The only thing i gained from subscribing to Hithief is that they made my wiser. It was after the inflated price that i knew about FTA and to God be the glory, am really catching the fever, life is beautiful, so why should hithief be making life difficult for we nigerian, their customer? No value for money at all,

I've been too busy with work for days now, no time to perform experiment on my 60cm and 1m dish for now. Am even yet to get my diseq1.2 & compass, Prray for me to get more time, i must kill those birds as many as possible.

Bros you are too Inquisitive… Yoruba pple say ‘’oro tie gun ba so orun lo ti wa’’   ;Dand ‘’eyi ti okete ba ba ile so, ni ile ngba’’… sorry for this( se I no breach house rule?)   ;Dif you read FTA very well, u will concur that the RF cables are always male and female… but for the purpose of ur usage, it must be crossed meaning that the pins/individual cable connection from one end to the other must be crossed. To achieve this, u must get a multimeter to test it ( if u cant buy one, just walk to any electrician to do the cutting and alternating for u and make sure he test it or else ur decoder will be at risk…

No matter what you guys say, SIASIA is still the best Nigerian coach and also an achiever. We do'nt just sit, watch 3 to 4 games and start to talk about a coach ability or his judgement. Have you guys been following this team from the first day of SIA1 appointmnent? Can we boast of any tangible support this man got from the FA?(that's no excuse you say? then that's why the Nigeria youth team and the senior team will never achieve any tangible thing again in football, ). Football is about preparation and adequate tranning and not just a last minute gathering of different players for a world tournament. This same thing affected us from getting gold at the last olympics, if the useless FA gave the necessary support to SIA1 then, taye taiwo, mikel etc should have make the tourney great for us. at least messi was there and they were of the say age category, indiscipline and corruption is killing nigeria football, where are the boys from the under 17? most of them were forming big boy when SIA1 invited them, you dont expect him to beg them, red cards injuries also affected them, His success at the last Flying eagles was because he worked with then as under 17(succession plan in nigeria football is nothing),
As for me SIA1 is the best candidate for the Super Eagles,

Change tp DVB-S2 & 8QPSK, and retrack again, at least 25 channels will pop up, enjoy the air

@EKONIBAJE: There is no truth in what you just said about LCD TV. Pls when connecting your tv with the HITV decorder make sure that the cables are well connected. I personally use in to in cable not component cables to connect my hitv decorder while i use HDMI cable for my DSTV decorder and Home theater system. Pls cross check your TV very well maybe you wrongly connect the cables thats why you having black and white picture showing on your screen.

Now pls house i will like to ask this. What will happen to those loyal customer that can not afford to pay three month subscription? are they not entitle to any compensation from HITV also, I will be glad if urfriend can also shed more ligth on this issue.

Even we d loyal customers before no ready to pay a dim any more, there broadcast no worth am at all, its only football and that football is of low picture quality, am tired jare

I got this idea, think may be of help to you, i will try it out by week end, I learnt the distance between the birds are like 3 to 10degree ( i stand to be corrected) , e.g. 28E (Astra 2), 19E (Astra 1), 16E and 13E (Hotbird).
That's what i researched and planned to put to test by weekend, pictures attached. The local welder can make the holder for you,

HITV are not serious, they should check out even multitv of yesterday, better quality and innovative programmes. After EPL, nothing for hitv, that is their problem, i am a footbal,epl, lover and a chelsea fan, but i can't imagin paying 6k to watch epl for just 2 days in a week, 'cos the Champ league is nothing to talk about 'cos of the bad picture quality, its crazy, i cannot even entertain visitors with my decoder unless its football, am off for good. catching the FTA fever!!!!

HITV does not worth N4.9k at all, everything is not about EPL, that is their real problem, after saturday & sunday, nothing to enjoy for that decoder again. No movies nothing

Whaooo, thanks all. I nailed the two birds on saturday, intelsat 907 for daarsat and astra2b for multitv, more tv for free.
Am planning to buy this diseqc 1.2 positioner by this weekend to be able to switch between different satalites.
Its going to be fun this weekend again,

The problem with a lot of members is that they go to cafe to browse and do not have time to read through backlog of posts which has treated their questions.  Some are also lazy or lack the knowledge of search engine to fish out the particular post that can answer their questions.
Having said that, I want to state it equivocally that a moderator has no power to edit any post, and a post cant just be deleted just because the person was asking a question.  In this regard, the best we all can do is either to ignore any questions we felt can slow us down and move on, or direct them to a particular post that had treated their request.

Thanks so much, I think am missing something, even that bab-egun post, i have the print out with me at home including your comments on FTA FAQs, Please is the frequency for the daarsat tp,11.675v,30.000 &11.555v,30.000 or 11.675H,30.000 &11.555H,30.000. aND YOU KNOW THE ISSUE OF USING THE DAARSAT TO SCAN is not easy, I have to borrow a strong decoder on monday & tuesday, getting taht decoder again might not be easy, The HITV decoder i have is not doing the work also, May the lord help me in my quest on DIY,

I bought the daarsat decoder on saturday, men, it's not easy. I tried to install it on monday morning, but i ended up spending like 7 hours getting the channels out for daarsat. i was able to track the signal with 11555v30000. thanks to twinstaye for his directions on phone obn getting a strong decoder to track.
I borrowed one from a guy around my area, we hit 82 for signal but it's only lc2, direct 8 and africa that showed,
Please i need help on nailing the daarsat channel, i know am missing something, after getting the daarsat channels, i planned to turn my hitv dish to astra2b for the multitv fever, please i need direction.
George, enitan, twinstaye, fijabi and all the guru, please help me out, in nailing daarsat and multitv correctly.
