ChrisKels: Owngoal is reporting that this werey now wants to represent Nigeria after realizing that he isn't good enough for the German team.
Well, I would give him a chance to prove that he is a worthy backup for Bassey. Who is this guy abeg? Why do they realize too late? Same thing with Tosin |

jihday: if only 2 teams will qualify what’s the point of this game? Make CAF try to dey innovative abeg This reminds me of the CAF U17 qualifiers where strong teams like Nigeria and Ghana failed to qualify from WAFU B. But I heard that WAFU A was cancelled because almost all the teams failed the MRI scan. CAF should just select Nigeria and Ghana to represent in their place. |

PDPGuy: It truly was so frustrating to see the girls soaking the game and other games with mostly off-target shots. I was saying to myself, “can’t these girls just toe the line of one-touch/combination passes, regardless of the coach’s instructions?”
Anyway, if it were up to me, I wouldn’t mind having a person like Mercy Akide becoming the team’s head coach. After all, she has years of experience coaching high school teams in the U.S., which would dovetail nicely with coaching an U-17 team. Infact people like Danjuma and Olowookere should never near our youth teams again until NFF sends them on refresher courses in coaching and they acquire basic techniques and skills in coaching. It's not all about run and shoot. Like you rightly said, let the Akides, Omagbemis etc be given opportunity to coach our female teams. Enough of all these nonsense. It's so painful watching those girls crying profusely yesterday. |

This loss to USA really hurts. After scoring those number of goals at the group stages only to come and lose in the quarter finals. Olowookere thought it would be a work over against USA, he didn't analyse this game well,. I know we would be back next year but there is need for quality on the technical bench. I can't imagine he was telling his players to shoot anyhow when the ball gets to them. Who does that in modern day football? Chai.... |

Deltamani: God forbid bad thing… You think winning Algeria is the price? What will happen when they face Japan, England, France, Spain, USA and Brazil??
To me Madugu & Ann Chiejene have overstayed their welcome in the SuperFalcons.. Is time we get a better Coaching crew. Please I want to know if this is the new trend in which NFF and Madugu want to run Super Falcons by inviting more local based players and doing away with our foreign based? Or is it only for this friendly match with Algeria? |

slam7000: Nigeria won 2-1 Ivory Coast scored first in the 63rd minute. Nigeria equalised almost immediately in the 64th and the winning goal came 2 mins later. Mehnnn. West African teams are good. All teams in group B were level on same 3pts and goal difference of zero. Nigeria just topped the group because we scored 2goals same with Cote D'Ivoire while Burkina Faso scored 1 goal. CAF should change this freaking method of qualifications please. Our U17 golden eaglets and Ghana lost their place in U17 AFCON because of this wicked qualifying process |

lovewins: While I look forward to us facing a much better team to be absolutely certain, you've got to give credit where it is due.
Coach Bankole put together an exciting team, composed of players with a lot of promise. I remember I couldn't even sit up to finish any of the Super Falconets game as it was so boring and borderline annoying. This is a total departure from that. . I mentioned this last time after the game against NZ and some folks here were arguing with me |

TheSuperNerd: As talented as Kparobo is, as cerebral as Ayuma is (subbed out), it is a waste to throw them into a team lacking pattern of play. I mean what is this?? What is Aliyu Zubairu even coaching?? Another wasted set like Bosso's team last time. NFF hurriedly put this team together less than a month ago and we all expected magic to just happen. |

TheSuperNerd: Flying Eagles XI vs Burkina Faso today.
Wafu B Afcon Qualifiers.
#19 Arierhi Kparobo of Beyond Limits starts.
#11 Bidemi Amole of Sporting lagos (Gothia) starts.
#15 Raphael Oyebanjo starts. Expected to help us not miss Daniel Daga.
#9 Charles Agada on the bench.
Watch out also for Rangers LB, Kenneth Igboke (#3) and, #20 attacking winger, Clinton Jephta and #10 Israel Ayuma, CM in midfield. I hope coach Zubair gets it right today. Burkina Faso and Ivory coast have always been hard nuts to crack for our age grade male teams. Hope Daga's absence will not be missed. Wishing this team all the best |
