Actually I'll take that back. He was using some Yoruba on whatever the track was at that time, so I knew he must be Nigerian but at that time I don't know about him and a lot of the other guys back then. The main point is that he's music is legendary and wil last for the long haul compared to Davido.
Also,he already made afro beat popular before Davido became popular. There's no comparison.
Now, I should be on here praising Davido because I have lots of connections to him, from one of his best friends, to one of his top managers. They are all my younger nephews but I'm real. I say it like it's.

He's hits are for the long haul.
First time I heard Wiz kid was on an Atlanta radio station in 2011,and I didn't even know back then that he was Nigerian until someone in the car told.
I downloaded the hits back then, I still listen to some of those tracks till today.
That's what you call music, not that noise from Davido.

Songs like Ojuelegba, Omo jayejaye are pure afrobeats.
The only part agreed with you is that Wizzy drop songs that last longer. While Davido focus on rave of the moment.
