TheSuperNerd: So Ghana U17 wins on penalties. Uzoma followed nearly all the pens Ghana took against her but her reaction was always slow.
Anyway, we move.
Happy to see Chidi Harmony showing her stuff as our next real Number 9 at this tournament. She scored 4 goals in all. 3 vs CIV and 1 vs Ghana.
Janet Akekoromowei is another fine CF potential. I thought this Uzoma girl will toe in the line of Nnadozie but let's give her some time with more exposure. As for Chidi and Janet, they are both great stars of the future |

AkinDS: As always, Bankole and his team fail when it matters the most. Keep losing the crucial games. No reason why they should have lost this game to a below average Ghanaian team.
He and Danjuma are cut from the same clothe, lacking the tactical intelligence to defeat the more competitive teams. Nothing but local Champions. Both coaches should be sent on refresher courses by NFF if they must handle our age grade teams. |

Showed it at Afcon 2023. And his form gets even better in the EPL under Nuno Espirito Santo. What of Hakimi?😃 |

TheSuperNerd: Janet Akekoromowei is a big girl. She has the targetman profile for the number 9 role. A real potential. Harmony Chidi is more mobile, more skillful and can take on her markers.
I won't say Janet is better but she just commands more presence as a number 9 due to her impressive size and height. Harmony has proven herself a real deal number 9.
For me, it is exciting having both competing against each other in their rise to become the Super Falcons' next big number 9.
Both are awesome talents. Taiwo Afolabi is missing in this team. What happened? |

BankyGee: 😂😂😂😂 Still not enough, if there'd be any Moroccan on the top 3 seff, it should definitely be Soufiane Rahimi who actually powered the team to winning the bronze medal, became the first player in Olympics history to score in every single match from group stage till the last game, won the golden boot, scored a hat-trick against Al-Hilal to win the Asian Champions League, won the golden boot and also won the golden boot in the UAE league... 🤷🏾♂️
None of them can stop Ademola Lookman. The politics has been done in Morocco. Winners have already been decided. All these your talk na medicine after death But why must Morocco host every CAF thing on this continent? |

lexyman: its better for us to experience this defeat now , than having it during the WC qualifier ... that will be too bad ... Exactly... Better to lose to Rwanda, Benin, South Africa, Lesotho now than next year when world cup qualifiers start. Now we know who is who. AE knows that there is serious work to be done. NFF can decide to bring in a foreign coach now (though I think time is short) or we can leave AE and reorganize that technical department by bringing in Siasia as assistant. I advise we also bring back Ahmed Musa and this time let him play as creative midfielder like Iwobi. For our defense, it's time we bring in Adarabioyio, Tourinagha, Udokhai into the mix. Final question. Can we still convince VicMo back to SE? |

The team is highly talented but have poor finishers. I got pissed off when that girl lost her penalty. Congratulations to Edo queens.👍 |

TheSuperNerd: I surely understand the frustrations with Iwobi. I have them too. It is why I had really hoped Nwakali came good or was given a shot at some point. But Iwobi is all we've got at this point in time from a creative POV.
Akinsanmiro is still growing but I also think he should be given a shot. Until they look his way, Iwobi is all we have.
Bashiru is not your creative CAM-type... he is a shooter. A scoring MF type who will break the lines with his running, do linkup passes up top and drive into space to receive and strike or lay a simple final ball.
With Iwobi, it is frustrating because he has not had actual competition for his profile for years now. And this is due to the coaches refusing to invite similar player profiles who could give Iwobi a run for his money.
So it is okay to see OOB but don't expect Bashiru to do any incisive creative shit. He is not that profile. He's built different. For a minute yesterday, I felt we sold the match because of Rohr because Benin were all over us. AE should learn from yesterday's game. 1. Never play Iwobi and Ndidi in a 3-5-2 pattern. Ndidi gases out easily unlike Onyeka. Iwobi plays too deep 2. Never leave Moses Simon on bench again 3. Iheanacho has lost it. Should not be invited anymore. 4. Let's now see Maduka Okoye in goal against Rwanda 5. Aina is always overworked or stressed out in 3-5-2. |
