Deltamani: You’re on a 50/50 side with your point right now..
If you Look at the SuperFalcons team properly you will notice that we’re currently lacking in the Attacking side of the game.. Most of the talents we have there right now have probably passed their prime or not in the level we thought they could be..!
Even with playing with some makeshift players in the fullback position we still have one of the strongest defense in the world and in Africa no team comes close.. We have a young bright team of attackers that Randy failed to take along to the Olympics. See Gift Monday, Rinsola Babajide, Sebatine Flourish, Ajakaiye etc. We can build the future around these players with Okoronkwo, Echigini etc |

Looks offside though.

See ehnnnn.... Super Falcons must be clinical in goal ooo. All our wastefulness in goal must be curtailed abeg. As much as we play with physicality with the presence of Onumonu, Macleans, Azizat, Ihezuo and co, we must be technical and clinical in goal.
Just see Japan and Spain goals abeg. Too much sense were involved ooo.
I know Randy will want to park bus against Brazil and catch them on counter but we must just be clinical |

Deltamani: Brazil: We have studies and analyses on Nnadozie we have passed to our strikers
Edson Alcantara, goalkeeper coach of the Brazilian Women’s National Team, says the team has conducted studies and analyses on the goalkeepers of their group phase foes as the Samba women get set to play Nigeria’s Super Falcons in their opening game of the Paris 2024 Olympics at the Stade de Bordeaux in Bordeaux on Thursday.
Alcantara says they have done extensive studies on Super Falcons goalkeeper, Chiamaka Nnadozie and have passed the information to their attackers.
‘We also have studies and analyses on the opposing goalkeepers, such as Nnadozie from Nigeria, Yamashita from Japan and Cata Coll from Spain, who we must face in the first round. In this case, we transmit the information to our outfield players, explaining the pros and cons of each of them’, says Edson Alcantara.
Nnadozie features for Paris FC in the French Division 1 Féminine and made history as the youngest goalkeeper to keep a clean sheet in a FIFA Women’s World Cup match, which she achieved in 2019 against South Korea at the age of 18.
Brazil have met Nigeria twice at senior level with the Samba women winning both. The first meeting in 1999 at the quarterfinals of the FIFA Women’s World Cup in the USA with the Brazilians winning 4-3.
The two teams met again, nine years later, in a Group F game at the Beijing Olympics in 2008 with the Brazilians winning 3-1. Hope Randy is taking notes and have done his own research ooo? |

Sports › Re: Nigeria Female National Teams' Thread by solonnachi: 12:08pm On Jul 03, 2024 |
Deltamani: Morufa Ademola Is very talented and has developed a lot, currently the best Goalkeeper in the league! She did well with Rivers Angels this Season and also won the FA cup best Goalkeeper..!
Macleans is well built just like Desire Oparanozie, quick and can use both feet’s effectively, She’s bringing that Barbara Banda/Temwa Chawinga kind of vibe even though they’re a little bit quicker than her… I think she would be playing the No,9 alongside Oshoala and Ihezuo…
With Toni Payn, Esther Okoronkwo and Ihezuo also serving as Alternatives on the Flank..! How many players will play 9 abeg? Rinsola is more of a winger who can also play 9. Gift Monday too. To me, only the midfield is ok but defenders and attackers are off. So we would miss Ashleigh Plumptre in this Olympics? Kai... |
