluation will be completed without the final secondary examination results." I have MSc and wouldnt want to evaluate my WAEC because of the mistake on my date of birth. Should I just forget about WES and use ICES, or should I still continue with WES but not upload my WAEC? Kindly advise please |

Let me use this opportunity to share my experience with these drugs you guys have been mentioning. When I was 22, I was desperate to gain weight. I got the info to gain weight online and I bought dexcortin. it worked pretty fast caused I went from 59k to about 65kg on height of about 5ft 11". it worked in less than 2months. sincerely, I didn't notice any of these other side effects being mentioned here. after the two months, I stopped taking the drug cause I was afraid I might become orobo. As at that time, my ex was taking cypron which also worked like magic. After about 6 months I stopped taking the drug, I lose some weight, but never went back to my former weight. When I tried using dexa again after two years, I ended up having aggravated ulcer that nearly cut my heart off. I also tried using cypron, it didn't work, rather, I always get excessively tired. Now, I weigh 70kg on a height of about 6ft 2". and am 27 now. I still want to gain some weight, but don't wish to take steroid pills again... foods and proteins don't work either... Perhaps, there are other non steroid drugs I could be recommended to try out. Is there any pls?? |

Tnx. D timing is so bad for me. I wish it will start on Monday... If I do d registration on Wednesday, we will still start training on Thursday too? |
